My parents would lose their minds if they found out their precious daughter lost her virginity to the town’s notorious bad boy and ex-convict.
Ranger Adams might have been a dangerous pariah after he was released from prison, but he was the only man I wanted. And after I convinced him to take me on a date, I got exactly what my body…and heart desired.
I spent my entire life trying to get away from my parents’ overbearing grasp. They’ve tried to control every part of my life, even down to the man I was supposed to marry. That was the price of being born into one of the South’s richest families.
The second I had a chance to move out, I did. Countless years of defiance and making my dreams come true was worth the sacrifice. No fun. No relationships. And no sex.
My life had been all work until Ranger came back into town. Everyone whispered about what he’d done to land in prison. But I didn’t care.
He was rough around the edges, wild, and free.
And I wanted every bit of what he was willing to give me.

You’re probably reading this review because you like cowboys. Let’s talk. 😉
This book was the warmest, fuzziest hug. It was a hallmark movie..after dark. 😉 I felt everything reading this book. There was relatability to the characters. I laughed. I blushed and had to fan myself. The character building, tenderness and passion, realism, hardships and emotion. AND the romance?? The way these two characters connected, and were MEANT for each other, had me swooning.
Ranger is an ex-convict rancher who’s had his fair share of struggles. After 10 years in prison, he’s still learning his worth, and trust in others. Sarah, the daughter of a wealthy, prominent family in town, moved out to start her own business. But owning her own successful bakery, isn’t enough to get her parent’s approval -something she so desperately desires. Ranger and Sarah meet and there is an instant infatuation. After agreeing to a date, their romance blooms. It was soft and sweet at first, and the passion built as the pages went on. Ranger is fierce and protective of the people he cares for. Sarah is still figuring out who she is, and inexperienced with relationships. But knows what she wants. A Cowboy named Ranger Adams. They overcome personal trauma, hardships, and learn about who they are and what they can become, together.
I related to both of these characters in so many ways. Ranger not feeling enough, and struggling with the inner prison he created for himself. Sarah learning her strengths, and creating boundaries. I’m so proud of how Sarah’s character was written. She’s strong, passionate, and stood up for not just herself, but for those around her. Sometimes our found family, is our real family..And that brings me to The Supporting Characters. Wow. Everyone of these characters were incredible. These were friends and siblings that we all want, and wish to be to others. I’m definitely excited to hear more about ALL of these characters. *cough* Deacon ❤️
You know when you finish a movie, or close a book, And you have that sigh of just..perfection? It was everything I wanted and then some. I have to mention that one of my favorite parts of the book were the Ferris Ride and the fair. It was on reading those pages, I fell head over heels.
“You're going to be the end of me," "No, Ranger. I think I'm going to be your beginning.” 🥹 are you kidding me? ❤️
My only complaint is that life got in the way, and I had to read this over the span of 4 days. I inadvertently extended the slow burn. 😆

Sarah and Ranger you are my new favourite book couple! Omg their love story is just absolutely beautiful and I love their journey together.
The story of beautifully written. One minute it tugs on your heart strings, the next you’re having a giggle to yourself. I absolutely loved reading this ARC and can’t wait to see if there is more coming from Pebble Brook Falls!
“You’re going to be the end of me’” I groaned as she slipped her hand back in mine and we started walking. “No, Ranger. I think I’m going to be your beginning.”
Topics throughout the book are: 🌄ex-con rancher hero 🌻virgin heroine 💛 insta love 🌄found family 🌻small town 💛life lessons 🌄dual POV’s
Summary🌄🌻💛: Sarah Williams is from a blue collar family, her parents are wealthy and elites of the small town of Pebble Brook Falls. They had expectations for Sarah to withhold their image but not one of those expectations was Sarah owning her own bakery. As successful as the bakery was, Sarah was still desperately seeking her parent’s approval. Ranger, is an ex-con rancher who spent the last 10 years of his life in prison for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. His life in prison has caused him to keep things bottled up inside and making it hard to trust others around him. Ranger met Sarah at a friend’s gathering, after being released from prison, and it was love at first sight. They both shied away at speaking to each other until two years later, when Ranger walked into Sarah’s bakery and she finally got the nerve to ask him out on a date. Will Ranger be able to put his trust issues aside? There is also the question of Sarah’s parents, will they get in the way of her happiness?
I would like to thank Brianna Remus for providing me my second ARC in exchange for my honest review! I honestly couldn’t put this book down, I could have read it in one day if it wasn’t for my “adult” responsibilities! It’s almost like a hallmark movie but with spicier vibes to it😉, it’s romantic, heartwarming with a bit of protectiveness and it gives you all the feel-good emotions. You get attached to the main male character and the female main character to the point where you are rooting for them and their happiness. If you are looking for a nice easy read during your summer, I highly recommend reading this book, you won’t regret it and it will get you out of a slump. Trust me when I say you won’t want to put it down!

I was already in love because I love the name Ranger....but this was such a cute small town romance love story where in the end love conquers all. I enjoyed both Sarah and Ranger's character development throughout the story and the obstacles and emotions they overcame working together.
And can we just take a moment for this perfection: “You’re going to be the end of me”, “No, Ranger. I think I’m going to be your beginning.”

I got this book as an ARC and was definitely loving it, considering I finished it in one day! I loooove Ranger, I feel like he was such a cinnamon roll MMC while still being rugged and manly. Sarah, our FMC, had some good growth. I am excited to see where this series goes, and I’m especially eager to see if we get to find out how Deacon’s story unfolds!
I really want to continue and like this romance novel. However, I just couldn't bear with the writing anymore. I feel like I'll be putting myself into boredom and in a slump if I push it through.
ARC REVIEW: If you love Hallmark movies but make it slightly spicy this one is for you! This book is definitely a nice pallet cleanser as I’d say the spice is about 🌶️🌶️/5 the scenes are definitely there just a little quick paced and straight to the point. I will say that the relationship between the main characters starts pretty fast (which I personally enjoyed) and we got to see them do things as a couple including overcome a few obstacles. This is what I feel like some books miss out on. They make us wait so long for the relationship to bloom that we don’t get to enjoy the couple truly together until the epilogue. I do wish we got to interact with Deacon a little more but overall this was a good read!
This was a beautiful story of love conquering everything. I love how manly and strong the MMC is while being a softie for her. We see the FMC come into her own in the safety of his arms. There is tons of potential for continuing a great series, which I will be eagerly watching for!!
If You Loved Me is the second book in the Pebble Brook Falls series and it follows Sarah and Ranger. Sarah is a baker and owns her own bakery, against her parents wishes, and Ranger runs his family ranch after being released from a 10 year long sentence in prison. The chemistry between these two is instant but Ranger doesn't feel he's worthy of Sarah and Sarah has some family obstacles that get in the way, but the girl knows she wants Ranger! This is a slow burn, small age gap (6 years), small town romance. It has some touch her and vibes that are just *chefs kiss*. Plus the icing scene 🔥🔥🔥 but I won't spoil it for you! I enjoyed this much better than the first, mostly because this book is told from both Sarah and Ranger's perspective whereas the first is just told from the heroines.
Having never read anything from Brianna before, I was thrilled to receive an ARC of If You Loved me, and jumped straight into the first chapter!
We have two main characters in this sweet small town romance, and a dual POV to match! Meet Ranger, an ex-convict rancher who’s spent the past 10 years imprisoned for a misunderstanding. With his trial aired live in Pebblebrook falls, and many townsfolk opinions to contend with, his attempts at rebuilding his life on the outside don’t quite go the way he’d planned. And then meet Sarah, the daughter of a wealthy, prominent family of Pebblebrook falls, who moved away from her parent’s desires to follow her dream of running a successful bakery. But with her mother as a threat lingering on her shoulders, for how long will her bakery run smoothly before she fights back?
By providing us with dual POV, Brianna gives us insight into how far back the infatuation Ranger and Sarah have for one another goes. For Ranger, who struggles to see his worth and battle his inner prison and Sarah, who so desperately desires approval from her parents on the path she’s embarked on. We witness them overcome life’s hurdles whilst gaining confidence as they learn about the strength they have when coming together. I became glued to the pages as the relationship between Ranger and Sarah grew! It was enthralling to witness the progression of both characters as they conquered different hurdles. With a sprinkling of spice, and with absolutely no spoilers here, I loved witnessing how Rangers kind and patient manner enabled Sarah to rid herself of the near 30 year hold she’d had on herself.
Brianna’s writing style and storyline was just perfect, flowing beautifully throughout the book. I will most definitely be reading more from her in the future!
“I’d give you the air in my lungs and the last beat of my heart if it meant I could die with you looking at me like that.” 🥺🥹
“I think life is filled with twists and turns & if you spend too much time wondering if something is crazy by other people’s standards then you lose out on the beauty right in front of you.”🤍
I’ve been loving books that have me in my feels & this is another of those books, one minute I’m laughing and the next I am tearing up.🥹
I didn’t know this was a second book, OOPS😅 but I am now reading the first lol.
ANYWAYS..
I absolutely fell in love with Sarah & Ranger’s insta-love🥹🥹
Ranger stole my heart, he was such a cinnamon roll, he’s a loving, caring family man, & then everything he said to Sarah had me 😩🥹
Sarah.. I loved her growth, she made a name of herself with her bakery. She struggled to find her voice and slowly she started finding it and expressing herself. I loved the strong bond she had with her brother. (I would’ve liked to see a bit more of that)
I’d def recommend this one for your next read or adding it to your tbr because it was 👌🏻🥹🤍🤍
Can I get a slow clap for Sarah and Ranger.............This book had me smiling so hard. Not often does a book boyfriend make me blush, but when Ranger said anything passionate or romantic to Sarah I could not stop blushing! I love this couple so much, and I honestly think I said out loud, " Good for you girl " when Sarah told her parents to basically shove it! The Ferris Wheel scene was everything that my romantic heart needed <3 The only thing I would say that I needed from this story was MORE OF THE STORY! Thanks so much for writing this Brianna Remus, and I will for sure recommend to everyone!
Thank you Brianna Remus I'm officially in my cowboy romance era after reading this book. It was impossible to not get lost in Sarah and Ranger's world and love story.
For different reasons, both Sarah and Ranger have spent their lives feeling trapped and unable to live life to the fullest. Sarah has had the constant shadow of her family's expectations looming over her, while Ranger wishes he could let go of his past mistakes and face his demons. After years of sacrificing so much to make her dreams come true, Sarah doesn't care where Ranger comes from or what is said about him around town, she can't help but feel that he is everything he heart desires and is willing to accept anything he can give her. Will Ranger and Sarah be able to overcome all obstacles to find the true love and happiness they have been longing for each other?
I had the privelage of reading If You Loved Me as an ARC reader, and I had trouble putting it down.(Spoilers)
I LOVED Ranger and Sarah's story, it was sweet and spicy, with a MMC who went beyond cinnamon bun and into Bear category, where he's sweet and gentle with his woman and those who matter, but a danger to those who cross them. Sarah was a total sweetheart and I found myself in her cheering section. I appreciate that she was still fun (the flower crowns made me want to cry) and inexperienced as a 30 year old virgin, but she was still incredibly relatable and a great compliment to Ranger's character. The relationships and friendships throughout the book were well formed and showed that sometimes the family you make for yourself is more a family than the one you're given.
I REALLY hope this series continues, as I need to know who will finally turn Deacons head, and I also want to hear more about Callie Rose and Miles.

I was sent this as an arc in exchange for a honest review.
I’m honestly obsessed with their story and how they came together. I didn’t know I would love this story as much as I did. I’m very much obsessed with Ranger and how he worships her 😍😍 I can’t wait till the next release 🤭. Sarah not only realizes her self worth but also allows herself to love and be loved. Ranger learns to be more than his past and the storyline was just beautiful.
This was so much better than book 1 in terms of plot and writing. I really liked the two main characters and thought they made a cute couple but it was VERY instalove-y. The story felt a little surface level but for the most part I enjoyed the book. Some of the dialogue felt a little cringey but definitely less so than in book 1.
This book is so beautifully written. I cried, I laughed and I fell in love with Sarah and Ranger. Through the twists and turns of their relationship, I felt every emotion. They both have endured pain in their lives, different and alike, and to see their character development was breathtaking. Such a wonderful book.
This is the first book I’ve read by Brianna Remus and she’s done amazing job bringing these characters to life. You’re in the moment with them while reading their story. Sitting in the rocking chairs at the ranch or in the bakery with Sarah making it everything she’s dreamed of. Sarah and Ranger : 💛good rich girl meets bad boy 💛age-gap 🥵🌶️🔥 A girl from the opposite side of the tracks about to change everything for the ex-con, bad boy. Rangers need for acceptance, Sarah’s for support both in need of love these and so many more qualities bring them together. I laughed, cried ,was asking why at times, but most importantly fell in love with them. Book Quotes : ✨ ”Dangerous in the way that had my heart skipping a beat because I knew if he ever got ahold of me, I wouldn’t be able to let him go.” ✨ ”The man just called me sugar and now my entire body felt like it was taking flight-lifted into the air on butterfly wings with a simple word.” ✨ ” Sarah’s lips weren’t made for this earth with their softness and taste of sweet honey.” ✨ ”Sarah lassoed my heart with that kiss and I’d follow her down whatever path she wanted to lead me.” Ranger’s 🥵 cowboy persona changed my POV on MMC 🫠 The best of both worlds with her forever man Sarah’s a lucky woman.😉 This series is only getting better!!! Spicy 🥵🌶️🌶️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I received this as an ARC review and it’s been one of my favorites. I’ve enjoyed every word of it.🥰❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🍁Opposite sides of the track 🍁Ex-convict rancher hero 🍁Bad boy meets rich good girl 🍁Virgin heroine 🍁Age-gap 🍁He gives her “lessons” 🍁Her parents don’t approve 🍁Small town 🍁Slow burn 🍁No 3rd act breakup 🍁Dual POV 🍁He sucks frosting off her finger 🍁Interconnected standalone

“I already knew that no one in the world could compare to you.”
Ex Convict, bad boy Ranger, has lived a difficult and challenged life having spent the last 10 years in prison for a brutal crime he committed. Innocent, beautiful Sarah, works full time in her evergrowing bakery, pondering over her non-existent love life and wanting more from life. What happens when Ranger and Sarah’s worlds collide and a mixture of lust, need and love is thrown in the mix? Let’s not forget the parents serious disapproval… can Ranger hide his feelings and stop fantasising about the girl he’s always wanted?
Now when I tell you, I couldn’t put my phone down whilst reading this! The SPICE!!!🌶️ it oozes s£x appeal and lusting; the forbidden fruit. I was rooting for Ranger and Sarah the whole way through.
I’m quite new to the small town, cowboy romance scene but this… this book, I fell in love. I swear I could almost taste and smell Sarah’s blueberry muffins through the pages. I’ve also never wanted to ride a horse more than ever whilst imagining them riding off into the sunset.
Now, no book is complete without disapproving parents, a nasty, snobby villain along the way and a sprinkling of the unknown.
“My wicked little Vixen.” “From this moment forward, you’re mine.” “Then let me give you the world.”

‼️COMING APRIL 26TH!!!!!! PRE-ORDER NOW‼️
I was given the opportunity to read this book before it was published and to give my honest review in return.
I was hooked right on the first chapter! The story was so good! The love that Sarah and ranger found was beautiful! I loved the found family and how close the friendships were between the group! Highly recommend!
This was one of the best books that I’ve read in a while. The passion and connection between Sarah and Ranger is off the charts and contributes substantially towards the story as a whole. I was captivated from beginning to ending. After Sarah meets Ranger, she starts to realize what her true potential is and I found that to be the best part of the book (standing up to her mom, advocating for herself).
Additionally, I thought Rangers character was all around amazing. From the southern charm to the brutish grit, his character embodied multiple redeeming qualities helping the story line.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book! It was fantastic from start to finish. The characters fit perfect together.
Grammatical error that I found:
Page 3: “… party for little Tommy Jackson who needed …”
I received this book as an ARC and I’m so happy I got it, I absolutely devoured it. Sarah and Ranger have completely different pasts but they fit together as if they were two halves of a soul finally meeting. You see so much growth between the two and individually which shows that they have a love story where it’s ok to start living your life later on when it means that the happiness will last forever. I can’t wait to read more from this author!
2.5 ⭐️ I am struggling a lot with this book. On one hand, the idea for the plot was totally my vibe. Good girl and bad boy just released from prison getting together against all odds. Yes please. The execution of this is what I had an issue. I don’t even know how to explain this. I feel like the characters were really forced. Like it was an acting 101 improve class where they pointed to people and were like- you are a bad boy that just got out of prison with a heart of gold- you are a good girl trying to make your way away from your parents- you are an overbearing mom that only cares about status and money- on and on. None of the characters seemed authentic. Even conversations didn’t seem real. It was all very bad acting hallmark movie. Idk I just didn’t like any of them. I don’t mean to be too harsh. I liked the idea and I kept with to see how the story came together, but it just didn’t hit for me. It was all very wholesome- well wholesome with sex, but the characters were wholesome.
**I received this book as an ARC from Brianna Remus, and it was the first book I've read by her**
If You Loved Me is book #2 in the Pebble Brook Falls Series, but it can easily be read as a standalone. It is the perfect example of found family and how we all have the ability to choose our destiny and not just be held hostage to our families and societies expectations.
Ranger is the ex-con, blue collar cowboy, with a complicated past, and Sarah is a baker who owns her own shop, and is from a notoriously blue blood family, with a complicated past of her own. The initial attraction between them is electric, and I loved watching their relationship develop into one of love, respect, and protection.
I loved, loved, loved, the virgin-heroine, making the first move and asking the cowboy out on their first date. (Even though he was too scared to say yes, lol)
Sarah's friend group; Willow, Johnny, and Deacon, Ranger’s sister, Callie Rose, and best friend Miles, were very well developed and added so much depth to the story as secondary characters. J
The dual-pov really showcased the inner turmoil they were battling, as well as gave us great insight into how long they have actually been pining for each other.
I really hope Callie Rose and Miles get their own book and can't wait to read more about them.

If You Loved Me by Brianna Remus is the perfect mix of love and lust! I couldn’t put it down once I started!
Ranger and Sarah’s story is very powerful! With Sarah being born into a rich and wealthy name and Ranger being from the wrong side of the tracks things are sure to get messy right?
Sarah is a hardworking person who did what she had to in order to chase her dreams despite her family’s opinions on how she is to succeed.
Ranger is known as the bad guy just released from prison who locks away all emotions… that is until Sarah is able to open him up and see the real him.
If you loved me is a great romance story written really well! The only thing that stoped me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that Sarah and Rangers romance builds really quickly. They go from crushing on one another to acting in love. Besides that, their chemistry is done really well!
Thank you to Brianna for allowing me the chance to be an ARC reader for If You Loved Me❤️
I love this book so much! Sarah and Ranger are actual couple goals, she’s a bakery owner who’s struggling to find herself and he’s recently gotten out of prison after being in there for 10 years.
There was so many moments throughout the book that had my legs doing a little happy dance and a blush coming across my cheeks, the romance, passion and spice was seriously so good and it fit right in with the plot without it taking over.
I’m so glad I got to read their love story 🫶🏼
• small town romance • age gap • bad boy x good girl • inexperienced FMC - he teachers her • found family
ARC Review💗 thank you to the author for kindly selecting me for the ARC💗 Honestly who doesn’t love a good cowboy? And then throw in the good girl/town recluse trope? Goner. This books was such a fun, spicy and quick read for me! It had all the elements of a good romance that you just eat up. I truly felt like I was reading a hallmark movie which is exactly what I wanted at the time. ****MINOR SPOILER****I gave 4 stars because of the “deal” situation because like how are you gonna do that when you have your literal dream guy miss girl?? Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this read and would recommend this book to anyone!
