From USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR Xavier Neal comes an all-new MMF, age-gap, dark romance series!
One stranded female on the run from her stalker. Two protective, small-town best friends now willing to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Three people in love becoming prey for the obsessed hunter lurking in the shadows. And to think. This is only the beginning.
*This content is intended for ADULTS (18+) and DARK ROMANCE fans only.
(A VERSION of this is currently published on Kindle Vella however there are noticeable changes and extensions to the updated version which will be used to continue to the series.)
“You may be his dirty little slut, but you’re gonna be my good girl. Understood?”
Dark romance. Stalker (not the good kind). Why choose/poly MMF. Mechanics/gear heads. Age gap, 40,30,25.
First off I loved Kipp, the younger of the males partners, he was an utter sweetie pie from the beginning. Like now wonder they are both head over heels for him he’s an angel, even if he gets a little jealous of people outside there three or overprotective (which is actually really cute)
He uses car references for everything even explaining everyday stuff was really endearing. I didn’t understand half the terms he used but I got the gist of everything he was explains. (So if you don’t understand cars don’t worry it won’t confuse you)
Nolan was the typical older grumpy guy, but he had a heart of gold being protective of both his partners from the get go.
Bunny was a sweet terrified feisty being. And still a bit of a mystery, other than she’s being stalked and a few surface details I feel she’s still a mystery. Which excites me for the next book.
This is a dark romance and highly spicy, like they pretty quickly jump to the spicy stuff and it continues for the whole book.
The spice is hotttt 🥵 I can’t wait to see more happen between the two guys.
I also like that there was no judging between the guys being into each other, I expect there’s still more to come for them, but there’s no judgement from anyone they are just cool with the fact they like each other as well as Bunny.
I love how protective both guys are over Bunny and how they’ll go to any lengths, any lengths, to help keep her and each other safe.
The banter between all three is great and makes the interactions between the three much more believable. There is so much teasing, and cute nicknames it’s kinda sweet.
I really enjoyed this book I binged it in less than 24 hours. Can’t wait for number 2.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
“Again, my boyfriend’s not a monster. He’s just not afraid to become one.”
I for sure thought I wrote this review already but I so was into this why choose dark romance. The characters are fantastic and I even enjoyed seeing the bond the two guys have. The dynamic between the characters were really great and I was ready to dive in deep and dirty with them all. Can’t wait for more!
First of all, thank you for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC🫶
I’m giving this book a rating of 3.75 stars ( 4 on here )
I didn’t realise this book involved a polyamarous relationship, but that’s my fault for not reading it properly! To be honest, at first I was thinking damn this is WILD🤪 Like some of the smut in here was taken to another level, especially between the two guys, but I do enjoy smut so it was okay for me! Some moments were cringe worthy but everyone has different tastes!
I liked getting to know all the characters, though I feel like we will find a lot more out about them in the next books as there isn’t a lot of character building based on past interactions. I struggled to picture Nolan, but again that’s probably just me!
I would have loved if there was a bit more of a slow burn or tension in the run up to this relationship, as Kipp and Nolan had never actually done anything together or said anything to each other that would hint they’re into one another.
If you like cars, you will love Kipp! He’s cute and quirky, always making references to cars. Some points I feel were a bit overkill but cars isn’t a massive interest to me, so to someone else they will love this!
The first half of this book, I felt like the actual stalker story was a back burner, which I was a bit disappointed in. However, the second half really picks up and had me intrigued! It ends on a cliffhanger which is great!
Some scenes started to get really interesting, when Bunny became more open and vulnerable , then it would switch up or end up in s3x. I would have liked to see more of Bunny’s backstory.
Overall, I enjoyed this book, and if throuple’s , smut, car references and stalkers are your thing, than you will enjoy this! I would definitely like to see more character development in future books, and look forward to reading more from this author 🫶
Hunted: Season One This series needs to be on your TBR ASAP if the first book has anything to say about it. And that is saying something because of the HUGE cliffy this has!
Sometimes, people fall into your life when you least expect it. That was definitely the case for Nolan and Kipp—partners working with an auto repair and towing shop.
When Nolan meets Bunny, her car has broken down and he tows her car to his repair shop.
Bunny, a woman running from her past. Never feeling safe and fearing for her life.
Until Kipp and Nolan are in her life.
This story is DARK.
Dark in both the good and bad ways.
But even with the darkness, the light from Bunny, Kipp, and Nolan made me smile.
Xavier has written another winner! ~brier @booksnbriers
Our FMC, Bunny, really has had a really messed up life and now trying to hide from her stalker. She is very cynical, sarcastic and has a distrustful attitude toward folks. What she had to endure to survive you can understand why she is the way she was. The MC, Nolan, can dish it right back at her. Kipp is laughs and cuddly as a golden retriever. They are also fierce, dark and very protective of their girl and nobody will be putting their hands on her. While her car is being worked on her hormones kick in and it leads to a lot of explosive nights with Nolan and Kipp. There was never a dull moment in the book and it continues into book two.
4 stars ⭐️ this book started off strong with the first chapter captivating my interest.
Hunted, Season 1 is a dark, age-gap, MMF romance between Nolan, Kipp and Bunny. Bunny is on the run from her stalker when her car breaks down and ends up needing help from the tow/mechanic owners. This book is filled with multiple secrets, twists and lots of spice.
The chemistry was perfect, and their relationships (both 1:1 and together) seemed to build so naturally. The possessiveness towards Bunny was spot-on and I loved the witty banter between all of them.
If you are a car person, you’ll love Kipp and all his car-analogies, but I’ll be honest, some of that went over my head 🙃.
Fair warning, this book ends on a cliffhanger, so we all must wait for Season 2 to find out what happens to Nolan, Kipp and Bunny.
Thank you Xavier Neal and DS Book Promotions for the ARC!
This didn't need to be a duet. It felt like this book was paced slowly so that there could be a book two, which for me it didn't work in its favour as I started getting bored.
Maybe a gear head would like Kipp's thinking analogies/process. It starts off funny but towards the end I was sick of it as it was acting more as filler for the story.
The book was hot. But abruptly hot. Bunny+Nolan+Kipp aka Rabbit+Mutt+The Kid have hot sex scenes. They however at times feel like they're coming out of nowhere and have no aftercare/come down/proper cuddles after. They felt like abrupt shifts.
Mutt+The Kid are essentially still getting to know each other, which I both love hate as it feels both organic and also more like them finally coming together in the biblical sense is plot reserved for book 2, so you won't get enough of just the two of them right now.
McAdams is the big baddie that people chase the whole season, only for him to appear in one episode and that is it. He was a controlling shit head but to me the book wasn't really dark dark. Maybe because it was more of Bunny narrating what took place as opposed to us watching what happened to her in perspective (which is the kind of dark that I absolutely hate and don't read).
Bunny isn't really saving herself. She's just been running, and I hate that she is basically damseled in distress, the guys had to be in the plot to save her.
So, kept my interest but I don't think I'll be going on with book 2 coz of the pacing.
I really liked this book and its story! The suspense of Bunny trying to get away from the stalker that’s chasing her was done very well, and you truly felt how terrified she was of being caught.
Nolan is a grumpy older bear who’s content on life because he has Kipp, and WOW did their relationship take me by surprise! I loved how it developed, and wish I had more of their relationship to see how it truly started to develop from the beginning. You can tell it was there from the start, and when Bunny entered their lives it kickstarted.
I know NOTHING about cars, but I actually really liked the car lingo in this!! It was just enough to amplify the story😂😂
Is it almost time for season 2/book 2 yet??👀 I can tell by all the wild stuff Bunny’s ex is doing that he’s CRAZY, and I can’t wait to find out more about him as the story progresses.
*ARC review* This was my 1st story by Xavier Neal, and I was not expecting the type of story this turned out to be (in the best way)! Bunny (FMC) is on the run from her ex, and car trouble lands her stuck in a small town where she meets Nolan (MMC #1), and eventually Kipp (MMC #2). The banter between these three was top tier, and them getting to know each other took me through so many emotions that I couldn't help but want to keep reading! The drama and intensity of the story kept me sucked in so much so that I yelled when reaching the ending (which was a cliffhanger) and I'll now be salivating waiting for the next book!
I love when Xavier Neal does Dark Romance! These characters are all kinds of yummy! Bunny (FMC) is on the run from a stalker, and finds a safe haven with Kipp and Nolan. Kip is all cinnamon-roll until he gets to dirty talking and his switch flips. Nolan is all alpha-hole until Kipp switches and he becomes just as vers. I absolutely loved their MMF scenes and the suspense of the story. That cliffie has me excited to see where this goes.
Holy smokes! I was so pulled in from the very start that I couldn't stop. I really enjoyed getting to know these characters, seeing the depth and connection that they each have to each other. Nolan and Kipp already have a strong friendship, a protectiveness that comes from each of them, and I absolutely loved that. Bring in Bunny and that protectiveness grows and gets stronger. The three of them are fire together. One of my favorite things about this read is that each character has their own strengths, as well as their own needs, and they work well playing off of those things to create a stronger bond. There's just enough suspense to keep the pages turning and I am very excited for more to come!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This book was so good, I couldn’t put it down! Bunny is running for her life, and when she meets these two men her world gets turned upside down. With nowhere to go she starts to live than just trying to survive. Nolan is a hunky man that will leave you wanting more! Kipp is a car guy through and through. He’s something else, and you’re going to love him! These three will have you swooning, and I seriously couldn’t get enough of them. I’m hoping we get more of Bunny backstory in book 2, cause this girl has been through the ringer. I’m so ready to see if our Hunter will be hunted himself! That man has some serious problems!
Ladies and Gentlemen start your engines up for this fun, fast-paced sexy read. I just couldn't put it down. I devoured it and ate it up.
Age Gap Forced Proximity Nolan is 40, Bunny is 30, and Kipp is 25 P/j
Life couldn't get any worse for Bunny, yes that's right, I said Bunny. Who lands herself in Death Canyon, Texas. Population thirty-four..and needs a tow service.
“Bunny,” she sweetly announces at the same time she shakes my hand. Almost instantly afterward, she shoots the man beside me a glare. “Yes, it’s my real name. No, it’s not a nickname.” Her palm falls defensively to her hip. “And if one of you makes any sort of joke related to Bugs or Babs or Playboy, I will bear mace you and eat a Kit Kat bar like a fucking carrot while waiting for you to go blind.” Alright.
I like Bunny, she's fun, sassy, and mysterious. She's got those boys twisting in the wind.
Nolan, well, let's just say Alpha, Dominate, and you can call him "SIR." 😈🥵🖤
"Nolan does his best not to smirk at the same time he braces his arms on the counter. “Towing services are twenty-four-seven. Mechanic services are eight to five Monday through Friday and ten to four on Saturdays. Closed on Sundays.” He cocks his head in a condescending fashion. “Guess the F in Friday today stands for fu(k$d.”
Mr Sunshine ☀, yes uh!! Nope.
Then we have Kipp who 25, likes to think of himself as the Caranova. Nope! I didn't misspell it. Kipp knows everything car-related and knows how to prove it. His vocabulary is even car-related. Which is kinda cool.
I love this book. It's fun. The banter is perfect between the characters. I also like her writing style. It's clear and easy to read. This allows us as readers to be able to get through it without confusion. It makes for a GOOD read. I will be coming back for more.
To say I've been waiting patiently to read this book is an understatement. When I heard that this book was coming out I was super excited and it has not disappointed at all. Be warned that if you are not a fan of dark romance, you will not like this book so read at you own discretion. I can't wait to see what's next.
Loved this dark twisted heartstopping broken insta action love story of Nolan kid and Rabbit All the feels Ready for more Need book2 Don't leave me hanging Gimme
This is the first MMF book that I read and it was a great start to this trope. The chapters are written from three different POVs. You can really tell the difference in the characters when changing POVs. Not only do we get to explore the relationship among Bunny, Nolan, and Kipp, but also their individual connections with one another. I love the protective nature that Kipp and Nolan have with Bunny and the lengths they go through to protect their woman. The spice scenes were really spicing; I had to read them a couple of times at the start to understand how it all worked. The banter, the car metaphors, and their nicknames were just so funny.
We get dark romance, suspense, and an enemy we haven’t met yet. We just scratch the surface on their past and the reasons they are the way they are. Their relationship brings out emotions, aptitudes, questions, and decisions they never considered before. This was a great start to this series and I hope to read the rest of the books soon. I need to know what happens after that cliffhanger.
Thank you DS Book promotions and the author for the review copy. This is my honest opinion.
Hunted, Season 1 is a super hot and sweet MMF romance between Bunny and two best friends. This was my first book by Xavier Neal, and I am interested in reading more from this author. It hooked me from the beginning, and I couldn't put down this book.
Bunny is on the run from her stalker and is stranded after her car breaks down in small town. Nolan towed her car to his shop, which he shared with his best friend Kipp. Her car is going to take a couple of weeks to fix, so Kip invites her to stay with them.
Nolan is the grumpy and broody older man, but he is very loyal and will do anything for the people he loves. Kip is the sunshine out of these two, and he is instantly smitten with Bunny. Things really heat up once they are living together in a forced proximity situation. They jumped right into a sexual relationship that felt pretty seamless. Nolan and Kip have already been pining after each other and are finally able to explore their attraction. I loved the dynamic between Nolan and Kipp, and they had amazing chemistry.
The sexual chemistry was so hot between these 3. I loved how they were all getting involved, and no one felt like the third wheel. I truly felt their connection.
Some suspenseful elements come into play when Bunny's stalker starts closing in on her location. Please be aware that this book ends in a cliffhanger.
TW: mentions of animal harm and cruelty
Thank you to Xavier Neal and DS Promotions for providing the ARC.
I loved the idea of this book and it had some really great moments that had me completely hooked and hanging on every word. On the flip side, it also got a bit lost sometimes.
Xavier Neal, has some of the most unique characters I think I've ever read. They have these unique personality traits or quirks and this one is no different.
The heroine, Bunny (yes that's her real name) has hypergraphia, which is something I never heard of before and I loved how it was worked into her character and actions throughout the story. She's smart, and tough in some ways, but the damage her ex has done to her has left her wounded and terrified at the same time.
Kipp, The Kid, is a car nut and he talks in 'car' a lot. It gives him the opportunity to explain himself in terms his comfortable with. The others don't always get it, but it's cute and they even talk back to him in 'car' sometimes.
Nolan is the silent grumpy type, but those he cares for have all of him and he'll do anything for them. He's incredibly protective though and doesn't let many people really in. He and Kipp have a solid partnership in business and friendship.
They meet by chance and from there, they can't deny the chemistry. But with Bunny's trouble following her, Nolan's over-protectiveness, and closed walls, Kipp is the only one who's willing to jump both feet in. Once the other's hard shells crack there is no stopping them coming together.
The letdown for me was sudden scene jumps/endings. It would be getting really into something and then the chapter would end and just move on like it never happened. I get they were trying to let her spill her secrets in her own time, and they had their own stories to tell but for me, it just left it feeling a disconnect. A couple of times I was sure I must have skipped a few pages and double-checked.
There are a lot of car metaphors and if you've read any of Xavier's work before you'll find she does like to add in that kind of quirks for her characters. I could have been dialed back a bit but it wasn't terrible.
As this is part of a trilogy it had a good cliffhanger ending and our three characters had finally found some solid footing and let down some walls and spilling secrets.
I'm hoping for more from book two and look forward to seeing what Xavier has in store for them next. . . . Bunny has once again done what she's had to do for the last few years. Drop everything in her life and run when he got to close. She hopes she's given herself enough time to put some distance and lose him again but now she's broken down in the middle of nowhere Texas. Death Canyon, population 34. She's wondering if this is some sort of sign.
Nolan hates the rich idiots who come through his small town and get stuck, but their money is just as good and he'll take it. He's surprised when he pulls up to the broken-down fancy car but the woman inside isn't the usually plastic, photoshopped princess. Nonetheless, he wants her on the move as quickly as possible.
Kipp lives for working on cars and when something special comes into his shop it makes his day, but for the first time in a long time it's not the car Nolan has towed in that has him excited. The beautiful woman who seems to have his best friend pissed has him salivating. Truth is, he's sure Nolan is too but the man will never let his walls down for a stranger so quickly.
When it turns out Kipp won't be able to do a quick fix on Bunny's car she ends up sleeping in the back while it's locked in the shop with the two owners upstairs in their apartment. She knows she can't stay in one place too long but she's sure she's just enough ahead and isolated enough that she can wait.
Nolan can sense the trouble wafting off her and worries that Kipp is going to get lost in her spell, truth is as much as he fights it that spell is working on him too.
Their relationship has always had an undercurrent of something more than friendship but neither Kipp or Nolan seem to push the line, but with Bunny stirring up all sorts of feelings in them both they are also facing their connection to each other as well. 'What is it about our little cotton tail that brings out his big bad wolf side? And why the fuck am I just waiting for my turn to be gobbled up?'
With Bunny's hunter still out there and too many secrets being kept anything they are starting to build could crumble beneath them. If she doesn't let her walls down a little, she could end up hurting them in more ways than one. "Fine, you don't need anything or anyone, but that doesn't mean you don't deserve it, baby. And just because you can take care of yourself doesn't mean some asshole like me doesn't wanna help you do it, too."
Not everything is black and white, but rather 69 shades of gray in this dark and spicy world full of mystery and tension with a dangerous stalker mystery that will have you gripping your sheets- e-reader, I mean. Yeah, for sure. 😈
✨️One of the MCs has the nickname "The Kid," but not to worry, he's 25. Nolan is 40, and Bunny is 30.
📖 On the run from a scary, dangerous ex, Bunny, whose adult life has been a series of unfortunate events of escalating concern leading her car to break down in a placed called Death Canyon, of all places.
“Yes, it’s my real name. No, it’s not a nickname.” Her palm falls defensively to her hip. “And if one of you makes any sort of joke related to Bugs or Babs or Playboy, I will bear mace you and eat a Kit Kat bar like a fucking carrot while waiting for you to go blind.”
Nolan and Kipp have known one another for a long time, but when Nolan tows Bunny's car into the shop for Kipp to repair - sparks fly.
✍️🏼 I loved the writing, especially the nuance Xavier adds by having a lot of similies and such revolving around vehicles and mechanical-type words.
The dialogue is great with witty, funny lines throughout and oh! The dirty talk is exceptional.
If you aren't a fan of "ain't" in lit, it is used at least a few times. It fits the character, if that matters.
The use of related word play I personally find fantastic, as well as the car related euphemisms. I had a lot of fun reading them and chuckled numerous times. However, I can imagine some wouldn't enjoy either, so if that applies to you, this may not be a fun book for you.
⏳️I enjoyed the quicker pace, it helped me since I really didn't want to put it down.
👥 I loved the characters and found them well developed - full of dimension, personality, and nuance. Bunny is sassy, full of heart, and not afraid to use her body (or her sexuality) with the people she's with. Nolan is a grumpy alpha, with a funny side. Kipp, sweet, sweet Kipp - The Kid is a car genius
I will say I realized when I went to write this review I realized the physical descriptions of the characters are minimal. I had mental images of them anyway, so it didn't bother me but it may some people.
There's cast diversity too, with Bunny having brown skin and a lawyer being Hispanic ('think of him as the Hispanic Lincoln Lawyer,' as he says).
💞 The romance is a tiny bit in the insta side. As someone who strongly dislikes instalove, however, it was just enough not insta that it wasn't an issue for me. It worked and fit this story, these characters. Also, I loved everything else so much and was fully invested so I found I just didn't care and forgot quickly. The dynamic between those 3 is beautiful, truly.
🌶 This is quite possibly the spiciest book I've read, without the spice overtaking or impeding on the plot. I don't have MMF experience, so I can't speak to it being fully realistic, but it seemed to be anecdotally realistic. It was 🥵 regardless, and I love that Xavier put emotion and connection into the 🌶 scenes at times. There's also a good bit of very well done dirty talk.
There's a scene where Bunny's making sausage balls and both guys end up helping and the sexual tension is so high it could fully cook the aforementioned sausage balls.
📚 If you like: The Fast and the Furious, The MindF*ck series, or Rook & Rebel (Kate Crew) then I think you would enjoy Hunted Season One.
Thank you to @authorxavierneal and @ds_promotions1 for the opportunity to read this eARC. All opinions expressed are my own.
🖤Top notch banter 🩶 FMC on the run 🖤 Found Family 🩶 MMF 🖤 SPICE 🥵 🩶 Fast paced 🖤 Unaliving
Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
I’m still trying to wrap my head around this book. I absolutely DEVOURED this book in the span of a day. The writing sucked me in and didn’t let go until the very end. It checked every. single. box. I fell hard for each of the characters. You have the Cinnamon Roll gearhead MMC, the Grumpy Protective MMC, and the Independent Snarky FMC. The chemistry is off the rails. I want more.
Bunny is on the run from her ex who is of the “if he can’t have her then no one can,” mentality. Her car lets her down in Death Canyon, Texas. She gets a two from the grumpy tow truck driver who sees her as nothing but trouble, the kind of trouble he wants but shouldn’t. When he brings her back to the garage, his best friend Kipp delivers the bad news that it’s going to be at least a week if she’s lucky to fix the car. Bunny just needs to get out of there and on the run again. There is something that flows between the three of them that has them all out of sorts, in the best of ways.
I genuinely don’t want to spoil this story by giving too much away. What I can say is that if you like any of the tropes listed above, then you absolutely need to read this book. I am in love with Nolan, Kipp, and Bunny. I love the mental health rep, the POC rep, age gap, protectiveness, jealousy (but in the most endearing way!), the car metaphors, and just the whole darn thing!
Mrs. Xavier Neal. Ma’am. I’m going to need the next book like, yesterday! 😂 I mean, I know that there was a cliffhanger, but…Ah! I need to know what happens next! This book CONSUMED me in the best way possible. I will be thinking about this until the next one comes out. You have hooked me in as a fan for life. I’ll be spending my summer reading your entire backlog 😅
Thank you DS Book Promotions for the letting me ARC review this book!
🔧 “I wanna stick my d*** in her, not the car. Just to be clear.” ⚙️ “Do what Sir said, Rabbit.” 🔧 “Such a good girl c***ing for me.” ⚙️ “You wanted my c*** on her tears…” Their eyes cut to one another to lock. “F***ing taste it.” 🔧 “ForFerrarisake, I want them both on my c***.” ⚙️ “Smashes him face first into the mess and wickedly commands, “Clean your plate, Sir.”

Overall, "Hunted" is a thrilling ride packed with heart-pounding moments and tender connections. Xavier Neal delivers a story that combines romance and suspense seamlessly, making it a compelling read for fans of romantic thrillers. If you enjoy stories of love, loyalty, and resilience in the face of danger, "Hunted" is sure to leave you eagerly turning the pages until the very end.
Nolan and Kipp are exactly what the doctor ordered! 4.5 stars ☆
Why is it that books about a stalker always appeal to me? I don’t know what that says about me, but this story was so well constructed I was glued to the pages until I finished. Xavier Neal unravels a story about obsession, depravity, danger, falling in love unexpectedly and doing everything in your power to protect what you've found in a way that is beautiful, sexy, and disturbing all at once. Bunny finds herself in the middle of Death Canyon (you heard that right) because of a car malfunction, running from a madman who has made her life a living hell for the past 3 years. There she finds Nolan and Kipp, two very different men (with shared history) who want to teach her there is no need to run anymore and that together they are what she has craved for a lifetime: Family!
Our female lead is strong (despite her circumstances), mouthy, feisty, stubborn, careful to give out her trust (but can we blame her), sexy, and comfortable with who she is. Being on the run has not given her a moments peace in the last 3 years and has left her with a constant feeling of dread that follows her everywhere she goes. Our male leads represent different sides of the spectrum: Nolan is older, rougher around the edges, with a lifetime of experiences we can only imagine about and Kipp is younger, with an upbringing that was not surrounded in a picket white fence, but he still has the ability to see the good around him. What they both have in common: They will protect Bunny and what they have found in each other (love) at any cost. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!!! The madman needs to be stopped and I can't wait to see how Xavier makes that happen. Can't blame a girl for loving some good old retribution 😉!
I was lucky enough to be asked to arc read this book and it did not disappoint!
What a start to the trilogy! When Bunny receives help from a local tow truck she didn't expect the man who's charm was nothing to be desired to be the one thing that would ground her and make her stick around and keep close the thing she's been pushing away to sure her survival after her psychotic stalker ex has chased her around , putting her life on hold. Having not one but two men who claim she's the missing piece they never knew they were looking for bunny starts to feel alive again, only for it to be short lived when her dark past starts to cast its shadow on the life she's started to enjoy. Nolan finally gives in to something he's pushed aside for years due to his age and the fact that he's never put the pieced together on how he's felt for kipp until a certain bunny hops into their life and dangles the carrot in front of them both. Giving this new relationship ago they know it's them against the world especially with her ex closing in. Also who doesn't love a mmf with a side of 'good girl' and 'sir' thrown in 😏 and plenty of spicy 🔥 Brilliant cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more! Can't wait to see what the next book brings.
A few of my favorite quotes
Bury myself between her thighs and use my tongue to shove the cum back in before it’s had a chance to seep onto the mattress proving I’m a man of my word. She made a mess. And now I’m gonna fucking clean it up.
“You may be his dirty little slut, but you’re gonna be my good girl. Understood?”
“Be a good girl for us and get on your knees, baby…”
“How could you think for even a fucking second that there would be anywhere else in the world safer for you than in a home protected by the two men who willingly put people in the ground for trying to get near you?”
“Do what Sir said, Rabbit.”

After Kipp assesses her car and realizes it will take a week to fix, Bunny finds herself spending more time with these two amazing guys. Their chemistry is incredible, and as they share spicy moments together, their feelings begin to blossom.
Just when things seem to be looking up, they discover that Bunny is still in danger. Nolan and Kipp become her fierce protectors, determined to keep her safe from anyone who poses a threat.
The author has created a vibrant world filled with lovable characters, making it easy to root for the throuple of Bunny, Nolan, and Kipp. With a fast-paced plot packed with mystery, suspense, and a touch of romance, you won’t want to put the book down. I devoured it in one sitting! Now, as I eagerly await Book Two, I wish you happy reading!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝: 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐧𝐞 by Xavier Neal is a spicy MMF age gap, dark romance that really brings the heat and the intrigue. Bunny was running for her life, when car trouble stranded her outside a small town. When she’s rescued by an unlikely duo of mechanics in Nolan and Kipp, she gets a whole lot more than a car repair. The dynamic between Nolan and Kipp is an interesting one, and while their common attraction to Bunny unfolded very quickly, the passion explodes from the pages, but also brings out many emotions and revelations too. Kipp comes off as the cute and funny golden retriever type that talks in car metaphors, unless you threaten someone he cares about, then he acts more like his mentor. Nolan is the older, gruff, protective alpha of the throuple, who will literally cross any line, in order to keep his loved ones safe. The glimpses into Bunny’s backstory thus far are horrific, and the suspense plot is definitely entertaining. I zoomed right through this book, only having the flow interrupted a coupled times by another spicy scene, when my mind was focused on the suspense.🫣😅 I look forward to seeing what happens next, because cliffhangers and I are not besties!😂
I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
This is book 1 in a trilogy and does end on a cliffhanger (but not one of those throw your book across the room ones LOL). Originally this was available in short form on Vella and is now complete in the first part of the story. Part two can be read in short form segments on the authors patreon subscription, but you can also just wait for book two to come out. Now to the review. Oh man, so much to say here. This story is a story within a story. Bunny is running for her life and finds herself right where the world needs here. Nolan and Kipp have been best friends for a long time but never realized what was missing in their lives and their dynamic until a scared Bunny stumbles into it and shakes up everything they've ever known. This is a stalker story, a love story, a discovery story and so much more. Each character is so distinct, and you can't help but fall in love with each of them for both their sweet and sassy sides. Kipp's car talk is delightful. The banter is perfection. The supporting case is also great and adds a brilliant layer to the small town they are living in. There is drama and intrigue, stress and joy, love and fear, it's the emotional gamut and I was here for all of it. Oh, and let's not forget it's oh so steamy too. I can't wait for the next book in the series and to see where this journey takes them.
Oh my, Bunny, Kipp, and Nolan have made my little ol’ 📚 ❤️ so happy. I love how they just seemed to fit together, the puzzle is complete now. And the way they banter and pick on one another. It’s out of love (which they all feel yet fear to voice), and it truly gets them going. These three just work!
When Bunny finds herself stranded on the side of the road after once again being forced to run, she has no choice but to accept the help being offered by the tow truck guy, Nolan. He’s a bit gruff but she can handle him. And then there’s his partner, Kipp. A bit younger than Nolan, but still a force of his own. What she didn’t expect was the comfort she felt. They opened their home to her. They bickered, they ate together, they discovered each other. And it scared Bunny how safe she felt.
What Nolan and Kipp discovered was that Bunny was what made them a family. She made them willing to feel things they only ever thought of in the dark. And that they would do whatever was necessary to protect the woman they loved. Once Bunny let them in, they proved their loyalty, their love, their bond.
But when the past comes calling, can they protect Bunny? Can Bunny let them carry her load?
I loved all the car references. It fit so well with their attitudes and style. Anxiously awaiting the next book.
✨REVIEW✨ No way did it end like that! This book has me in a chokehold… from the start to the end new information was revealed and omg I can’t believe I have to wait for the second book.
First off the plot 🤭 it’s spicy, it’s thriller, It’s funny, it’s dark. What more could you need! Honestly the plot had me shocked. Like sometimes I was like “no way he did that” “what the f@ck” and “wait what?”. I loved it! And will definitely be checking out more books by Xavier
Now let’s talk about bunny. Yes her name is actually bunny. I love her! She’s funny, she’s sassy and she just fights the boys so well. The first time she meets Nolan is so funny to me.
Nolan who is the first guy we meets is grumpy but in a funny way. I love how protective he is but also how mature he is. I also really like how he looks after them.
The other boy who’s apart of this relationship is Kipp who is absolutely my favourite. I love how he is just so adorable and adds the playful dynamic in the relationship vs how Nolan adds the protective dynamic and Bunny adds the communication and independent aspects.
Overall this book is sooo good! Between the banted and spice and the seriousness I can definitely see this being a new favourite series! Be warned this book does end on a cliffhanger.
Tropes: dark MMF romance, forced proximity, age gap, woman in peril, stalker, possessive alphas
One stranded female on the run from her stalker. Two protective, small-town best friends are now willing to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Three people in love becoming prey for the obsessed hunter lurking in the shadows. And to think. This is only the beginning.
This wasn't my first read by Xavier Neal, and it absolutely won't be the last, a fact I'm reminded of every time I finish one of her books. No one I've come across writes like her. She has a unique humor that I absolutely love. Her characters are always original. I feel like I learn something new with every book, and I'm constantly highlighting while taking notes. The banter is always grade A. One note I made is that reading an Xavier Neal book is just plain fun. I fell hard for Kipp and Nolan. Kipp had a habit of describing everything in his life in car terminology. The fact that Xavier was able to come up with the dialog and that I understood it was absolutely amazing. The humor among these three had me spitting my drink out more than once. My favorite aspect was Xavier's own vocabulary of filthy poetry. This is book one or season one of three seasons, and it is so worth the time. This is my honest opinion, freely given.
Thank you to Xavier Neal for allowing me to ARC read this bad boy!! If you love a dark, why choose, MMF romance that involves a st@lker, a girl on the run, and 2 very hot car guys then you need to read this now!!
Bunny is on the run from her st@lker when her car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Just when she thinks her luck can’t get any worse, she meets Nolan, the handsome albeit grumpy mechanic who offers her a tow to the shop and to fix her car. Bunny is super feisty and edgy. She doesn’t necessarily want to go with Nolan but she’s got no other choice. When they get to the shop, she meets Nolan’s partner, Kipp. Kipp is the super cute and sweet mechanic who’s instantly attracted to Bunny. While Nolan is the broody type, Kipp is the golden retriever type of the duo who loves car metaphors.
I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. I haven’t had the best reading month, but this book definitely changed that. Age gap is one of my favorite tropes and the author wrote it well. This story was full of passion, possessiveness, great banter and HOT SPICE!!! The glimpses of Bunny’s past was a great touch to better understand her character. Loved the dynamic between Nolan & Kipp!! And the cliffhanger?? Whoa!! I’ll definitely be coming back for more!! 4 stars! I highly recommended!! Out now!
