I’m just here for Queen/Empress* Alicia. I’d read a spin off just about her. A Queen that actually acts and looks the part? (Commands authority, is competent) And that was trained in personal combat like any other noble? Sign me up!

Lloyd is still his hilarious self, but that’s just a plus. This series is the perfect antithesis to the “Patriarchy kink” that are more manwhas.

I am all caught up with the webtoon and have no idea how far this one goes so I shall put my final thoughts here - I suppose.

I like that we got a good wrap-up of the other Lloyd. Enjoying how the women are drawn. It is so invigorating to read that muscle women seem to be the standard in this story. Every powerful person seems to be a woman and that is both parts confusing and enchanting because a lot of mahwas avoid doing this all together. I adore how far we have come with Suho's characterisation and his relationship with Javier. I am also giggling at the eyes he seems to be throwing the queen's way (and vice versa).

This entry has a lot more action and battle sequences. They provide stimulation for growth and the need to interact with new characters--but they don't move the story itself in dramatic ways. Readers learn a bit more about Colonel Kim's former life and the regrets he is working through. Frontera creates concrete, raises the levels of his summons, and attracts the attention of the Empress by defending the neighboring town of Creamo from a giant sea monster. It's fine but you have to be in the mood for this style of humor.

Tbh the ending was.... kinda weird? But I really enjoyed this series and I appreciate that the author didn't drag it on for like twenty volumes. It's also a little too "pro free market" lol but the plot and characters are so charming I'm willing to overlook this.

I started this on a whim because someone mentioned in a comment that the fan service in it was for everyone. The artist apparently really likes muscles. So every character in the story has muscles.

Which is true. It is hilarious and doesn't take itself very serious. Which if you want something with some more meat, will irritate you after a while. For me it is just serious enough at times to keep me interested. But I will admit I mainly enjoy the stupidness of it all. It is just what I want at this time.

Before I started I did think it was completed so finding out it is on a hiatus is a bit of a downer. But I am not there yet (episode 142) so enough story to keep me entertained for now.
