This chronicle on science fiction comics does well on Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon and the space adventurers of the 1940s and 1950s. After that it misses too much stuff for a favorable review, both in the body of the book and the overall listing at the end. No V (adapted from the TV show). No American Flagg (huge in the 1980s). Not even any Jetsons, one of the best known franchises.

Great 3rd volume in this illustrated history of comics. Tons of excellent covers covering the SiFi comics from their beginning in the early 1950s through the 1990s. This is fantastic history for anyone wanting to learn the development of the America comic book. Very recommended
