A sweet story of love and family, trauma and forgiveness. Elise and Luc are wonderfully-drawn characters, believable, lovable, and vulnerable. The setting details are lush and sweeping. Kaya also created an intriguing cast of secondary characters, which I love in a romance! It’s a wonderful start to the series. I can’t wait to read Fate at The Wisteria Estate.

Slow-Burn International Romance
This is one of those small, meandering romances that takes a while to unfold. We first meet the heroine and her sister as she's wrapping up a big deal on an inexpensive home. She has struggled financially since their parents’ deaths, as her father left them in significant debt. Soon, she meets her next client, another Frenchman from Marseille, who wants to buy a home in her area. This simple beginning in the United States then goes to France as this man decides he wants her to help him sell his home in France.
The characterization of the hero, heroine, and even secondary ones was well done in this book. The characters felt three dimensional, and the main ones had deep backstories, which I love. The author mostly avoided the dreaded data dump, although there was perhaps some degree of this the beginning, but the author wove it in artfully in conversations and mental musings that seemed appropriate. One thing that did seem odd to me, though, was the emphasis on how the heroine only had meager savings; yet we are told that she's the top-selling real estate agent at her agency and has been for a while. These two facts just didn't seem to add up.
But I digress. The couple had vulnerabilities on both sides. This was actually well crafted and layered by the writer. I adore characters who have true vulnerabilities, but sometimes writers can be a bit harsh with their own characters! Not in this case. If you love slow-burn romances with depth, you will most likely enjoy this story.

What a lovely time I have had escaping into the sunshine of this story which moves effortlessly from its lovely beginning in the USA, to the beautiful French resort of Marseille.
Elise Laird is in real estate and enjoys selling high end properties to the rich, so when she is recommended by a wealthy French client to help out with a property search for a friend of his, Elise is only too pleased to try and help out and is especially intrigued when she learns that her handsome new client, Luc Dubonier, is deliciously single. Elise is intrigued when Luc asks her not only to find him an exclusive property in the US, but also to sell a fabulous property, which is worth millions of dollars. The only complication is that Luc's property is situated in far away, Marseilles, France.
What then follows is a delightful story which is both sweetly romantic and unashamedly feel good and the author does a great job of keeping the story alive with some great characterisation along with a story which brings the delightful allure of Marseilles into the narrative. The author writes well and keeps the momentum of the story intriguing so that I enjoyed spending time with both Elise and Luc as they discover more about themselves, life and ultimately, love.
I found the The Marseille Millionaire to be the perfect antidote for the troubled times which we are currently experiencing.

After reading 'Maybe in Monaco,' I thought, let's give another one of her books a go. They're perfect books to read in between, or when you're just lounging by the pool or whatever. Just some light and fun reads. Elise is a luxury real estate agent and is helping out Luc, a very handsome Marseille Millionaire 🤭, to sell his house. He wants to sell it asap because it reminds him of his past and the ones he lost. I loved Elise's character. She was smart, funny, and caring. Luc was adorable, a sweetheart from the very beginning. Elise helps him with the house but also helps him heal. It was a real slow burn, but it was adorable. Elise's sister, Rose, was a mood, so young and naive, but it was cute to see her grow and learn a lot about herself and what she's capable of. If you love happily ever afters, I'd definitely recommend her books. They're not like, 'wow, so good,' but they're just fun haha

Perfect poolside read. Grab a glass of rosé, sit down and enjoy a delightful story about new relationships and moving on.The Marseille Millionaire tells the story of a young woman struggling with her past and unsure what her future holds. Throughout the story she learns to move forward making peace with her past. She helps others along the way do the same. The warm hearted people she meets on this journey open the door for her to find love. Kaya Quinsey Holt paints a beautiful picture of her characters travels. It makes me want to go to Marseille; I’m looking forward to checking out her other books.

The Marseille Millionaire is a delightfully sweet romance in the South of France. I loved this beautiful romantic story.
The characters are charming and well developed. The author has written the scenes in Marseille such that the reader can see them vividly. The storyline is wonderfully well written and engaging, capturing my interest from start to finish. There is drama, family, and love.

Main character Elise experiences professional success despite the trials and tribulations of real life. Her work travels take her to Marseille and the story line will make you feel like you are sitting with her at a street cafe in France. Special relationships are formed and decisions are made based on genuine feelings for those involved regardless of the monetary outcome. A very inspiring and lovely story line that will leave the reader wanting to travel to France.

This book is such a page turner - it's the perfect escape from a Canadian January. The relationship between the sisters, the characters, the settings - all are so warm and vivid. You can practically smell the sea air and feel the Mediterranean sun on your face. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this light, sweet, perfect winter antidote.

The characters–charming. The story–well crafted and engaging.
I loved Kaya's latest novel about Elise and Luc and their Marseille romance. All of the characters are relatable, charming, and I felt I knew them by the end. The subplots were engaging, and the descriptions (especially once Elise arrived in Marseille) reminded me of my time there and the incredible Marseille energy.

I Loved Loved LOVED this book. A must-read! Quinsey Holt does a wonderful job of transporting the reader into the world of her characters. The book is beautifully written and the story is heartwarming. I highly recommend it!!!

This was a hot steamy erotic romance story perfect for a quick afternoon read.

A lovely fairy tale romance. Don't get your hopes up girls. Not many of us get to meet and fall for a millionaire who will fall for us too. But it was a lovely read and I enjoyed it immensely.
