Reviewed for THC Reviews Ghost Park was a nice little story that was slightly creepy without being too scary. I liked that the main character, Chase, was interested in preserving the environment while still being sympathetic to her dad's plight of needing a job. I thought Ghost Park also had a great message about how important it can be to let go of the hurts of the past in order to get on with living life. Overall, it was probably my favorite story in the Haunted anthology in which it is found and a pretty enjoyable read. Ghost Park can also be purchased as a separate e-book.
Note: I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for my review.
I'd like to thank the author for the copy of this series in exchange for an honest teview.
The concept of a ghost park in a long forgotten stretch of woods was interesting. The writing was good, articulate, and concise. I felt it needed a little more on the characters especially Chase. I wasn't exactly sure how old Chase was. And the two kids in the park , how is it they were corporal and yet ghosts? What was the ship, and how did it turn people into ghosts? It left me pondering.
It was a bit creepy at times. Personally I would have liked a few more details. But as a short story it was good.

If this first book is any indication of the series, I'm going to enjoy reading these. Good young adult novel, easy to read while I was grilling dinner last night. The story was fun, and the characters seemed real enough to make this an enjoyable read. I'm looking forward to reading more of these.
This was a nice little story, the kind you read on your lunch hour or while waiting for your kids to finish pratice. At first, I wasn't sure where it was going but it has just the right amount of creepiness to make you wonder...what if. Really must get more....
