About the author

Jack L Roberts is a longtime editor and nonfiction book author for young readers, ages 9-14. As an editor he has worked at both Sesame Workshop on the TV show "The Electric Company" and for 21 years at Scholastic Inc. He has written numerous biographies and other nonfiction titles for Scholastic, Lerner Publishing Group, Benchmark Education, among others. More recently, he launched Curious Kids Press, an educational publishing company focusing on informational texts for young readers.
