The Illustrated Field Guide to DMT Entities: Machine Elves, Tricksters, Teachers, and Other Interdimensional Beings

Rate this book
A full-color exploration of DMT beings and Ayahuasca spirits

• Examines 25 of the most commonly encountered DMT entities, from machine elves and fairies to insectoids, Reptilians, and divine beings such as Grandmother Ayahuasca

• Discusses each entity in depth, including people’s encounters with them from trip reports and scientific studies, descriptions of how the entities appear and behave, and communications or teachings they impart

• Features visionary art by Sara Phinn Huntley and other artists, including Alex Grey, Andrew Jones, Luke Brown, Juliana Garces, Erial Ali, and Harry Pack

One of the features consistently noted by visitors to the hyperspace realm invoked by DMT is the existence of many different entities. In this full-color illustrated handbook for understanding the intelligent alien species of hyperspace, psychedelic explorer David Jay Brown and visionary artist Sara Phinn Huntley explore 25 of the most commonly encountered DMT beings and ayahuasca spirits, from “self-transforming machine elves,” ancestor spirits, tricksters, and metallic spheres to insectoid mantis beings, reptilians, gray aliens, nature spirits, and divine beings, such as the Virgin Mary, Gaia, angels, Grandmother Ayahuasca, and deities from Hindu, Egyptian, and South American spiritual traditions.

Profiling the DMT entities in the style of a naturalistic field guide, complete with evocative illustrations by Huntley and other artists such as Alex Grey, Andrew Jones, Luke Brown, Juliana Garces, Erial Ali, and Harry Pack, the authors discuss the entities in depth, including people’s encounters with them, descriptions of how they appear, and summaries of the communications they impart. They explore whether these beings are generated by our minds or if they exist independently of the DMT trip.

Providing a comprehensive exploration of this world, this guide seeks to describe the alien residents of interdimensional space and help people who have encountered DMT beings integrate their experiences.

With DMT/alien abduction/dream reports - your ego typically remains intact

Alien encounters often happen in times of trauma and stress. Perhaps the intensity of emotion overrides the pineals ability to prevent DMT release

75% of DMT trips include a reported entity experience
70% were benevolent
20% were neutral or ambiguous
10% were hostile

30% of the beings were formless
20% humanoid
10% divine
10% alien
X% fae, animals, machines, misc

50% of atheists with be agnostic after a DMT experience

If something exists from its own side, has its own perspective, then it is real, therefore the entities are real.

Too much travel in the DMT space could produce hyperspace tension

It appears that the alien visitors are hiding themselves in our folklore

Machine elves - interested in communication

Mantids- wise, old, cold hearted, surgeons operating on our brains (all plants and animals produce DMT except for insects)

Reptilians- usually dont try to cause harm but dont necc. Have our interests in mind.

Grays- most common alien in abduction reports, look like embryos. Perhaps not biological but mechanical beings acting on behalf of AI, seeking symbiosis with our species.

Blue/purple beings - benevolent (called kobolds in German folklore)

Clowns, imps, tricksters - they teach through toying with is. Approach w caution

Threshold guardians- can be challenging

Spirit guides- protective

Indigenous demigods- powerful, beneficial

Jesus or even (old white) God - benevolent but possible that entities are masquerading as our religious icons

Virgin Mary- healing, peaceful

Angels- benevolent, comforting, healing

Devil/demons- frightening, but often the precursor to healing (after being torn apart)

Animal human hybrid- powerful and sacred

Ancestors- more often encountered w Aya. Pure DMT is less earth bound.

Fairies- unpredictable, altruistic or nefarious

Gnomes- the DMT space is often an underground cavern. (Behave like fairies)

Grandmother Aya- perhaps more of a spirit than an entity. Wise. Loving but stern.

Plant/fungi spirits- do they live in the plants or are they activated by the plants? Teachers

Animal spirits- snakes, jaguars. Meaningful

Octopus- bodyless, telepathic, forming a symbiosis with us.

Chemical spirits- of LSD, ketamine, 2CB. Perhaps they do exist and in addition to Set, setting, dosage, their intention matters to the cocreative experience.

Mother Gaia- maternal. Can be painful to empathize with her environmental pain.

Beings of light- friendly, sacred.

Interesting. There's probably no way to be sure either way whether these experiences are constructed from the mind or if there is some basis in external reality.

Absolutely amazing! I was able to pull from this book other books to read. I appreciated the different experiences that people had and shared.

This book is mostly a compilation of trip reports from the internet. Nothing special, but a fascinating subject.

Fun read, and the book's accounts are fascinating and definitely match what I've experienced and have heard from others.

AI slop. Full of AI "art". I wouldn't have purchased had I initially known this - nowhere on the digital book description did I see any acknowledgement that AI was used - however, it is confirmed in the physical book.

What a waste of earth's resources to make this rubbish...not to mention the theft of actual real people's art. Would give it zero stars if I could for absolute garbage and trickery. Shame on you.

Not very well-written and contains some very dubious claims about the properties of DMT. The redeeming qualities for me are the art included within (the human-made art, not the dumb AI art) and the many collected trip reports from experiences with the various entities. If you think the book will be worth it to you for those reasons alone, then I recommend it. Otherwise, there are probably better places to look for info on DMT...
