I continue to love this series more with every volume. I adore the relationship between the two main characters. They are so perfect for each other, I can't stand it. The story is also slowly yet carefully building up and expanding outward to include the Port Town near the village as Asuta decides to open a food stall. I definitely recommend this series to those who want a slice of life isekai without the usual trappings of OP lead, super powers, saving the world from a demon lord, or what have you.
It might seem kind of slow, but it's really fascinating to see the gradual changes and bonds Asuta builds over time with the people of the Forest's Edge. It's also interesting to see better relationships gradually develop between the various people of this world all because of this one kid and his food.
