To escape his boring job Chris Fawcett decides to become a private detective. This leads him into helping secretly remove gold bullion from England to an uninhabited island. He is given a new identity while involved in this and discovers that the man he is to impersonate is a half-brother he never knew he had. They get together to try and resolve the mystery surrounding the gold and Chris’s search for the truth results in him fighting life threatening situations and a desperate struggle to save his life. It begins to look like they have no choice but to eliminate the man determined to take the gold himself and disappear.
