This was a quick and fun read. It did a good job of introducing us to the family. Though, because of the length, there are parts of the story that have less detail than I want. Also, the copy I read had a large number of continuity errors which I found quite distracting. However, I’m curious to see where the author will go from here.

A Love Story With Suspense!

"My Unforgettable Billionaire Bodyguard" is a Sweet Friends to Lovers romantic short story written by Desiree Tanner. This is either the prequel of first story in the series about the Johnson family. This particular story is about Jace Johnson, a bodyguard hired to protect a young artist, a young woman Jace has known since childhood, Ainsley Waters. The story starts off when Jace saves Ainsley's life at her art exhibit. The bad guy gets away and tries several times to kill Ainsley, but Jace saves her more than once. Will they find out who the bad guy is and why he wants to kill Ainsley. I rated this story on the story alone and gave it 5 stars.

This was a super quick read with a happy ending.

Jace is hired as a bodyguard for an up and coming artist, Ainsley Waters. When she is almost killed by a falling chandelier at her opening, Jace steps in to save her. But, Ainsley knows Jace from her childhood. He is her brother's best friend and she is not having him protect her. But, when the stalker tries again and again to kill her, she knows she can trust Jace to keep her safe. Will she be able to survive the stalker or the heart that Jace is likely to steal?

This story was sweet and clean and a fun quick read. The characters were interesting and I hope to read more from this author.

A quick read at only forty six pages, MY UNFORGETTABLE BILLIONAIRE BODYGUARD by Desiree Tanner, lacked depth to the characters and story. We are introduced to Ainsley and Jace who have a history from their childhood. But I felt like we just scratched the surface of this moment in time event. We didn’t get the context of where the story came from or where it was going other than to a quick happily ever after. It was hard for me to connect with or even feel anything for the characters.
Disappointed since it wasn’t really an introduction to the Johnson family.

I gave it 2.5 stars but rounded to 3 stars here and on other sites.

Their Long Road to a Relationship -
Jace had been in love with Ainsley for years, but he never pursued it because her older brother was his best friend and she was young when it started. However, everything changed after he saved her from her stalker’s attempt on her life and they spent time in close proximity. Jace realised Ainsley reciprocated his feelings, so his respect for his friendship led him to seek permission, so he could get a chance at the happiness he craved with Ainsley. This was a short and deeply touching romance story, that dealt with a daunting issue, but ended in a happy note.

A clean, quick story about an artist, Ainsley and her brother's friend, Jace whom she has known since school. Her PA hires his security company to protect her as she has been receiving death threats. The situation escalates when she is nearly killed by a falling chandelier at her art showing.
Jace will protect her with his life as he has much deeper feelings for her, than she's aware of. The story is quite fast paced and interesting but it ended very abruptly. This book needs an epilogue to tie up their story properly.

A little too short

Very short, second chance, brother best friend. He’s her bodyguard when she has a stalker getting increasingly bold and dangerous. Because it’s so short there is little depth and fleshing out of characters. Also the brother’s name is John but a Stanley keeps getting thrown in (confusing much?). At the end there’s an unexpected bombshell that’s thrown in with no hints of anything before, that Jace was afraid might be a dealbreaker, again it’s a casualty of such a short story. Clean.

This was a sweet story of two people who had always had a crush on each other. But, being that he was her older brother, John’s (or is it Stanley's not sure the author knows either because, throughout the short story, she kept bouncing back between names) best friend. Otherwise, this was a good story. Well, thought out, and the way Jordan solves the case is brilliant, and with Ainsley being an Artist it was fitting.

Ainsley, an artist, needs protection from an unknown threat. Her friend's brother Jace steps up to be that protector when needed. Strong attraction, good storyline, mystery, and chemistry between artist and her bodyguard. Enjoyable read for me---clean, closed door romance. I have enjoyed reading Desiree's books already!

Enjoyed the story and expressive details. Before you really get involved, the story ends with a quick climax. Good story that could last a bit longer
