How to Talk to a Yankee Fan -- 2007 Edition

Rate this book
More humorous than acerbic, How to Talk to a Yankee Fan is a tongue-in-cheek primer of Yankee discourse; a psychology examination of baseball fandom peppered with fun facts, frivolous historical accounts, and comical illustrations. If you've ever been forced to listen to a Yankee fan's insufferable ranting and incessant blathering, then this book is your tool for striking back. After the Yankees were eliminated from the playoffs last year, the New York Times proclaimed it wasn't the team that needed to be overhauled – it was the fans. So lets get started.

Not just for New Englanders, this is a fun book with wide spread appeal. Manages to pinpoint exactly the superior elitist attitude and "whatever it takes to win" philosophy so many of us abhor. Lots of excellent comebacks for those of us who must mix with these people on a regular basis.
