Torrin Walker has become a Manhattan kingpin. . . and the only thing he wants is Aria King by his side once more. . . .
ARIA KING
Exiled and destroyed… that’s how I left Manhattan.
Almost a year later I’m numbed by the betrayal of leaving Torrin Walker.
All feels lost…Until I’m called to go back to Manhattan… by my father.
It’s exhilarating and terrifying.
Torrin’s presence plunges me back into the darkness of Manhattan’s criminal underworld.
This world is laced with danger that fails to deter me from the man I love.
I’m drawn to Torrin by a force bigger than both of us.
But a tangled web of deceit threatens to tear our happily ever after to shreds.
The liars and manipulators who think they are pulling the strings are no match for him.
Torrin is stronger, colder, more dangerous and cunning…
Our day has come.
TORRIN WALKER
Aria King returns and I can’t stop myself from savagely pulling her back into my life.
I selfishly take her into my arms, for there’s no one else who can fill the void.
I wanted to destroy her. Hate her. Forget her.
All things I was never capable of.
My pregnant fiancee and thriving criminal empire?
Mere distractions compared to my need for Aria.
Deadly blackmail? Predators in the shadows?
None of it matters.
It's Aria who fills my veins with urgency and determination.
She lights up my life with hope I never had before.
I’ll destroy whatever and whoever to make sure that we are the only two left standing.
For Aria is my heart and soul. My endgame.

Holy! The action just kept going. Torrin and Aria had to work so hard for the HEA, but reading everything that they had to work through to get there was well worth the ride! I hope we see other books in this world, would love to see Isla and Levi’s story, and learn more about Malachi and Declan!
"I love ye', Aria. I love ye', and I don't know how I got so far from where I wanted to be. I betrayed ye' in the worst way, yet here ye' are, still supportin' me, despite everything."
"Aria, please, don't leave me." And then, in a lower voice: "I need ye' to stay with me, Aria. Promise me," he says to me.
If Torrin isn't the most romantic Irish mobster, I swear! Torrin is the epitome of growth in Exile, the second book in the Violent Delights Duet. We ended book one, Savior, on a very sour note. Torrin is miserable. So miserable in fact that he overindulges in his favorite alcoholic beverage and finds comfort in the woman his mother had wished him to wed back in Belfast, Bria Ryan. Not only does said drunken one night stand result in an unwanted pregnancy, Torrin feels obligated to marry Bria. Talk about one hot mess Torrin has made out of his life. Among all this chaos, Torrin is still madly in love with Aria. Finding your one true love will make you do wild things...like stalk the tabloids for her pictures, follow her life through the tabloids and entertainment TV, and keeping tabs on her best friend. He may be engaged to Bria, but Torrin's heart still belongs to Aria.
Aria ran, and she ran as far as she possibly could out of New York to save Torrin's life, even though it was breaking her heart and his. During her time away, she spices up her life with parties by night and yachts by day. Aria and her best friend, Isla, truly indulge in living the rich life while floating their way about the world on Isla's yacht. Aria is approached by Malachy, one of Torrin's cousins out of Belfast, about her father, while living her best life. Malachy offers her the opportunity to meet her father...back in New York. Aria, who has always been curious about who her father is, decides she'd like to meet him and possibly form a relationship with him. To her surprise, her father is Levi Abbott, a very close friend of Torrin Walker and the next possible presidential candidate. Nothing takes Aria more by surprise than running into Torrin at a benefit she's attending with her father. Torrin defends her honor, again, and gives Aria emotional whiplash.
Exile will take you on one hell of a rollercoaster. Not just emotionally but in a mindfuck, too. Is Torrin's fiance truly in love with him and pregnant and just a pawn within the Irish mafia, or is she a conniving woman with an end goal in helping her father infiltrate the Walker clan? Is Carmine making moves to take back his empire, or has Carmine accepted that Aria is not and has never truly been his? Are Carmine and Torrin able to put their family histories together and discover the truth between the Morettis and the Walkers? Will Levi and Aria fall easily into the father/daughter relationship, or will things be a little awkward considering her history with Carmine and relationship with Torrin? Does Isla have a secret boo? Is Jax really who he proclaims to be? I could keep going on...this book had me clutching my pearls! The spicy scenes were hotter than Savior. How is that even possible?!?! The crime world really comes to a head in Exile, and Aria has no problem jumping into the mob life, she's been so desperate to run from, head first. Torrin realizes his true feelings and realizes that he has a lot of making up to do. Aria discovers her worth as a woman and human being, and she's not taking anything less than from Torrin when it comes to his groveling. Isla cracks her good girl image. You'll fall in love with Malachy and want a book for him, too. You'll continue to grieve over the loss of Liam in Savior because he was such a positive force for Torrin and Aria. You'll hate Enya and Bria and Augustus, but you're heart will be completely broken towards the end for one of these three characters - be prepared with tissues. Although Torrin and Aria get their happy ever after in Exile, the road to getting there is nothing short of blood, gore, heartbreak, tears, and more. You will end this duet fully satisfied with Torrin and Aria's ending but dying for the stories of others because Kaya Darke has one hell of a way of building side character's stories into a little main side piece and leaving you drooling for more.
This is the 2nd book in the Violent Delights Duet featuring the epic conclusion to Torrin and Aria's steamy, dark, complicated, emotional rollercoaster of a romance. This book grabs your attention from the very beginning right up until the end trying to process the emotional journey we were taken on. Torrin and Aria have been apart for awhile now and Aria still feels destroyed by his betrayal and being forced to leave Manhattan. Aria spends all of her time with her best-friend Isla on her yacht partying at night and lounging around during the day. Isla and Aria are absolutely living their best version of a rich life but Aria's heart is still broken. Then Aria gets called back to Manhattan by her father which places her back in Torrin's orbit. However there are forces at work who are lying, manipulating, and trying to pull the strings between Torrin and Aria. Will they succeed or will Torrin who is colder, cunning, dangerous, and stronger beat them at their game so that he and Aria get their HEA? You really need to read the epic conclusion to Torrin and Aria's steamy, dark, complicated, emotional rollercoaster of a romance full of betrayal, lies, passion, secrets, and violence to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

This is the continuation of the story of Aria and Torrin. Aria has left Torrin (to protect him) and Torrin is MISERABLE. During his misery, Aria is living it up with her best friend Isla and has been photographed with Jax which has made Torrin even more miserable. In his misery, he falls back on the one thing he can indulge in – alcohol. Only this time, it might have gotten him into some trouble he didn’t want – knocking up Bria. He’ll marry Bria to keep the alliance with her father, but he has told her it won’t be a loving marriage as he is still in love with Aria.
When is called back to Manhattan by her father, she in back in area as Torrin. Will this be the chance for them to make up or will the people who are manipulating, lying and forcing Aria and Torrin to bend to their will keep them from having their HEA? Secrets are revealed, deception and dishonesty are plenty. Who can Aria and Torrin trust? This has been nothing short of one rollercoaster of a ride!

I binged it within 6 hours and it did not disappoint at all! Kaya has a beautiful way of portraying real emotions that is shown in her writing ability. Just like Savior, this book had me on a chaotic emotional rollercoaster. I laughed, cried, was on the edge of my seat and all over the place. She did justice with Torrin and Aria’s complicated love story. I loved that she wrote two imperfect main characters that has a lot of flaws and shown beautiful character development and wrote them a love story with an HEA that makes sense with them. Torrin is my new book boyfriend. He fell hard for her first, protected her and really validated her feelings. Even though they were both using each other for ulterior motives, they ended up being end game. LOVE THAT! This duet was a wild ride, but I loved it so much! Kaya Darke, you have a forever fan. Please write more mafia books in the future!
Exile is the Book 2 in the Violent Delights Series a Mafia Romance. Kaya Darke is a exceptionally talented author. This is the conclusion of Torrin Walker and Aria King's story. Exile held my attention and kept me glued to the pages. This is an exciting read with twists and turns. Torrin and Aria had their own faults, but they grew so much together. Aria wanted to get out of the crime family, but instead ends in another. Torrin only wanted to protect Aria and keep her safe. This book is full of danger, violence, betrayal, secrets, lies, and of course steamy scenes. I enjoyed this series and the characters.

"It’s as if our souls have been bound from the beginning of time, destined to find each other through the darkest of storms."
Exile is book 2 in the Violent Delights duet and the conclusion of Torrin and Arias story. My gosh this story! From the very beginning to the very end this author has kept me in a constant state of emotion in some capacity. Torrin and Aria doesn't have an easy path by any means but this author takes us on a heightened journey of chaos, lies, betrayal, secrets, tragedy and the most palpable, intense love we could imagine. Violent Delights is an absolute must read duet. You definitely won't regret it.
"My love for her burns like a wildfire within me, irrational in its intensity yet undeniable in its depth."
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.
Exile wraps up the Violent Delights duet by Kaya Darke. Book 2 had me turning pages. I was pulled in by book one. However in book 2, this story and action really launched. I was undecided about the couple in some parts of book 1. Their relationship often seemed toxic. Exile felt like a growth (growing together) for Torrin and Aria.
Please take the trigger warnings seriously. There are quite a few difficult things covered but if you can hang through it, the story develops into a romance worth the wait. I enjoyed Kaya Darke and will definitely pick up future books.
I absolutely devoured this book just like i did the first one. Torrin is the book boyfriend we all deserve 🫠. All the wrist and turns made the book one of the best books I’ve read this year. Kaya Darke has done it again. Aria and Torrin fought to be together from the very beginning I’m so happy they got their HEA. Without spoiling it to much you have got to read this phenomenal book.
“As hard as loving you is, Aria,” I murmur. “Trying not to love you is even harder.”
I will forever swoon when ever i read this he is just the best. Now if i could just get my husband to talk to me like that. ☺️☺️☺️
Aria walked away to save Torrins life and this book comes in a year later. Apparently a year of pain and aching by both but Torrin has made even a bigger mess of things.
Secrets Lies Conspiracies A love that seems to be able to withstand everything …. But can it reall?
A new family found… A mom who is conniving …
So much heartache again in this one … so so much heartache.
I’m kinda surprised we where able to get our happily ever after.

I really enjoyed this second book about Aria & Torrin, it picks up a little while after the events of book 1. Seeing them struggle without each other and then seeing them come back together really showed how much they love each other. It was great to see them dealing with the obstacles meant to keep them apart together, it allowed us to see just how deep their love goes. I also loved that the chemistry between them was just as sizzling, if not more, than I remember. Brilliant read that has more twists and turns than I ever expected.
Intense, emotional and dark this second part of the story is exciting and packed full of action. Torrin and Aria have been separated and played like pawns in a chess game. As soon as you start this book you will be entranced and not want to put it down. There is so much going on that you will enjoy every moment even when you are feeling every emotion.

This is the second book in the Violent Delights Duet. Love Aria and Torrin. Loved all the secondary characters. The suspense and twist and turns kept me hooked. Even though I haven't read the first book I still found this to be an enjoyable read. Highly recommend reading this book. I look forward to reading the first book in the duet.

This is the second part and conclusion to Torrin and Aria’s duet. This is a well written story which is dark, raw, gritty, action packed, and an emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, suspense, danger, intrigue, betrayal, manipulation, deceit, tension, secrets, violence, heartbreak, and love, which leads to a steamy addictive page turner. Seriously, every SINGLE page is filled with action, and so many twists and turns it'll make your heart race! This series is hands down one of the best I have ever read. I absolutely love the main characters and am so happy with how this wrapped up with a HEA! This will definitely be a reread for me. I definitely highly recommend it!
I read this sooo fast not because it was short or easy to forget but because I LITERALLY could NOT STOP! Awesome characters and a storyline that is palpably real as it unfolds. Every twist and turn was authentic and so so well executed! One of the best reads this year for me! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.

This is the second book in the "Violent Delights" duet. This book had me in the biggest emotional Rollercoaster that I have been on in a while. So much happens in this book. So many twists , turns, and bad decisions. But in the end all the bad decisions still can't win out to love. Love will always conquer all. This duet is definitely a must read.
Great book! This is the 2nd book in the series. This is the continuation at Aria and Torrin’s story. A lot of things were explained in this book. Aria left Torrin to protect him and things finally came to light as to why. This was really good. I don’t want to spoil this but I loved how it all played out. I will definitely read more from Kaya.
Wow, what a conclusion to Aria and Torrin’s story, I was not disappointed and really enjoyed the second book in this duet. The writing was a lot more consistent and at no point whilst reading did I feel like I had missed something. Again, the plot and the character development were brilliantly written and I felt like I was hanging on by a thread at certain points in the book. I’m also really glad that when Aria returned it wasn’t all I hate you and I’m going to kill you…while I like a good true enemies to lovers trope, I’m glad this wasn’t that. It was refreshing for it to be slightly different. Would recommend!
Torrin and Arias epic conclusion forbtheir duet with suspense desires drama action and more the story has you hooked with well developed and chemestry sizzling characters.

This is the continuation of Aria and Torrin story. This book was better than the first book was. Exile takes you on one crazy rollercoaster ride of secrets, lies, emotions, conspiracies and action. This one is dark and steamy and very complicated.
Please make sure you read the trigger warning! This book is going to be everything listed and more. If you have a mafia dark romance passion this is your book.
A great conclusion to this duet. Aria and Torrin were always meant to be together and together they have remained. It's taken trials and tribulations to get there but they have.
Small time gap between books. This book was really quick to get into action. I love the banter between aria and torrin. Definitely an emotional rollercoaster.
