I lived with one foot on the ground and one in the grave. It’s expected when you’re the enforcer of a club like Satan’s Fury. Death was always at your heels. Waiting. Watching. Tormenting. Death could come for me. I didn’t care. My life was nothing without my brothers. So, I did whatever it took to protect them. I waited. I watched. I tormented, tortured, and executed. And in the end, the trail of blood led me to her. She and her young daughter had fallen on hard times. I had a hand in that, so I offered them a place to stay. It was supposed to be temporary. But when they turned my world upside down, there was no going back. Take a foul-mouthed, protective biker and a beautiful damsel in distress, throw in a couple strippers, a show down with a ruthless gang, an adorable daughter, some tattoos and booboos, a run in with the cartel, and brothers who always have your back, and you have Grim-- L. Wilder's version of Beauty and the Beast.

This is a full-length, standalone novel that is intended for mature audiences only. Contains no cheating and a swoon-worthy HEA.

Oh my! This is an amazing start to a new series that I could not put down. Grim is protective, an alpha, grumpy, but that heart! I really enjoyed his pull to Jenna and her daughter. That protective side came out strong. Jenna is a strong character, easily lovable, and a great mom to little Luna. I loved everything about this read. It has characters that I am loving and more that I can't wait to get to know more about. There's also this great swirl of danger and suspense. The story flows, pulled me in, and works well. I'm ready for more!

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I liked this book but it dragged at the end. A lot of it was focused on the mundane routines of life… probably should have spent more time on character development than a pla by play of a grocery store run. I still don’t know how old Grim was. He rescues Jenna and her daughter when he avenges the death of a friend. He takes them into his home and they soon become a couple. Low angst and I finished it with some skimming here and there.

In 'Grim,' author L. Wilder crafts a gritty, hot, and fast-paced heart pounding storyline that sets the stage for the first book in the Satans Fury MC - Little Rock' series.

In this sizzling age-gap romance, the Queen of the MC genre delivers a fast-paced narrative that will keep you on the edge of your seat, gripping the handlebars as the tension mounts.

As Single mom Jeanna, and delightful little Luna unexpectedly captures Grim's heart, they are unwittingly drawn into a world where passion and danger collide. Jeanna brings a tender authenticity to the story, reminding us of the power of family and the lengths we'll go to protect those we love. With every turn of the page, L Wilder masterfully builds the chemistry between Grim and Jeanna, immersing readers in a whirlwind romance that is as heartwarming as it is intense. Add in the danger the club finds themselves which at times with brutal consequences makes Grim a testament to Ms Wilder's skill as a MC storyteller. With tissues at the ready and hearts open wide, readers are sure to be swept away by this 5-star start to the series."

I was a little nervous I wasn’t going to like the character Grim. His first interaction with a woman didn’t really give me the warm and fuzzies, but he truly does redeem himself. He becomes the caretaker and the provided without batting an eye and doesn’t even realize how quickly he come to care for Jenna and her daughter, Luna.
I love a good single mama story and Jenna and Luna do not disappoint! I greatly enjoyed these two from the very beginning. Jenna is a strong character who has just had a rough go at life. Doesn’t help that her brother refused to help her without making her do something awful.
I’m really looking forward to more stories in this series especially a certain blond guy. :)

I absolutely any of the books of Satan’s Fury!! When I start reading any of this series, it’s non stop. This is the start of a new chapter and it did not disappoint! Be ready for more drama, twists and turns. Crow is the enforcer so he’s always been on walked knowing that things could end at any time.
When he meets Jenna, who is a single mother, trying to do good for her daughter, Grim wants to be there for them. Jenna is in trouble bc of her brothers dealings. And this is where things start getting more interesting! A must read!

This is the first book in a new series by L. Wilder. Grim is a tough, scary biker who has lived through a terrible childhood. Jenna is a single mother trying to make ends meet for her and her daughter, Luna. Grim’s protective side appears when he offers Jenna and Luna a place to live and a job. They both begin to show feelings for each other. Can it be love? But, enemies from Jenna’s brothers past appear. Can Grim save both of his girls? The relationship between Grim and Jenna’s daughter made my heart melt. I loved this sweet love story with a little dark in it. Can’t wait for the next one!

Grim and Jenna

Grim was the enforcer for Satan’s Fury MC which was perfect for a man like him. Jenna has had hard life especially where her brother is concerned but is a great mom to her daughter Luna. The connection between Jenna and Grim was all encompassing.

I always love the bad boy alpha biker who finally gives his heart up. This is a terrific start to the new Satan’s Fury MC Little Rock series. This is definitely a book you want to get your hands on.

Grim is Book 1 in the Satan's Fury - Little Rock Series.
Grim lives and breathes for his MC family. He doesn't get attached, but when he finds Jenna & her daughter during a job he offers them a helping hand.
Jenna is a single mom to Luna. She had a bad childhood and is now living with her delinquent brother.
And she does whatever she can to provide for herself and Luna.
When she meets Grim & the MC she is scared but will do whatever she can to keep her daughter happy & safe.
This was an exciting read, full of some surprises, twists & turns.

I thought this was a great first book in this new series. Jenna is a strong independent single mom trying to provide the life for her daughter she never had. But sadly her brothers business puts her in a tight spot. Luckily for her she meets Grim. Who ends up taking them in and helping them out. But what he didn’t plan to do is fall for the single mom. Things definitely get a little bumpy but it’s nothing the Satan’s Fury MC can’t handle.
This book has just the right amount of angst, love and sadness. I am looking forward to the next book in this series

Grim was the first book in L Wilder’s Satan’s Fury MC Little Rock. It was a spin off but could be read as a stand a lone.

Grim was the quintessential MC suspenseful and steamy storyline. I’ve always enjoyed this author and Grim did not disappoint. Another success for Satan’s Fury MC fans!

Grim meets Jenna and her daughter, Luna, when he is done doing a job for the Club. He decides to take them in instead of letting them live on the streets. He leaves them in the care of Skid, who is a prospect for the Club. Skid takes a liking to Jenna and Luna and goes above and beyond to make sure they're comfortable. Jenna doesn't know anything about Grim, other than he stepped up when her own family hasn't. He didn't exactly have the best first impression when he came home and found that Jenna had changed some things in the house. Things smooth out after that and he finally gets it in his head that they could work out. There is some drama but nothing out of the norm in these books. It was a quick, easy read. I will say that I did feel at points like I was dropped into the middle of Grim's life without much backstory. I would have liked to know more about his past.

Hate to be a bitch here but wtf is this? These have to be the flattest characters I’ve maybe ever read. There is no emotion. No internal reaction by them when we’re in their heads. She is literally about to be assaulted and it’s just quote after quote with no inner-thoughts mixed in. That creates lifeless characters.

The cover is soooo good but this guy I’m reading about is boring and unexceptional and, you guessed it, lifeless and flat.

DNF at 57%. Could not care less about this story or where it’s going.

I always love this author’s MC worlds… having said that she has upped her game with this one. It starts off gritty and stays true to that narrative for most of the book. Grim is a true MC’er. He is dark, dangerous, and very naughty but when you become part of his people, his protection knows no bounds. I can’t help it, I always love me a good bad boy though I am not sure boy is the right term considering the age difference that is eluded to in this book. Yum.

Jenna is an amazing single mom and I love her little girl. Jenna has had life knock her down a few times. She has the misfortune of being born into a HORRIBLE family and has been let down and taken advantage of numerous times. Plan to hate her brother. Grrr. The part of the book where she talks about loosing her daughter’s dad has me welling up. You see her living in a poverty ridden and criminal element that is all around her and she is just trying to get out while still protecting her daughter. When Grim steps in plan for some swoon worthy moments. Wink.

This book is twisty and turny, taking you down a path that has you guessing what’s next. It has some awesome surprises along the way especially if you like the blended family aspect. I wasn’t expecting a certain revelation… no I won’t say more other than EEEKKKK. HAHA.

This book is character rich which is something else I love cause that means I see future storylines coming my way. Double eek. Happy Reading Everyone!

New series through this new MC chapter! After getting to know Beckett in the previous series and MC chapter, I was excited that we were going to get to know this group and they started with a bang with Grim! Taking Beckett’s decisions as his own, Grim is determined to avenge him, and in the process, he meets Jenna, and his world is forever changed. Jenna has had a rough go of things and is a single mother desperate to get away from her brother because of the life decisions he’s made. As fate would have it, as she’s getting caught trying to leave, Grim and the MC attack, saving her and her daughter and giving her the chance she needs, and when her life is in danger yet again, Grim comes to the rescue and his true feelings prevail. I loved these two and their journey to love and what they deserve, and I love how realistic the ending is when Jenna gives Grim some big news. I can’t wait to see who’s next in this MC’s chapter and get to know these guys!

Book one in the Satan's Fury MC series . Grim is enforcer for the club. His mission to watch over the President son. When he gets killed Grim is ready to kill the one person responsible for. When he goes to a house to get some leads. He meets Jenna and her little girl. She’s innocent in all this. When he knows she’s at her worst he lets her stay at his place. Jenna had to live with her brother. She had nowhere to go. He’s no longer her brother but someone she fears. Now she gets a helping hand from the big bad man. Both broken and lost. She makes it really hard for Grim not to want her. She’s young and a single mother she needs someone her own age. Someone without so much darkness. Jenna wants so much for Grim to like her but he won’t make a move till he sees her smiling around some guy. That gets him sees red. He has to decide to claim her or walk away. Wow good way to start a new series.

Loved this book!

I think some motorcycle romance can feel over the top, and even though it’s fictional it makes it feel unrealistic. Something about this book felt real to me. The characters and the problems they ran into. I also really liked their relationship quite a bit. The grief was palpable and I am really excited to read more of this series in the future.

Woohoo!! A new chapter for the Satan’s Fury MC! Grim’s whole demeanor starts to change when he meets Jenna and Luna. There is something about their situation that unfreezes his steely heart. Jenna will do whatever she has to do to protect little Luna. Grim is the enforcer for the MC so when he saves Jenna and gives her and Luna a place to stay that seals his fate. When a threat from their past puts Luna in danger Grim and his MC rally, will they be enough?

Well a new chapter of Fury out of Little Rock , Arkansas is a little more gritty. Things started out with a big shocking bang. It took a a while for this new chapter to grow on me just like any new series you have to let them grab you.

Grimm is the enforcer of the club a little rough around the edges but with a heart of gold.

Jenna is a down on her luck mother caught in the wrong place. I fell in love with Jenna and Luna from the start.

A whole new set of alpha MC dudes to fall in love with. This is just the beginning.

Grim, the enforcer of Satan's fury MC, meets Jenna and her daughter Luna while completing a job for the club. Jenna, a single mom, is in a tough spot and has no place to go. So Grim, leaves both of them at his house with Skid, a club prospect, who would keep an eye on them. It was just supposed to be for a couple of days till things tided over for them but...well things changed – slowly but surely.

my thoughts.
This was a quick, easy read for me. But I didn't feel much attachment for the characters because I felt Jenna went from one bad situation to the next and she held on to Grim, as he saved her from her current predicament. And I'm not fully there for why Grim liked Jenna, cause Jenna was decribed as a stunner and natural beauty but could sass back and was strong. (Are you really telling me he never met a woman like this before? Maybe not. But idk I'm not buying it).
There were some sweet moments and the beginning was not my fav it felt like I was dropped in the middle of a book,I had no idea about. But overall, it was okay.

Jenna's reason for liking Grim was just FUNNY to me:
"I was drawn to the darkness in Grim. I had a similar darkness inside of me, and somewhere deep inside, there was a piece of me that wondered if we could help each other find the light."

(these kind of explanations all make me *roll my eyes*, at the idioticy)

I liked this scene when he told her his actually name:
“Lawson.”
“What?”
“Call me Lawson.”
I turned to face him, and his longing expression tugged at my heart. “When it’s just you and me and the kid, it’s Lawson.”

I love how Lawson a.k.a Grim, doted on Luna it was so sweet:
"A smile tugged at the corner of my lips when I walked in and found Lawson sprawled out in his recliner with Luna lying back on his chest. She was completely engrossed in her TV show while he was taking a snooze."

Well compared to the life Jenna lives before Lawson, I'm happy she ended up with him!

"You're everything, and don't ever let anyone make you think different." - Grim

I'm so excited that L. Wilder is giving us more Satan's Fury MC this year with a new chapter, Little Rock. This one is an age-gap damsel in distress insta-lust story between two single parents. And it was not an easy read that's for sure. It even got me tearing up in the beginning because of what happened.
Grim is the enforcer for the Little Rock chapter and we first met him in Rooster. That is where this book starts. Preacher, Grim's prez, sent him to Washington to bring Beckett home. It was Christmas time and Beckett needed to spend it with his family whether he was ready to go home or not. That decision had consequences nobody thought about beforehand and after what Beckett does the club is thrown into a war with The Assassins that Preacher was trying to avoid.
Jenna is a single mom who keeps trying to make something of her life for her daughter Luna and every time she's close something happens that drags her back down. Unfortunately for her, she has to rely on her brother Steven who is a member of The Assassins. She makes the choice that she'd be safer living on the street or in her car when Steven's friend threatens Luna and her. Fortunately for her, she doesn't get out of there before the Satan's Fury comes.
Another streak of bad luck hits her but this time things start looking up. When Grim was younger his mom and he were in her position until Gus helped them out and now he's going to pay it forward for Jenna. As much as Grim tries to avoid her even ordering Skid to stay with them he just can't. And again when things are looking up Jenna's hit with another blow courtesy of her brother. Luna gets taken and Grim the club will stop at nothing to get her back.
I just loved this book so much for a new series. Jenna is the sweetest mom with that mama bear instinct that comes out when anyone hurts her daughter. Her inner strength has grown from being a survivor for most of her life so every time something knocks her down she gets back up and keeps pushing forward. Grim is a man who has no interest in love or finding it, he was happy with the club girls or so he thought. Luna was the cutest in the world. She stole my heart just like Grims. And I liked the dynamic between Skid and Grim, it was hilarious and when I learned their connection it all made sense (you'll have to find out for yourself). I don't know who's books next but I'll definitely be reading it!

Good in places, terrible in others. At times I loathed Grim, but he did sort of grow on me.

It started off really badly but thankfully it does get better. There are a lot of mistakes though. One minute it’s night time then it’s daytime, Grim and Jenna have s*x and there’s no mention of a condom. He doesn’t get rid of one, but the next time they do it the author makes sure to point out he put a condom on. One time they have amazing s*x when Jenna is really hungover and feels really poorly. Yeah 😂😂😂 Grim leaves her $400 for shopping, she spends $84 and leaves his change of a $100. That doesn’t add up. They keep saying all the way through the book how old Grim is, and how much older than Jenna he is. HOW OLD IS HE?? It’s really annoying. I’m guessing late forties, but I don’t know, I don’t know Jenna’s age either. Luna at the beginning of the book goes to nursery, it’s not mentioned again and she doesn’t go again. I’ve no idea who all the members of the club are as it only mentions a few.

Grim is the enforcer for the Satan’s Fury Mc. When they are taking out a gang they find Jenna and her four year old daughter Luna in the house. Jenna had been living with her brother who was awful to her and her daughter. Jenna leads a miserable life with her brother who is part of a gang, but she doesn’t have anywhere else to go. Grim grew up with a single mother and takes Jenna and Luna to live in his house. For some bizarre reason Jenna and Luna really like Grim, even though he’s not particularly nice to either of them at the beginning. Eventually he does warm up and starts being nicer. Once they get together on their first ‘date’ he takes Jenna to a STRIP CLUB! 😱🙈 The club owns it and I’m not sure what else they do. It hints they do other stuff but again no explanation!

I didn’t think I’d finish this, as the beginning is awful. In the first few pages Grim is having s*x with a hang around and she’s nervous at first, and he thinks; I grabbed a condom from my wallet and then ditched my jeans. I wasn’t sure if she was ready for me. I didn’t really care. 😡😡😡🤮🤮🤮

Parts were enjoyable.

Welcome to the Little Rock Satan's Fury MC chapter! Get Ready for a WIlder ride as L. Wilder ushers in her new series with Grim holding nothing back!

Grim was exactly what you would expect from a MC enforcer, big and scary with a touch of terrifying. This guy was someone you wanted to avoid at all cost yet underneath it all there were hints of kindness and most importantly the ability to love. Grim 's execution might have been rough around the edges but what you saw was what you got, the good, bad and the ugly making him honest and trustworthy in a harsh way.

Single Mom Jenna could not catch a break. Blessed, or cursed depending on how you looked at it, with outer beauty it was her genuine goodness and loyalty as well as her ability to see beyond the obvious that were her super powers. Jenna's capability in facing her fears when protecting those she loved was admirable and made her someone to easily find appealing.

The angst and simmering build up between Grim and Jenna's attraction was inescapable. With words unsaid this couple spoke volumes. Seeing Grim's tender side with Jenna and those close to him was enlightening and showed that his MC role did not define the man.

Of note Ms. Wilder does child portrayals extremely well. Always age appropriate, L. Wilder's young characters are often a good outlet for her bikers to show their humanity. Luna, Jenna's daughter, added a nice layer to this work and proved a great way to soften everyone she came in contact with.

Reader's can always expect the full package with L.Wilder, from her romance to her edgy suspense component to her immersion into her MC culture. This writer goes dark but always includes moments to give her audience the ability to understand and get behind her characters. Action and nail biting moments keep this author's stories brisk and the romance keeps them swoony. L.Wilder's Grim was a bumpy ride right into readers' hearts!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

It has been a while since I have read a MC book. This is a good one and one that you don't want to miss. This is also an age gap romance and when you combine the two it is a must read for me. This is the story of Jenna, a single mom and Grim, an Enforcer with the Satan's Fury MC. His job is to protect his brother's. To say he takes his job very seriously is an understatement. Jenna is a single mother to her daughter Luna. Luna is adorable and steals the show while stealing your heart. I loved that kid!! When she falls on really hard times and has a brother that is causing a mess. Grim is going to do all he can for her and as time passes protect her and Luna at all cost. He is after all a protector at heart. You don't mess with what this man loves. I'd hate to be the one to try to do it. I loved Grim. He might be the enforcer and a rough and tumbled biker but that man has a heart of pure gold. The way he is with Luna just melts your heart. This is a story of finding your family. Of a love so fierce you'd lay your life down for it. A band of brother's that have some serious things going on with a gang that will have you one the edge of your seat. Filled with twists and turns, I devoured it. You do not want to miss this book.
