A good story with a likeable hero and heroine. Olivia had endured a marriage with a man who treated her badly. Now a widow, she’s determined not to fall in love. Everett had an unhappy childhood and is also determined never to fall in love. But fate intervenes.
The premise for this story intrigued me and it turned out to be an interesting story. The main characters both had sad backstory's so it was lovely to see them progress in a positive way. There are no open door scenes, just scorching kisses, though at times I thought it came close to crossing the line. Beautiful ending, except for the dowager countess. Enjoy!
Another really enjoyable read in this series. The H/h have both had issues in their pasts that have affected their lives and this story is their journey to happy ever after.
I will admit I never read really read books about widows, just never found one worth reading I suppose. Anyways this is a great short story about an abused widow, and how she met the Icy Earl, and thawed his heart Thank you ♥️
A sweet and clean read about an Earl and a young widow who meet at a house party and despite both dealing with past scars, due to their past relationships, meet and slowly find themselves forging a bond. After all misunderstandings and a house party obstacle they find their hea together
