Ava:
On the outside, I am just a single parent teaching high school to feed my three children. On the inside, I have a secret no one I have precognition. I witnessed my husband’s death in my dreams before he died as my confirmation. Now, my ability/curse is showing me, in horrid detail, that I am going to be a victim of an act of terrorism by men who have haunted my dreams for days. What if this dream comes to fruition? How would I survive if it did?

Dalton:
Ava Norris is by far the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and the first woman I’ve wanted since my marriage failed. The problem is that she is directly in harm’s way as we track a known explosives expert who is hired by terrorists to bomb an airport. As the owner of S.O. Security, you would think that my specialty would be swooping in and saving the day. Well, little did I know that all of the military training in the world couldn’t have prepared me for what it takes to keep Ava alive, her children safe, and, most importantly, how to open her heart again.

I am a native Michigander, meaning I have a favorite Great Lake and can point to the exact location of my house on my hand. For the record, Lake Superior owns my heart with all of its majesty and mystery. Camping with my family on its shores is the highlight of my Summer every year.

I love all things caramel, coffee, hockey, shopping, baking, and decorating my house for every season and holiday. I am a very visual-spatial person so everything in my house has a place, but sometimes looks better in a different place. (It drives my husband nuts.) Speaking of my amazingly-talented husband, we live in the house that he built for us, with our three human children, and fuzzy child, Gordie.

If I’m not holed up on my couch attacking the keyboard, you can find me teaching high school English Language Arts and Choir and driving my children everywhere. Seeing as how all three of them are in sports, and hockey season never ends, we are always on the go.

I wouldn’t have it any other way.
