Exploring CQ had me hooked from the beginning to the end. Wilbur Sargunaraj has created a thoughtful and expansive book based on cultural exploration and the harnessing of universal connection. Intuitive, perceptive and observant, the author also shares experiences that include layers of light and delightful humour. This book is a marvellous bridging between cultural diversity through shared human values and mutual respect. The cultural clusters and unconscious bias are fascinating and eye-opening, yet shared in a gentle, humble way. I especially enjoyed the travel-related QR codes sprinkled throughout the book that link to his comedic and absolutely hilarious YT videos (all done in character). Those who love travel, exploring other cultures and enjoy humour will love this book!

Wilbur has a lot of practical advice on building cross-cultural relationships (rather than mere tolerance). Perhaps one of the most helpful bits of advice was that mistakes will be made, but that if we are striving to develop our CQ (cultural intelligence), we can move on from those mistakes to build friendships that transcends cultures. Well written Mr. Sargunaraj!
