Character Backgrounds and Plot Summary

Fated Salvation brings the Sendaxa Chronicles to a close with Grace Cromwell and Tristan Holder finally taking center stage. What I particularly liked about this couple is that their history goes back more than a decade. What I didn’t like was that nothing about Grace made sense in the last book. It was never explained why she and Tristan got divorced, why she married Luthor, what their relationship was about and why she is leading the rebellion. I was happy this book opens years before the events of Scorched Redemption and answers some of those questions. It showed Grace meeting Tristan at her twenty-fifth birthday party. Their attraction is immediate, but their relationship eventually falls apart, leaving them separated by betrayal, tragedy, and circumstances that neither could control.

By the present day, Grace has built herself into someone almost untouchable. She hides her pain behind a cool, regal exterior, while Tristan has become focused on one thing: bringing down Luthor Cromwell, the dictator who has devastated their world. The problem is that Luthor is Grace’s husband, putting these two former lovers on opposite sides of an incredibly complicated situation. Tristan initially becomes so consumed by revenge that he nearly overlooks how much Grace herself has changed. Once they begin working together, however, those old feelings start resurfacing while they race to prevent Luthor from causing even more destruction.

Highlights and Limitations

For me, the biggest strength was getting the missing pieces of Grace and Tristan’s past. Because they had appeared around the edges of the previous books, I was already curious about what had happened between them. Seeing their first meeting and then discovering how far their relationship had fallen made their present-day interactions much more meaningful. I especially enjoyed the contrast between the young Grace who was immediately fascinated by Tristan and the woman who later learned to hide almost everything she was feeling.

I also liked that Tristan’s revenge mission did not magically disappear once he and Grace started reconnecting. He has a very specific reason for wanting Luthor gone, and his determination sometimes gets in the way of seeing what Grace actually needs. Their relationship requires them to rebuild trust while simultaneously fighting a man who has every reason to want them dead. That combination gave the romance some real emotional stakes.

The larger rebellion and final battle also kept the story moving. I enjoyed seeing characters from the previous books return, including Dani and Maverick and Arianna and Dominic, because it made this feel like a true conclusion to the trilogy rather than simply another standalone couple’s story.

One thing that stood out to me, though, was how much emotional history is packed into this book. I appreciated the flashback structure, but there were moments when I was impatient to get back to the present-day conflict because I was so invested in seeing Grace and Tristan finally deal with Luthor. I also noticed the repeated use of “sweetheart” as an endearment. It did not ruin the story for me, but it became noticeable enough that I occasionally wished for a little more variety.

Narration

Ri Paige and Curtis Michael Holland worked really well together throughout the audiobook. I particularly liked having the same narrators carry the entire trilogy because the transition between couples felt natural. Their duet-style performances also made it easy to distinguish the different characters, which was especially helpful with the returning cast.

Ri Paige captured Grace’s controlled exterior while allowing the hurt underneath it to come through, which fit Grace perfectly. Curtis Michael Holland brought the intensity I expected from Tristan, particularly when his desire for revenge collided with his feelings for Grace. Their performances made the romantic tension much easier to appreciate, especially during the scenes where neither character wanted to admit how much the other still mattered.

Final Opinion

I thought Fated Salvation was a satisfying way to finish the Sendaxa Chronicles. Grace and Tristan’s second-chance romance had considerably more history behind it than I initially realized, and I liked finally seeing the story that had been quietly building in the background of the first two books.

What surprised me most was how much Grace’s character affected my reaction to the story. She could have easily become defined by being Luthor’s wife, but instead she has her own strength, pain, motivations, and willingness to fight for a better future. Watching Tristan gradually recognize the woman she has become was one of my favorite parts.

I also appreciated that the ending brought the previous couples back into the story and gave the trilogy a sense of closure. There is romance, revenge, rebellion, danger, and plenty of emotional baggage to work through, but ultimately this felt like Grace and Tristan’s chance to reclaim something they lost years ago. I would definitely recommend listening to the trilogy in order because the pieces introduced in the first two books make much more sense once Grace and Tristan’s full history is revealed.

This is my favourite book of the series. The story of more than 10 years in the making. Grace and Tristan have been in the background, but that might be their edge.

10 years earlier, Grace, a young heiress, met and felt an undeniable attraction to a security officer with a chip on his shoulder. Since then, they have had to face their own personal tragedies oh and the world itself has gone to hell. Now, not only are different people, one married to someone else, and possibly on the wrong side of history. However, with these two, nothing is as it seems.

Can these two get past their personal issues to help save the world. The other main characters return for the final battle, but Luther did not get to where he is by being stupid. Who will survive? Even then, what happens next?

The final book in the Sendaxa Chronicles trilogy, this is Tristan and Grace’s second-chance romance, and the story that gets us right to the heart of the action as our intrepid survivors team up to take down the bad guy and put a stop to their world rapidly devolving into a dystopian nightmare. It’s fast-paced, emotional, romantic and sexy, and I loved this one.

Before their world fell apart, Tristan and Grace were married and madly in love. Their devastating divorce coincided with the rise in power of evil dictator Luthor Cromwell, and they’ve now been apart for ten years. Grace’s life since then has been a complex battle for survival in the midst of danger, and when she is kidnapped, it’s Tristan who dives in to rescue the woman that he still loves.

“You’re my wife, Grace.”
“I
was your wife,” she replied softly.
Frustration entered his expression as he exhaled a slow breath. “You’ll be mine again. Mark my words.”

Oh, I love a second chance romance, and this one is all intensity from the very beginning. You can see that Tristan and Grace still love each other deeply, and as their past is untangled, we come to understand how it all fell apart for them. They both made heartbreakingly difficult decisions, but they did what they thought was best at the time, even if it left them both shattered. My heart ached for them.

“Let me love you, sweetheart.”

They don’t hide their feelings for each other, but they have a lot to work through, and their forced proximity makes them do just that. They open up to each other, they don’t hold back, and from the sweet and tender moments where they hold each other to the hot and heavy moments that bring the steam, I loved seeing these two together and finding their way back to each other.

“If we keep apologizing for the past, we’ll never have a future … And I want a future with you, Grace. God help me, I love you. You’re the only woman I’m ever going to love.”

Their reunion comes at a time when the resistance is coming together to take on Luthor and his army once and for all. Through multiple POVs, we get to see each of the three series couples in the lead up to the big fight, and I enjoyed watching all of the different elements come together as they prepare for battle.

After all the build-up, I confess I was expecting the big finale to be a bit more epic than it was, but we do get to see some action and it’s a satisfying ending to the conflict. And I really liked that there is an epilogue which gives great closure for each of the couples as they get their HEA.

I have really enjoyed this series, and I loved this final book. They are all quick reads that move at a great pace, with action, excitement, and three gorgeous love stories along the way.

Really enjoyable - 4 stars.

This trilogy has taken us on a harrowing ride through a dystopian nation no one wants to see. A greedy person doesn't know when he has enough, enough money, enough power because for him, it would never be enough, and in all that greed of his, he turned the country into something that didn't resemble the United States as we all know it. It had become a country of people dying because they were taking a drug that was promised to be the "Fountain of Youth," only they became addicted to it, and it slowly killed them, which left towns in ruins and children without parents.

In this final book of the trilogy, we are on the edge of our seats to see if Grace Cromwell, the leader's wife, can lead the rebellion along with her ex-husband Tristan Holder and save the people from his dictatorship. But that's not all. OH NO,

If you haven't read the first two books in the series, go grab them now and read them. This is such a great series! I loved it so much. I knew Tristan's story would be the main character in one of the books, but I didn't know he would end up with Grace. Their love story was so good and with all the twists and turns, it was even better than I imagined. These two were always meant to be. This Dystopian series left me wanting more. Actually, Rebecca Hefner did leave it opened for possibly another book or another series, but don't worry, there is an ending to everyone's story which I loved. I enjoyed this book so much. I listened to the audio version and once again, the narrators, Ri Paige and Curtis Michael Holland were fantastic. I highly recommend.

The long awaited finale was a turbulent ending full of secrets, deceit, treacherous and at times violent behaviour, but more than enough steam to take some of the edge off as well as some heart warming surprises. I could cry about how fate interfered with Tristan and Grace. Trust had to be regained, though the love and attraction were very much still there. The end rounds of the series without leaving the reader in the dark what happened to all the main characters unless you wander if Arthur will succumb to craving more power rebuilding the country. What a great read.

So glad I finally got my hands on this book after the cliffhanger that the last one left us on!!

I really felt for these two, they were meant to be together but veared off on different paths. A case of right people, wrong time even though they were madly in love and had a connection. I was rooting for them to succeed in their plans and to restore civilisation. There were a few twists along the way (always expect the unexpected!) A great ending to the series, although I wish we could have more of this world!!Hint hint Rebecca 😉😂

I loved this entire series and would 100% recommend to anyone who likes their dystopian romance with spice 🔥

This is book three and the finale of The Sendaxa Chronicles and sees Grace Cromwell apparently kidnapped by the leader of the rebellion, and her second husband, Luthor Cromwell, trying to get her back. But nothing is quite as it seems. Tristan Holder was a former military man who fell in love with Grace years ago, but her father wouldn’t allow her to see him! They ran away and got married and she was pregnant with their first child, when he deployed overseas against her wishes, telling her it was the only way he could support them because of her father’s interference. That led to their separation and the killing of her father in front of her, and the consequences for her to try and keep herself safe. Her future was changed drastically, and she had to forget about having a happy ever after, as she married Luthor, knowing he would have killed her otherwise to get what he wanted. He is the one that has spread the addictive EverLife drug and tried to stop any antidote being created and distributed. He has forced the creation of a super soldier drug and will form himself a super army to take down the rebellion and anyone else who is against him!

Tristan’s sister Jessica, is one of those addicted to the drug and kept under Luthor’s evil hands, used and thrown to the side, giving her only just enough to keep her strung along. At one point Tristan worked as security for Luthor, hating to see his former wife being pawed by Luthor, whilst also trying to plot to take him down. He has vowed to join the rebellion and do what he can to stop Luthor. Tristan will soon find out who the real leader of the rebellion is and will join them on the final attack on Luthor’s stronghold. The rebel leader has difficult decisions to make and allies to work with, from compounds outside the main cities, some of whom have their own agendas and could be a problem in the near future. Tristan is going to get some shocking news about an event in the past, which could affect how he interacts with Grace, but their past love will also continue to draw them together. They can’t resist the love they once had and which never really went away, no matter how much they may have hated what the other person did and their own reactions to it. They have a second chance at love, but she is now married to the man the rebellion and Tristan want taken down, which could be a stumbling block! Luthor Cromwell will figure out that they are coming, and it will be a difficult but satisfying battle, that will bring justice back to the country and a chance of a cure for the whole world! A new government for the people and salvation for one and all, if the rebellion succeed.

A few hard-hitting losses, but also a shocking surprise revealed in an out of the way cottage, a nice touch of romance finally getting another chance to flourish after difficult past decisions, plus a young boy made to spy on the rebellion finally finding a family. The storyline has a twist at the end, which allows for it to be reopened and taken in another direction. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout, and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Fated Salvation, the thrilling conclusion to Rebecca Hefner’s The Sendaxa Chronicles, delivers everything I hoped for in a dystopian romance finale. With high-stakes action, deep emotional scars, and a love that refuses to fade, this book encapsulates the essence of second chances and the fight for redemption.

Grace Cromwell is a heroine who immediately resonated with me. Her cool, composed exterior hides the depths of pain from a tortured past, but it’s her quiet strength that shines throughout. Grace’s journey from a woman hardened by loss to one ready to restore peace and face her demons is not only powerful but deeply emotional. Her love for Tristan Holder may have been buried under the weight of her past, but it’s clear from the start that their connection is still alive, simmering just beneath the surface.

Tristan is a morally complex, driven hero, consumed by his need for vengeance against Luthor Cromwell. What I loved most about him is how his tunnel vision shifts once he truly sees the woman Grace has become. His struggle between his thirst for justice and the love he still holds for Grace is one of the most compelling aspects of the story. He’s a hero with layers, and Hefner masterfully peels them back as Tristan fights not only for the world’s survival but for the woman he never truly forgot.

The second-chance romance between Grace and Tristan is the heart of Fated Salvation. Their rekindled flame burns brighter with each page, and the tension between their shared history and present circumstances adds depth to their bond. The moments of vulnerability between them, juxtaposed with their fierce determination to save the world, made their relationship feel raw and authentic.

Beyond the romance, Hefner’s world-building and action sequences are gripping. The stakes have never been higher as the rebels face an almost impossible battle to bring down the tyrannical Luthor Cromwell. The urgency in their mission creates an atmosphere of constant tension and suspense, pulling you deeper into the story. With every twist, I found myself rooting harder for Grace and Tristan—not just for their love, but for their shared hope of a better future.

Fated Salvation is the perfect conclusion for fans of dystopian romance who crave complex characters, smokin' hot chemistry, and a thrilling race to save the world. It’s a story of love, loss, and the power of second chances, all set against a backdrop of chaos and destruction. Rebecca Hefner doesn’t just deliver a satisfying end to the series—she leaves a lasting emotional impact, one that will stick with you long after the final page.

🎤 Duet narration by Ri Paige and Curtis Michael Holland
Spice🌶️: 3/5

This was such an exciting, fast-paced ending to the series. It's a slow burn, second chance dystopian romance and the final book in The Sendaxa Chronicles series. With every book in this series, the plot thickens and more secrets are uncovered. The revelations in this book had me reeling.

This book centres around Grace and Tristan, who have been in the background in the previous books. Their story goes back ten years before the events of book and reveals so much about the start of Luthor Cromwell's takeover that surprised me. The first part of the book focuses on their initial love story and the backstory of their connection to Cromwell. Then we get back to the present, just after the epilogue of book 2, and their fight to save the world.

Grace and Tristan’s love story is a turbulent one, as they work through the hurt of what tore them apart and find their way back to each other, with a curveball or two thrown in. They’ve got such great chemistry in the beginning and the intensity of their feelings for each other after all that’s happened shows just how strong their bond is.

This book is more heavily focused on Grace and Tristan’s part in the rebellion, but with the story being told in multi POV, we still get to see Grace, Maverick, Ariana and Dom working through the events of the last book. It was nice to see all the characters tie in together and how their individual contributions benefit the rebellion. I love that this rebellion is driven by strong female characters, they each have different rolls to play, and their men support them, but their leadership is vital to the cause.

Like the previous books, this was performed in duet by Ri Page and Curtis Michael Holland and was a very immersive listening experience. The narrators brought the story to life with their expressive performance. I really enjoyed their different character voices.

This is a great series for fans of post-apocalyptic dystopian stories, with heartwarming steamy romances, complex characters, great worldbuilding and strong female characters.

The time has finally come for the rebellion to take back control, and for Grace to fight alongside the one man she never stopped loving: her ex-husband.

The true brilliance in this final read is that we kick things off, not with a seamless transition from the cliffhanger end scene of book two, but rather we are thrust into the past to witness how these two unlucky lovers came to find each other from opposite sides of the track. It is a past filled with passion, yearning, resilience, but also overwhelming heartbreak. The juxtaposition of the dystopian future we've come to know against these "normal" moments of happiness during a time so familiar to our own makes us stand up and take notice of every conversation, every heated look and every unspoken word between them. We can't help but be drawn into every detail of their all-consuming romance, looking for any potential signal of the devastation which is about to come.

This third novel presented us with everything I could possibly hope for in an exciting conclusion to the trilogy. The couples and story-lines from each of the installments finally converge into one final battle of good against evil. Through every book we have seen another important element to the rebellion, and have discovered that while each is strong in it's own right, only by coming together do they have a united force that stands a chance at winning. The scientists have come together with the soldiers, all of whom must be guided by powerful characters of leadership. Although we've come to meet some incredible characters throughout this series, we've also encountered loss and tragedy, something which makes this ultimate confrontation all the more thrilling as we wonder who will emerge with their life intact when the smoke finally clears.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

That's a wrap, boys and girls! And whew, what a good one, too.

Ms Hefner continues to impress with her dystopian books; I unfortunately couldn't get into her vampire ones, but the previous trilogy and this one? I signed up so fast I left skid marks.

I feel so privileged to have been witness to the journey these characters went on, the story the author wove, and its conclusion. I liked Tristan from the moment he appeared - he's MY kind of moral grey (actually lawful good) character - so seeing him in the past and comparing him to the soldier of today was an experience I'll treasure. He's quicker to forgive than I am, that's for sure too!

I can't put my finger on Grace to find the pulse there which would give me a good connection, however, I can attest that she's written VERY well and believably so, a woman of hopes, fears and determined wit after anyone's heart. No wonder Tristan fell for her, honestly.

It was great catching up with Dani and Arianna too, and there's SO many revelations in this book that'll keep you on your toes through to the end.

And that ending!! My breath froze. So brilliant, so possibly heartbreaking. Love it!

All in all, Ms Hefner did not disappoint with the final entry of this trilogy, and dystopian romance really does remain her strongest point, imo. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for more from her, and if you haven't read The Sendaxa Chronicles yet - what ARE you waiting for? The writing flows beautifully, the characters are awesome, and it's time to save the world. What's not to like?

10/10 recommend.

Overall Story Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 /5)
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ (4/5)
Narration Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐ (5/5)

Review:
I’d been waiting for Grace and Tristan’s book since book one, and it did not disappoint. This was the second-chance romance payoff I was hoping for—emotional, fiery, heartbreaking, and healing all at once. Right from the opening chapters, it’s clear their history runs deep, and seeing that collide with the danger of the final battle against Luthor Cromwell made for a high-stakes ride.
This was the perfect finale. All three couples got their closure, the world was set right (at least as much as it could be), and the epilogue tied everything together in a way that left me satisfied but still wanting a spin-off.

Narration:
This was honestly my favorite performance of the trilogy. Ri Paige captured Grace’s cool, composed exterior while layering in the heartbreak she hides underneath—it felt regal but still raw. Curtis Michael Holland gave Tristan so much grit and emotion, and when his voice broke during the more vulnerable scenes, ouch, my heart. Together, they had incredible chemistry and sold the second-chance tension perfectly.

Would I recommend:
Without hesitation. If you’ve read the first two books, this finale is a must. If you love second-chance romance that’s emotional but also steamy, wrapped up in a dystopian fight for survival, you’ll love this.

I have loved Rebecca Hefner’s Sendaxa Chronicles spicy dystopian romance series from start to finish. Book three is Grace and Tristan’s book and we finally get to see if the resistance leader and the soldier will have a HEA. Okay, it’s a romance, so I have a good feeling about this one, but what I really loved was getting to see their backstory, from when they first met when Grace’s father and Luthor (the evil mastermind of the series) were all twisted up in business dealings and she was the young rich girl and he was working security. Their relationship had lots of twists and turns over the years, including some I didn’t see coming, and I liked how we got to see their personal story play out while seeing the last chapter of the trilogy unfold, where Dani, Ari and the rest of the gang have to defeat Luthor and his army of super soldiers, and find a way to deliver Dani’s antidote to everyone on the planet. I love the interesting conflicts in this series. Dani intends to create a drug that will give humankind more good years of life, and instead creates a terribly addictive drug that destroys the planet. There are difficult human stories at every turn, but those also provide the best chances for redemption, and that has made this one such a rewarding story to read. And the HEAs for multiple characters in this one were fun too. Can’t wait to see what Hefner writes next! 5/5 stars.

Book 3 in the The Sendaxa Chronicles series!

I had to know what happened to the Sendaxa gang and was so excited to receive the ALC of Fated Salvation. This final installment of the series starts by taking us on a 10 year jump back to learn more about the beginnings of Grace and Tristan. It was refreshing to hear more of their story and filled in several knowledge gaps as we dug deeper into the present time world situation.

Of course, the journey to rid the world of an evil dictator is not easy and always filled with twists, turns, and surprises, however in the end, they don't all turn out to be bad.

I loved the journey this series took me on and highly recommend it. The audio is wonderfully done and though each book in the series focused on a different MC pair, I enjoyed having peeks of all throughout the series. Having the same narrators throughout made the transitions between MCs smooth. Both Ri Paige and Curtis Michael Holland were wonderful character voices and did well in the variety of characters.

I enjoyed the first book in this series. The second was good, too, though it started to veer a little into the outlandish by the end. This book, the third and last, was just too much of a soap opera for me. You have Grace, the ex-wife who is secretly plotting to overthrow the evil overlord she married to get revenge on for killing her father. You have Tristan, the ex-husband, plotting to murder the evil overlord for enslaving his sister. Plus you have the characters from the previous books, two sisters who are a brilliant scientist and kick-butt soldier respectively. They create cures and command armies. It was all a bit much for me. I love strong women. Absolutely. But these women became more caricature and less character. And I really tired of everyone giving long expositions. I didn’t need the story repeated to me over and over. The plot was unrealistic and the resolution was cliche. It was all extremely unbelievable. (And I was horrified by what Grace asked a young boy to do during the fighting.) All in all, a series with potential sputtered out and became more farce than dystopian fiction.

FATED SALVATION is the third and final book in The Sendaxa Chronicles. Not only do we get a second-chance romance in Tristan and Grace, but we also catch up with Dani and Maverick, as well as Arianna and Dominic.

There isn't much world-building in this book as you don't need it. You know from the previous books what the end goal is and who the major players are. Instead, the focus is on the characters, Tristan and Grace, as they negotiate a new future from a troubled past. They have a lot of history between them, and also lots of lies. One thing I adored was that neither of them played games. They had no issues telling the other one how they felt and what they hoped for.

Fast-paced and exciting, you get the ending for each of our three couples, as well as an overall one. I loved the open-ending given for one character, giving me my own scenarios as I imagined what the answers might be.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed this book, there was a disconnect that I can't name, so this is a 4.5 star book for me, rounded up and definitely recommended.

Duet narration by Ri Paige and Curtis Michael

This is the 3rd and last book in the Sendaxa Chronicles where we finally get Grace and Tristan’s story. They were married once, before the world changed, and now she’s married to the enemy. Talk about a hum dinger of an obstacle to get to their happy ending. There’s tons of tension between Grace and Tristan, plus so much history to clear up that it moves the story along quite well. These books are all closely connected and should be read in order to fully understand the larger plot connecting them. But this is a stand-alone in regards to being centered on Grace and Tristan’s romance. Dani and Maverick, Dom and Ariana, from books 1 and 2 return to enrich the plot. The larger suspense story spanning the 3 books comes to an end but there are clues that may lead to more books

Ri Paige and Curtis Michael, again, narrate this book as they have the others. I really enjoyed them as a duo through all 3 books. Each portrayed their characters convincingly and showed variety in their voices with the different characters.

Audiobook review: narrated in duet by Ri Paige and Curtis Michael Holland
4 stars for story / 5 stars for performance

This series was so good!! While we are continuing the same storyline, this book concentrates on the relationship between Grace and Tristan, and what a complicated relationship it is. There are so many twists and surprises and emotional ups and downs that will have you in all your feels. If you are a fan of military or dystopian romance, you will not want to miss this one.

As good as the series is and as much as I loved the story, the audiobooks were amazing and really elevated the experience!! I was so impressed, once again, with the performances of both narrators. They gave each of their prospective characters unique voices and personalities. There was no issue keeping track of who was who while the story progressed. Emotions ran high in this one and they came through in spades! The duet style really stands out with these books and helps my brain through the third person in audio!

Thank you Rebecca Hefner and Bookish Bubbly PR for sharing an ALC! Fated Salvation is the third and final book in the Sendaxa Chronicles. We pick right back up from where we left off in book two - the transition to book three was honestly quite seamless and very easy to follow along. The ending of book two had my jaw open in shock with that cliffhanger, and I love how it just picked right back up.

In this book we follow Tristan and Grace’s past relationship. We knew a bit about it in the previous books, but here’s where we really get into the depth of what happened, old feelings, pain, and then we bounce back to the present (and future!).

If you’re looking for a dystopian series with romance, characters who are trying to save the world, then add these to your TBR. My understanding is that these could be read as standalones, but why limit yourself to one when there are THREE?

Thank you again Rebecca and Bookish Bubbly PR for giving me an advanced listener copy! I’m so sad it’s over, but I loved being on this journey and learning more about these characters.

I had been “patiently” waiting for this book, and almost sprained a finger pre-ordering it. I was so excited to read it, it was totally worth the wait, and now I am equally excited for you to read it. It totally lived up to the hype, it was everything I had hoped for and more.

This is Tristan and Grace’s book, and I loved that she did chapters in the past of how Tristan and Grace met, fell madly in love, and how it all fell apart. I just couldn’t get enough of these two, and their sexy and heartfelt storyline. They have my whole heart, and pulled on my heartstrings…even ones I didn’t know I had. All the feels and all the emotions.

Great and fast paced storyline, with some wtaf moments. An epilogue that gives us a glimpse of everyone’s futures, which I loved and appreciated. Great hea, and a fantastic wrap up for this very addicting trilogy.

Once again, I got sucked in immediately into the world destroyed by the dangerous drug and the monstrous villain Luthor.
Tristan and Grace shared a complicated past full of betrayal, but they couldn't deny their strong feelings for each other amidst the war to save humanity. I loved their story.

This book was emotional and full of action. The end was satisfying.
As a series, this one was one of the best I got into this year. It had great world-building and was fast-paced, with interesting characters introduced constantly throughout each next book.

One tiny note I would make to the author: please consider using some other endearment between the characters apart from “sweetheart”. Normally, it's not something I even notice in books, but here, it's almost absurd.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.

Grace Cromwell is a very strong and determined woman. She lives behind a mask of cool, untouchable person. She’s ready to restore peace in the world.

Tristan Holder, the man who had Grace’s heart before the world was destroyed, is determined to get revenge. To get rid of Luthor Cromwell, the evil dictator. He’s determined to help Grace. The two of them need to work together and fight alongside each other for justice, to save what left of their world. I loved their chemistry and passion. They were made for each other.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a second chance, dystopian romance then you’re going to love it.

Hiding in plain sight.
It is always exciting to see what happens in the last book of the trilogy series. This one did not disappoint! I appreciated hearing the story from Grace and Tristan’s perspective. Having heard bits about them in the first two novels, it was satisfying to learn more about them. I also like how the book was divided into three times sections, AND that there were some happy things in the future for all the series characters. In the end, it just made me think about the terrible lure and ultimate corruption absolute power can have over even good people…. Sometimes fiction like this provides insight into the real world which subject to very similar situations and pressures.

Fated Salvation is the finale to the Sendaxa Chronicles adding another impressive series to Hefner’s belt.

This book was the perfect ending for our heroes (and anti-heroes) and their families. Filled with twists (and I mean wow WHAT A TWIST!) and lots of steamy moments, this book was a joy to read. I’m almost sad that it’s over and I have to say goodbye to these characters that I’ve come to love.

Kudos Rebecca on another fantastic book. Your writing always brings me joy and I’m so glad you continue to create such fantastic stories.

With a story of second chance romance immersed within a dystopian world this third book of the Sendaxa chronicles, Fated Salvation, brings the reader along on an emotional journey filled with the intrigue, suspense, personal vulnerabilities, drama, and passion that has been a hallmark of this engaging series.

There is plenty of action and adventure keeping the pace high as leads Grace and Tristan join forces to seek justice in a ravaged world.

Loved the captivating writing and world building that continues to provide immersive reading in another hard to put down story.

This book is exciting and full of action, as well as steam and some sweet emotional moments and surprises. The second book was a cliffhanger, and this book was worth the wait. Although it focuses on Grace and Tristan's relationship, we get to enjoy the previous books' couples again as they all work together to beat Luther Cromwell. Grace and Tristan really suffered at the end of their marriage and it's great to see them get a second chance 10 years later. I loved the epilogue that allowed us to see how all the main characters get their HEAs.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW:

Fated Salvation is book #3 in The Sendaxa Chronicles. This book picks up at the end of book 2 so I'll try not to include too many spoilers. The rebellion against Luther is led by Grace and Tristan while Dani might be forced to stand trial for her part in the drug development. The two sides of good and evil battle it out in this epic end of this thrilling dystopian trilogy. Another binge-worthy listen! Do NOT miss this series!!!

Ri Paige and Curtis Michael Holland returned to deliver another exhilarating narration. These two voice so many characters...it's just amazing. 5/5 stars!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
