I love writing, it's been my dream for many years, and in October of 2013, when my first book went live on Amazon, that dream came true.
Writing love stories that are centered on flawed but lovable characters is my passion. Finding love between people isn't easy, nor should it be. Even in a book, there have to be obstacles for the story to feel real.
I am a mother of three amazing people, and three adorable fur babies. I live in Colorado but love many other places besides my home. One state in particular is New Mexico, the state where I was born has always held a place in my heart.
People and places make my stories what they are. Each character I've written is a part of me in some way. Each place I write is as well. Adventures come in many ways, and each of my stories has taken me on an adventure that I treasure.
Come with me on my adventures and fall in love with my characters, as I have. I promise, you will love the ride.
This second book follows Grey as he is now slave to Jared and then Joshua. Things move quickly with Grey trying to get back to Viggo. Viggo finally gives birth to his child, and cuteness abounds.
I will admit that this book is occasionally a bit over the top but the world that Rain Carrington has created and populated with such interesting characters is just too terrific to not give five stars to. Even the bits that are a bit much are still so well woven into the story that they just work. Starting from where the characters and situations were at the end of the last book things only get more interesting and complicated. Don’t take anything for granted except that it’s a really fun read that is well worth diving into.
The mansion has been destroyed and he now has a new master who he hates more than anything. They all need to find a new home and hopefully he gets a better life than the one he had before. How will it all go? Can he get a better life? See just how it will all go
Book #2 in the BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR duo. This grabbed me with the first paragraph. RAIN CARRINGTON has shown no fear in spreading her wings. Viggo the thousand year old Vampire. Grey the truly immortal genie are crawling from the rubble. Good, Bad and Terribly Ugly these two are put through the wringer. Ali and Eric were exactly what my heart needed. I enjoyed this Book so much. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS INCREDIBLY DIFFERENT PAIR OF BOOKS!!!!!!!!!
I absolutely loved Stigmata and this book jumps straight back in where it ended. Such an interesting world with unique characters and you really feel for Grey when he is taken from the destroyed mission by Jared and Viggo as he comes to terms with his ability to have a child and missing Grey. Loved the characters and story that does have some dark moments but which completely drew me in from book one til the end. I received and arc copy from GRR and this is my honest review.
I think Rain Carrington just became one of my go to authors after reading this continuation of Stigmata!!! It picks off right where we left off and it was EPIC!!! I highly recommend this story, especially if you've read the first. Sorry about the vague review but honestly it's a must read with no spoilers.
* I received an ARC from GRR, this is my open and honest review *
Loved the first book in this series and this one is just as good. The mission is gone and some of our characters are separated and trying to reunite but Carrington has all kinds of twists and turns for them to experience before we get to the end of the book. This one will keep you on the edge of your seat, never let you become complacent that you know where things are going and leave you wonderfully wrung out at the end.
This journey Rain Carrington takes us to is quite shocking. The goods aren´t so good after all and the bads, well, some are badder. The story is solid and it´s well written and edited, but sometimes for me was a bit too much. Some sexy scenes were quite disturbing to me and her world emanates hopelessness and i was not in the best mind frame for it. It roundes perfectly the tale started in Stigmata and watching the big, bad, vampire pregnant was quite something. I recommend this duology.
Mirage picked up right where Stigmata left off and wow, what a ride. The emotional intensity, the high stakes, and the deep, complicated relationships had me hooked from the first page. The destruction of the mission was devastating, but the way the characters held onto hope, love, and survival was so beautifully done.
Be sure to read all warnings before purchasing This is Book two and finale of the duology so if you haven't read Stigmata do so first. This book picks up where the last left off at a very gripping Cliffhanger. I thought the first book had a surprise baddie...whoa did this catch me off guard And wow what a baddie. Pure evil personify. There are so many twists and turns. You won't t want to put this down once you start. The characters are all intriguing as the plots and twists. I'll say this is one of the best vampire or supernatural books since it's not all vampire, that I've read in a while but be prepared its DARK. There is some cute kid moments that lighten it up a little but be warned and check the trigger warnings there is violence and rape. Having said that...dang it's good and I hate this was just a duology and its ended.
