I really enjoyed 103 First Dates: MisMatchDotCom. Frank Lazarus tells his story with honesty, humor, and a surprising amount of heart. What stood out to me most was how real everything felt, from the awkward first dates to the emotional highs and lows of starting over later in life.
The book is funny without trying too hard, but it’s also thoughtful and reflective. Beyond the dating experiences, it’s really a story about resilience, self-discovery, and the courage it takes to open yourself up again after loss and change. Even if you’re not dating, or nowhere near your sixties, the emotions and lessons here are very relatable.
I appreciated how Frank shared each experience candidly, without pretending to have all the answers. It made the journey feel authentic and easy to connect with. This book made me laugh, reflect, and appreciate how complicated (and hopeful) modern relationships can be.
Overall, this was an engaging and heartfelt read, especially for anyone curious about online dating, second chances, or the idea that it’s never too late to hope for love.
