After a catastrophic first summer at his lake house, Bob Hellman hopes to enjoy a pleasant summer after his first year of teaching. A new couple moves in next door, and the fetching wife recruits his family and his clothing-optional neighbor and colleague to audition for a civic theater play. It turns out that there is much drama behind the drama, which leads to one of the cast members being stabbed to death. Bob, once again, must help solve the murder while trying to avoid becoming a suspect himself.
I like all the stories mr. Foster has written. This story is a good as the rest of his stories. My only criticism with this story is there were a few times where the characters being talked about were not the correct characters. The one that sticks out is mixing Bob's next door neighbor Cindy with the ministers wife cheryl. These mix ups did not take away from the overall story, which was a good one. They just stood out and made me reread that section to make sure I didn't miss something.
A fun read, unless you are the victim ... A fun romp as we tag along with Bob a teacher of English and his not quite harem of beautiful women. Set in a lakeside community we would all like to be a part of, on the edge of a small city I would like to keep a little apart from. All it needs is a few 'not beautiful' women and ... a full five-stars
