I wouldnt recommend this book nor read again because i really struggled to get into the book and found it not very enjoyable until the end 20 ish chapters. But the ending was very cute and im just a little disappointed that u have to get through alot of pages to get to the good bits
This started promisingly, but after a while became very repetitive. I usually enjoy the enemies to lovers trope, and it was set up well and had you believing the characters really did dislike one another. However, after the inevitable bad turn and their first reconciliation I found the subsequent relationship roadblocks to be frustrating and unnecessary, and though I liked Eden’s character most of the way through, towards the end she became unlikeable.

A Chiclet book based on pride and prejudice by Jane Austen. When two actors find themselves doing a musical version of this story, they become enemies at first but eventually discover their mutual attraction.
An easy read

3.5* There were times when I found Eden annoying, with her self doubts and ever changing emotions. But I think this is probably a good representation of those that work in the preforming arts. That said it was still very satisfying when Maddox and Liliana were finally brutally honest with her.
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 this book gave me mixed opinions. i loved the pride and prejudice vibes but the title being enemies to lovers i expected more tension but there was little to no tension and wasn’t what i expected. i think i would have enjoyed it more if the title didn’t sell me a dream
