A true triumph! With so many non-fiction books in the cannabis sphere, it’s truly refreshing to finally have an original, fictional series of cannabis love (for the plant and between cannaseurs) in this breakout novel.

Based on the legalization of cannabis, from the medical to recreational market of Las Vegas, the story of Sophia truly captures the lived experiences of the industry world. Written from a true cannabis scope, it touched on everything from the intricacies of the seed-to-sale metrics, meddlesome budtender relations at the retail level, and techniques of cultivation experts in a desert landscape.

It gave a clear understanding of that window in time, seen through the lens of a blossoming love story. An emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end, with hints of loss, grief, comedy, and euphoria intertwining with each chapter, it was hard to put the book down after reading the few pages.

Cannabis lovers rejoice! I loved when Sophia would share cannabis knowledge, expand on methods of consumption, and explain medicinal benefits for patients. It proves stoners can be functional and just enjoy the beauty of life through cannabis use, and I hope it provides non-users with a glimpse of canna-culture that can dispel age old myths and promote therapeutic care.

With so many topics to touch upon, I am looking forward to more books in this series and more storylines to uncover, all while smoking my favorite strains of cannabis.

Omg!!!! What a great chill read. It’s got my favorite S’s, spice and smoke. If you’re looking for a great story that just feels like you’re hanging out with your friends, this is it. Beautifully written, it touches the heart with laughter and sadness. I cannot wait to the next book. I highly recommend this author and book.

This book is packed with imagery, emotional dialogue and Vegas history. Anyone with interest or experience in the cannabis industry (and romance) will enjoy this book. Chapter 10 made me audibly gasp. What Darren says at the bottom of page 187 made me teary eyed. Additionally, anyone who's experienced grief will relate to and root for this group of wholesome characters. A sweet and serious story that any stoner will love.

This is a stoners choice and a true look into the cannabis industry.

Reading these pages brought me to a very familiar place being in cannabis for 15 years. It is a true look into the life of the industry. I fell in love with the characters and can relate with all of them. I cannot wait for the next one. This is a stoners choice for sure.
