PLOT: Stella has moved back home after a disappointing series of events. She's immediately enthralled by her dad's best friend and neighbor, Finn. Her dad gets involved and asks Finn if she can be an intern for him so she can get her life together and he agrees. So now they're in a very forbidden situation because he's her boss! Can they ever make it work?
THOUGHTS: This is my first book by Ariana Cooper and I loved it. Forbidden love is my jam. I loved the age gap, the spice, and the funny moments. I felt so bad for Finn when his history came out and to see how he dealt with it. But it gets better because Stella is completely there for him!! It's a great novella, I can't wait to see what Ariana writes next! <3

Finn and Stella's Story
This book reads like it was written by a teenager.
There is a significant ick factor with the 38 year old Finn Robinson seducing and screwing his 22 year old neighbor, Stella West. This happens as soon as she is employed as an unpaid intern at his company. Why unpaid?
The only saving point is that the book is relatively short on length. Speed read it if you decide to read it.

From the moment she says "I am a woman because I take my virginity" you know that the book is not going anywhere. Terrible...
Another thing, the dad drama, unnecessary, they weren't even lifelong friends, I really didn't understand it.
It's definitely not my book.
