Hate sex tension is the best
This is what I look for when I see a enemies to lovers romance plot.
It’s not too outrageous with the hate, but you can definitely see that it’s not really hate or enemies it’s just sexual tension.
This was a really good am I also liked the OW trauma that was going on in the background.
I didn’t wish there was more consequences for that drama, but I am happy that everything was settled.

I am a massive Ana Shay fan and her Covey U series is one of my all time favourites and this book is top tier. Her books are filled with drama and they always keep me entertained. Hate Me was no different as I went through every emotion with this one.
I went into this book not being a big fan of Aiden due to his behaviour in the previous books, but by the time I had finished I was melting for him. And I still am to be honest.
This story is a perfect example of enemies to lovers and I have to say it was perfectly executed. At first you think Aiden is the typical popular footballer with his cocky attitude and a girl on his arm at every chance but this guy has layers and oh it was so much fun as they were slowly revealed. He is smart and he knows what he wants from life and who he wants. He has the best dialogue and doesn't beat around the bush. If he has something to say, he will say it. He had me chuckling all the way through.
Alyssa is so sweet in her girl next door demeanor but boy does Aiden challenge her but she gives it right back to him. I loved Alyssa's story and her fight and drive. She more than held her own with Aiden and they were such a great pairing.
The build up is deliciously sweet and when they finally get together it is electric. Their chemistry was sizzling but I liked that we also got to see them really build their relationship and develop. They really matured as the book went along.
It's a cracker of a book and I devoured it. I loved it so much and I'm still thinking about the story days after reading it. I'm glad that we got this story and we finally get to see them together. This whole series is like catching up with friends that I went to school with and I'm more than happy to be immersed in their world. Especially if Aiden and Devin are there. I loved Devin's appearances in this book as well. It was double the fun and double the swooning.

What can I say about this book? I’m not sure I’ve ever hated an MMC more. Usually when an MMC is a bully and hateful, there’s a deep rooted reason. Not the case with Aiden. He was just a jerk from the very beginning. He was selfish and rude and very unkind to even those who he should’ve viewed as friends. Alyssa, the FMC was his neighbor and he hated her the moment he thought he heard her talk bad about him (she didn’t) and then he brought her 3 years of hate and pain. She tried to give back as good as she got but he always had the upper hand because he was rich and powerful while she was sweet and just trying to survive. When he finally decided that his hate was actually desire (possibly love) he tried to have his cake and eat it too, meaning her and his father’s company that came with a fiancée for him. By the time he decided that Alyssa was more important than the money or power it was too late, Alyssa found out about the company and the fiancee and shut him out. He did put in the work to win her back, though in my opinion he didn’t grovel quite enough. He never said those important words: I’m sorry. I have to give it to Alyssa, she didn’t crumble and allow him to have her again right away. She had a backbone and that was good. Now with all of that said, did I eat this book up and read it every chance I had? Yes I did! It was so so good! I loved every second of it the entire time I was hating Aiden. Can’t wait for the next one!

omg alyssa and aiden are the couple!
going from the total fuck boy he is to a softy and doing anything to make her smile because she’s sentimental…oh yeah i ate this up!!
alyssa is trying to save her nana’s house the one place that give her peace and she holds close to her heart. but dealing with aiden and his aggravating parties and having multiple girls come and go, oh and the constant messing with to get a reaction out of her she dispieses him.
aiden has basically set alyssa up to never have a date her whole college experience, he made sure everyone knows she’s off limits.
after one halloween night..well he finally gets a taste and he’s done for, while trying to hide his identity. it doesn’t last long as he does something for alyssa that gives him away, even though she always knew it was him.
seeing their relationship grow and see how much aiden truly cares for her ugh! i love them so much.

I had trouble deciding how to rate this one. Ugh I did not have high hopes but I was curious if the one Hockey book I tried from this author was maybe just a terrible fluke. I was intrigued with the football guys that were in the back ground of that story so I figured I would at least check one of them out.
*sigh* I can say I was invested enough that I actually finished the book.... but several times I wanted to delete it from my kindle and move on. Aiden is just not my kind of character. I mean I have enjoyed some 'Bully' type books before so I figured I could go with the flow. Ummmm nope! I pretty much hated his character. I never saw why he was so dang obsessed with Alyssa. She was kinda dumb, in my opinion. I guess the ending was sweet but I sure did not believe in them as a couple so... just kind of underwhelming.

Move over Adam because babe you’ve been dethroned as my favorite in this series thus far. Aiden and Alyssa’s story had me HOOKED I didn’t wanna put this one down. Aiden had me screaming and crying and loving him all at the same time. Their love story is very push and pull and I would say enemies to lovers but in reality they were lovers the whole time they are both just angsty, stubborn college students. Aiden is essentially a nepo baby and is set to take over his father company after college and his last chance to play football but his father has so many plans for him including a arranged marriage even if it’s against his will. Alyssa just wants to save her grandmothers home from AM Holdings (Aiden’s fathers company) who is buying the whole street to build student living apartments.

Absolutely Amazing!!! Incredible Enemies to Lovers
Well hello there Aiden! You beautiful angsty lovie!!!!!!! I did not expect the mouth on him! Holy fanning myself. His awesomeness flew off the pages!!! I loved everything that came out of his mouth!!! Everything Ana writes I devour, I want her characters to be my friends! I’m head over heels in love with Ana’s books! This book however is bumped up to my top favorite of Ans’s!!! It is soooo good. The back and forth, the prank wars, soooo good!!!
This book blew me away! The angst is everything!!! Aiden & Alyssa’s push and pull is amazing! Their flirting is perfection!!! I loveeeee him! Such a good bad boy, but also soooo swoony! He’s totally head over heels for her!!

Aidens book!!! I have loved Aidens character in the other books and I couldn't wait to see how his character played out and I was not disappointed.
Aiden and Lyss have been a slow burn throughout the other books and I just needed them to hurry up and get their act together at this point!
Alyssa and Aiden definatly had a very love/hate relationship but when she actually told Aiden about something that mattered to her and he made it happen it was the cutest thing I think I have ever read and I am obsessed with them!
I felt as though this book had elements of a bully romance, however Alyssa could handle him and it was a perfect match.

This has to be one of the best enemies to lovers story i have read.
Aiden is your typical football, self smug loves himself lad, and Alyssa is your typical girl next door.
This story is intense, but it's hard to dislike Aiden and his cocky attitude towards people and life because that is what makes him lovable.

DNF It was all over the place ,And I was sooo confused there was a scene were they’re saying it’s the middle of winter and there having a pool party???Idk and the whole Batman situation was soo icky ..
