thank you thank you thank you @hollywhitwrites for the ARC 🫶🏻

Ford and Palmer are everything you could ever ask for in a book. They keep you engulfed in the story from start to finish, I didn’t want it to end 😭🤭 I instantly fell in love with Palmer’s quirkiness and Ford’s grumpy demeanor in their first encounter with each other - who knew a spilled coffee could lead to this? 🤣🤪 definitely a book you can binge in one sitting (I did).

Ford is the newly appointed CEO of Montgomery Enterprises after his grandfather passes, immediately sets tension between his family as his dad thought he’d be the ceo and would be able to sell it for money. Ford wants nothing to do with that, and is determined to keep the company alive and thriving in honor of his grandfather.

Palmer is fresh out of school with her architecture degree, and is struggling to find a job to take a chance on her. Working at a coffee shop and living with her best friend, she doesn’t give up on her dream. The two of them keep meeting in such fate driven ways, accidentally but exactly when they need it.

The drive they both have for their careers is so strong, and they make such a power couple I swear. The way Ford spoils and loves Palmer made my heart absolutely swoooonnn 🥹🫶🏻 his affection knows no limits and I love it. He is so reassuring to her, and she is able to stand on her own two feet around his not so great parents and ex. They seriously fit together so well, it was so fun to read and enjoy their journey together 😭🥹🫶🏻

What to expect:
💰 Billionaire MMC
📐 Architect FMC
💃 Surprise Presents (when I say he spoils her, I mean it)
💘 He hires her to work on his home renovations
🤩 He Falls First
👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏻 Meet Cutes (multiple - they just can’t stop running into each other)
🥵 Open Door
🌗 Opposites Attract

🌶️🌶️🌶️

A little short and sweet review for y’all 📃📐❤️

I absolutely loved this book! Palmer is an aspiring architect trying to find her dream job and Ford is a billionaire who’s trying to find himself and his happiness again. If you love age gap, cosmic brownies, ramen noodles and “your mine” kinda men, then you will love this one!

Favorite quotes:

“I’m one of those people who doesn’t know what she’s going to be doing tomorrow.”

“There’s nothing for me to prove to you. Only Ford.”

“And while I may give off a confident and strong attitude, my feelings can get hurt very easily. I’m stubborn and I don’t like people telling me what to do.”

“Choosing art is the same as reading a book. While it may be my favorite book I’ve ever read, it could be the worst book you’ve ever read. It’s subjective.

“Because you make it so easy to get lost in you.”

I loved all the characters in this book and their connections with each other! I also especially love that we got a little easter egg of Jansen & Rell from By the Threads series! That made me smile. This book I would recommend as a great intro to billionaire romance!

I love these two and their sweet story (with a dash of spice 😉). I love how they supported each other and cared about each other and their successes.

Ford is a cinnamon roll of an mmc and Palmer is a tough, but loving character. I loved how much focus Palmer's business and ambitions received. Even as they developed their relationship, Ford never let her forget her dreams and helped her achieve them is such great ways.

They're two mature main characters and I adored that fact more and more as I read. Even their "break" was handled maturely and with some decent communication (I actually wish Holly would have shown us more of their conversation surrounding this - but I wanted more of just about everything because I loved these two).

I also have to applaud Holly for researching a food allergy and handling it correctly! I can not tell you how many times, reading or watching, that I've yelled into the void, "You have to go to the hospital after you use an Epi-pen! It's not a magical cure!" So I was thrilled to see this handled with care.
I especially enjoyed how protective Ford is when he finds out about Palmer's allergy, because my husband did exactly the same when we started dating and still is my best advocate! I would repeat how it's okay and I'm used to it, but he's always double checking and taking the lead when people don't take it seriously when we were out and food is involved.

Overall, if you've enjoyed a Holly Whitworth book before, you'll be so pleased with her growth as a writer to get her to this book! And if you haven't picked up one of her books? What are you waiting for? Go grab this one. 😉🥰

Ford & Palmer 😍 What a dreamy work place romance this turned out to be!

When Palmer, an aspiring Architect looking for her big break, spills coffee onto Ford, a billionaire real estate mogul, she hopes that they'll never cross paths again. It's just her luck that the upcoming interview for her dream position happens to with him... and it definitely doesn't go to plan.

As the two find their worlds increasingly intertwining, we are treated to all of the opulence and luxury one would expect from a man like Ford. And who could forget the chemistry between the two 🔥🔥

I love Author Holly Whitworth's writing style and have read every one of her books so far. This was something a bit different for her and she's nailed it! I can't wait to read more from her (& I loved the easter egg with Jansen & Rell too ❤).

Palmer has just graduated from college with her architecture degree, looking a job, but having no luck with anyone willing to take a chance on her. She works at a coffee shop and moved in with her best friend Isla to help out. While at work she brings two coffees to the man on his phone looking unhappy when she accidentally spills it on him. Wanting to have some fun, she agrees to go to Noir 57 with Isla, Isla's boyfriend and her ex-boyfriend...where fate has her encountering spilled coffee man, Ford Montgomery, a billionaire who hires Palmer to redo his penthouse.

I absolutely loved everything about Ford and Palmer's story! From their accidental meet cute, to their emails with each other, and just the overall chemistry these two have! Also, can we talk about the side characters?!?! Isla, Griffin, Liam, Andy, Lark and special appearance by Jansen and Rell! The Offer is a very easy read and will have you grasp from the beginning to the very last page!

Highly recommend!

Palmer is an aspiring architect with a fancy masters degree and no experience in her field. She’s facing the age old conundrum of needing experience to get a job, but can’t get any experience without being hired. So for now, she’s working at a coffee shop and biding her time until the perfect opportunity comes along. That’s not to say she isn’t working her butt off to make that opportunity happen. She’s been prepping for interviews for solid year, and has created a perfect model rendition of a design she’s created. Now she just needs to get her foot in the door so she can show off her talent.

Ford isn’t usually thrown off his game, but when a gorgeous girl working at a coffee shop dumps two cups of coffee on him, he can’t get her out of his head. Especially after he runs into her again later that day when she’s getting harassed. He steps in to save her and they enjoy a great conversation and a sandwich before parting ways. The universe seems to have something in plan for them because they keep crossing paths. Palmer finally gets her big break and shows up for an interview with, you guessed it… Ford.

Only things don’t go as planned. By the end of the interview Palmer is upset, embarrassed, and Ford might have ruined her chances of ever getting a job.

I was feeling a book slump coming on, and The Offer reenergized me. It’s the type of romance that I fly through! It was wonderful how quickly Ford jumped to right his wrongs. I appreciated how fast paced the whole book was and I finished it just a few hours. In such a short time I was sucked in by the storyline and all the characters. They captured my attention, and I’m curious to see if they’ll make an appearance in their own book. Plus there were cute cameos of old characters!

Although the drama was a bit predictable at times, it didn’t subtract from my enjoyment. I love a good romance that’s easy to pick up! I liked that it jumped right into the action. It was cute, spicy, and just what I needed. If billionaires, age gaps, mean rich parents, ex drama, flirty emails, snooty events, and/or deathly allergies sound interesting to you, this is a book for you.

I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Palmer currently works at a coffee shop, but she has aspirations to work in an architect firm and learn the ropes to be successful. She currently lives with her best friend and can't afford much with the income she receives from the coffee shop.

One day, a good looking man orders coffee and she accidentally spills it all over him. Could things get any worse? Thank goodness she never has to see him again, until she does at Noir 57, where she sees him.

Who is this guy? It's Ford Mongomery, who is the CEO of Montgomery Enterprise, which is a very successful business that his grandfather started and he has now inherited. The two are hanging out at Noir 57 and Palmer decides to get them sandwiches to eat and hang out some more.

Palmer finally lands an interview and when she is there, she finds out that the guy before her has already gotten the job and that Ford is one of the people she is interviewing with. This interview is such a a mess and if things can't get any worse, her model breaks into a million pieces when a the door opens on her. Ford feels incredibly bad that she went through the interview process when they had already hired someone. He feels bad that her model, which she spent so much time and money on, has been ruined. He does anything and everything to make it up to her.

Will Palmer open up and allow Ford to help her out? Will their chemistry get in the way of her career?

This was a great read and it flowed really well that I finished it in 3 hours. I just could not put this book down and I really enjoyed seeing Palmer and her career grow. I loved the ending, which was a fun surprise!!

I have been reading Holly’s books for a little over a year now, and I have quite enjoyed each book of hers! When she announced she was writing a billionaire romance I was like “SIGN ME UP!” I have been reading alot of billionaire romances this year, and The Offer is one of my favourites!

I really enjoyed the dynamic between Ford and Palmer- Ford is bossy and overprotective, and Palmer is stubborn and independent. They have a bunch of meet cute moments which are honestly so fun! Once Ford finally convinced Palmer to “work” for him, things really took off in their “business relationship” 😏 There are a few spicy scenes including a bath run scene (🔥🔥), Ford coming to her rescue when her ex gets too handsy (even tho Palmer tells him she could handle it herself). There a few intense moments where you will be in the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next, which I loved! The ending tho! It was SO GOOD! You will have to read this book to find out what I’m talking about!

I really liked seeing Palmer not give up on her dream, and learn to accept help form people to help her achiever her end goal. Ford learns about finding peace and happiness outside of works, and finally doing what he wants- not what other people want him to do. Ford is honestly a perfect gentleman, and a perfect book boyfriend!!

The side characters are also great and so supportive and fun! They really pulled the book together and I am itching to see books for them as well!

The Offer will be available everywhere tomorrow (Amazon and KU), and I highly recommend if you are a fan of billionaire romances!

Ford Montgomery inherited Montgomery Enterprise, a real-estate development firm, from his late grandfather. He is now the CEO and is trying to keep his head above water while struggling to learn the ropes. Palmer Greer is a recent graduate who is currently working at a coffee shop while desperately pursuing her dreams. She’s trying to land a job as an architect but keeps running in the same circle. No one will hire her because she is a new graduate and has no experience. How are you supposed to get experience when no one will hire you? After multiple accidental meetings between Ford and Palmer, Ford has the perfect job for Palmer to gain the experience she needs to pursue her dreams. Maybe, just maybe, everyone will end up getting everything they ever wanted?!

Holly truly outdid herself with this one! Excuse me ma’am, but billionaire romance is definitely your jam! I loved that Palmer was such a smart, educated, well rounded FMC. Ford is also very passionate about his work and the way he spoils and loves Palmer is so beautiful. Ford gave Palmer the tools she needed to stand on her own two feet and pave the way in her career, while stepping back and cheering/supporting her the whole time. This was such a cute billionaire romance and you will get sucked right in, the next thing you know you’re at the end wondering how you got there so fast!

I'm was so honored to be able to read this book early and devoured it the second I got it!

I've read all of Holly's books and truly feel she has developed so much as an author over the course of writing. I really loved The Offer and highly recommend it!

Palmer and Ford meet in a super cute and totally realistic way. I felt the pacing of the story was great and also felt like we got just enough information about the main characters to make it feel like we knew them and why they made the decisions they did. It was fun to see them slowly fall for each other and I liked that Ford wanted to support and work with Palmer even more as he got to know her.

I find in some workplace romance books, the author focuses too much on how they can't be together cause they work together, and I loved that this wasn't the case here.

Make sure to check this one out on Friday the 24th!

The Offer is by far the best of Holly! Palmer is an aspiring architect who cannot catch the break she needs. She’s not afraid of some hard-work and will not put aside her morals to get what she is working for. Ford is the billionaire (LOVE billionaire stories!) CEO of a business his grandpa started, and he’ll do anything he can to keep it going strong. What begins as with a clumsy meet cute turns into multiple meet cutes (They just keep running into each other!), and they keep getting better. I love the grumpy/sunshine and protective male feels throughout. The banter is on fire…it’ll make you laugh so hard at times and then have chemistry that is off the charts! I really liked how The Offer had moments you didn’t see coming, so you were glued to each word and each page. The side characters felt like friends I’ve had for a long time, and this quickly became one of those books you can’t wait to see how it ends, yet you don’t want it to be over. If you love a good HEA that gives you all the feels and has a book boyfriend who doesn’t disappoint, you’ll love this one! It is a standalone, but she has several other books you can enjoy after (You’ll love Decker in For You, Mr. Jones!)

If you love a good romance with a strong loving leading man this is 100% the book for you! I loved how fiercely Ford loved Palmer in this story and Holly did an amazing job brining their journey to life in a page turning way. I also enjoy Holly's books and this one didn't disappoint. Holly is so good at dropping twists and turns in her stories to keep you on your toes and her characters are strong leading characters. This story follows Palmer, a young architect looking to get her foot into the world instead of pouring coffee and Ford, a much older real-estate developer who has had his heart broken. These two are a very unlikely couple but fate has its way to pull them together multiple times. I am a sucker for a good meet cute and this book has more than one...cue major heart melting. If you love a spicy, billionaire, age gap, he falls first type romance this is the perfect read for you. Reading this book will leave you realizing you need to go for what you want and protect what you love fiercely!

Thank you, Holly, for my free ebook. It was not expected for me to leave any positive feedback. These opinions are 100% my own.

10/10 would definitely recommend.

This is Holly’s BEST book yet. The pacing was AWESOME. This took the cliche workplace romance and added a fun twist. The easter eggs were SO good. I cried at the ending, happy tears, but if a book can make me cry…. Oh, it is gold in my mind! Hopefully this isn’t a spoiler.. butttt I loved that the third act break up (come on, it’s romance, isn’t there always a third act breakup?) wasn’t something infuriating like miscommunication or an ex coming back into the picture or the main character self sabotaging, it was due to……well, go read it to find out ◡̈ I loved all the side characters!! This book was so well done, I already want to re-read it. It’s based in Chicago which is one of my favoriteeee cities and it made me love this book even more. If you haven’t read any of Holly’s books, what cha waiting for?! If your TBR is endless like mine, and you can only pick one of Holly’s books to read, I recommend this one.

Wow! I absolutely flew through this one. Was literally walking around while reading this, bumping into things because I just couldn’t stop.

Full disclosure, in the past billionaire romances haven’t been my thing… I know a lot of other people loveeee them, but previous reads in that category have just been “meh” for me. It’s crucial to know this dear reader, because Holly Whitworth’s THE OFFER has proved me wrong in the best of ways. I’m all in on this billionaire romance. 🖤

Here are a couple of things I loved about this one: the pacing (did I mention I couldn’t put it down?). The characters (all of them, main and side). Holly just has a way with words that makes you absolutely love them (minus Ford’s parents of course).

When you need the easy, romantic read. THIS is one you don’t want to pass on.

Oh. My. Gosh.
I ate this book up!! This book sent me on an emotional rollercoaster (in the best possible way). I literally laughed out loud multiple times, teared up multiple times, and smiled at all the sweet lines that were in this book!

Palmer and Ford are the perfect match for each other! I loved all of the multiple meet cutes that they had and how they kept bumping into each other! I also loved that they were so relatable! Also Ford is one of my favorite book boyfriends (I said what I said).

I love a good book that has both the MMC and FMC that grow into their characters separately and together! It was so much fun to 1. get to know them and 2. to watch them better each other.

Also the side characters in this book are literally GOLD!! I have never laughed so hard at some of the one liners that these side characters had 😅

I also enjoyed the little Easter eggs 🤭 IYKYK

This billionaire age gap romance had me in a trance. I couldn’t put it down! Holly created such fun and realistic characters with flaws equivalent to those we ‘normal’ people experience. I love Palmer’s Character development through their love story. Ford is a filthy mouthed billionaire with family drama that interferes quite a bit with their happiness. Ford’s love language would for sure be gift giving (like me) which is probably why I love him sooo much. Palmer is hesitant at first to accept his gift giving tendencies but relents eventually 😂

Who wouldn’t love a man who spoils his girl? If you love short and spicy reads on KU, go READ this now!!

I absolutely loved diving into the world of Ford and Palmer! From their meet-cute and the rescue, through the uncomfortable reunion there’s a sizzling energy between them. The easy way they progressed was fun and flirty, and I loved how you can feel their joy through the pages. And you wanna talk villains!! Dang, with those 3 it’s amazing nothing worse happened - looking at you Vivian… love the heavy dose of side character support that is a constant gift in all Holly’s books and can’t wait to see what happens next for Isla, Liam, Griffin, Lark, and Andy! The Offer is all about Palmer & Ford — Palmer needing a job in architecture and Ford being the one who can provide that … and more. 😉 Palmer is so lovable and easy to fall in love with! I loved her from the beginning. Ford is the perfect MMC for the job — rescuing Palmer MULTIPLE times? Yes please! The heat between them? Also yes. Both characters were so well written. Holly did an amazing job writing the side characters in a way that makes you love them & want more of them! *hint hint* 😉 all in all — this is Holly’s best book yet & you will not regret falling in love with Ford & Palmer 🫶🏻

“It’s there for safety. Don’t use if you don’t want to. But if you do, begin with your student loans.”

Palmer: 25, fresh out of college, working as a barista, and recently has moved in with her best friend because of her mountain of student loan debts.

Ford: 35, a billionaire, recently inherited his grandfather's company, and recently broke things off with his long time girlfriend.

Watching these two meet, work together, fall in love, and find their own paths in life was everything I had hoped for! They sucked me instantly and I could not stop turning pages until I saw their story through. This was the perfect easy read, with lovable characters, who have you rooting for them from the very first page. When they experienced set backs, I felt those so hard and even though one of them is a billionaire, this story was so relatable. At the end of the day, we are all just trying to figure out what we want to be when we grow up.

Tropes:

Thank you for the ARC.

This book was so good. Ford and Palmer definitely won my heart. They were brilliantly developed main characters. Ford was determined to establish his own life away from the control of his father, especially after inheriting his grandfather’s company. Palmer was strong and determined to fulfil her dream of becoming an architect, her dream takes a detour when she misses out on a job that she thought was her chance to get a start on fulfilling her dream, but fate steps in, when she is given an opportunity that she really couldn’t turn down. This opportunity may not only change her professional career but may impact her personal life as well.

This book was brilliantly constructed, and I loved the way that Ford dealt with the business obstacle that he encountered. This book is definitely one of Holly’s best.

ARC Review (HAPPY PUB DAY!!!)

WOW. This is, without a doubt, Holly’s best book (in my opinion, of course)!

I was interested in the characters and the plot from the very beginning and had a hard time putting this book down to go to sleep!

The pacing of the plot and the romance, the flow of the writing, the chemistry between the characters? So. Good.

Nothing felt too forced in this book, which is something i don’t see a lot of in romance books. There was just something so realistic about the way everything happened leading all the way up to the end.

Loved this one. 4.5 stars
