Cassidy Reyne lives in the London area. She drinks champagne. She dines, occasionally, in opulent clubs. She travels, reads, takes leisurely walks in the country, enjoys photography, and replenishes her soul among the trees in a forest or by the edge of the ocean. She grew up in Sweden and moved to the UK where she was wined and dined by a fabulous gentleman who swept her off her feet and somehow convinced her to stay.
She started her career in the hotel industry, where she met glamorously fabulous and gloriously interesting humans. And some that were not so much of either. She gave that up to raise two loving and amazing human beings who make her proud and astonished every day by their values, zest for life, and desire to take the world by storm — or at least some small corner of it. Now, she sits in her office, or in the backyard, weaving tales of delicious alpha males tamed by strong women. Will they have their happily ever after? Who is to say? Cassidy tortures her readers as much as her characters with twists and turns and obstacles until the very end where you don’t know if the lovers who smolder in bed will be able to keep the blaze going, or will the world Cassidy created tear them apart?
Fallen by Cassidy does to you exactly as the title suggests. You just fall deep into the words and chapters of the book and before you even realize it, you're flipping through the last pages.
A very well written read, deffo 5/5. With my twisted mind I tried to think of a good description but I can still only think of the very initial message I sent to the author. The beginning of the book breaks your heart, it makes you symphatize with the MC at a different level, almost on par with an end of book tragic plot twist. From there on it builds you up, and you end up living through the story together with the characters, experiencing every twist and turn as it was your own!
I can only reccomend this, Cassidy is a wonderful writer and has a way to pull you into a new life from the very first letter!
It's hard to explain my exact feelings about the book other than to say it was a journey! As the journey continued I grew impatient to reach the destination but it turns out the journey mattered as much as the fantastic conclusion 🤣 it was both gut-wrenching and heart warming in equal measure but never a disappointment. Great read and very thought provoking
I absolutely loved this story. Everything from character development to world-building was perfect. The journey of both characters makes you deeply invested in their stories, and you can’t help but root for their happiness, eagerly turning pages to discover their future.
I found this book to be an unexpected gem. From the heartbreaking beginning we are taken on journey, following the lives of the two main characters who are destined to meet. Kiran’s timeline I found to be particularly interesting, steeped in history as it is. An absolutely beautiful read.
This book was nothing like anything I’ve read before. It’s heartbreaking to start with as both the main characters lose their spouses and are alone on their healing journey.
Kiran is an angel that jumps through time, in his story we learn about his different lifetimes. He is tired of all the time jumps, and is hurting after loosing his wife in his most recent existence. He endures many painful lives to understand the human experience but the steamy dreams of an unknown woman keep him going.
Alina is struggling with the loss of her husband and children in a tragic accident. On her journey to rebuild her life she faces many more challenges. She tries starting a new relationship with a guy at work, but nobody compares to what she had with her husband. But, she also can’t get this guy out of her head that she’s never met but knows exactly how to make love to her in her dreams
The clever thing is how Kiran’s interaction over time has touched the lives of people Alina meets in her story, which is set in the current day. Kiran and Alina don’t physically meet until the last 10% of the books, except through all their steamy dream.
This was a very emotive read, beautifully written, with some clever story telling. Cassidy wraps everything up by the end, leaving no loose ends. And after all the sadness, it was very satisfying to have such a happy ending.
Another page turner from the talented and prolific Cassidy Reyne - and I think this one is my favourite. I felt swept away to several different years, historical events and by the 3D characters and the intrigue, mystery and romance of this original tale. It’s the kind of book you want in paperback so you can read it all over again. Don’t miss out on this one!
