Racket She's the one that got away, the girl I got glimpses of but could never really have. Until that day I found her in that warehouse, and my world came to a stop. I only have one chance to make it right, and I won't fail her again.
Willow He's my own personal Batman, always showing up to save the day. Too bad he couldn't protect me from the one place I truly needed him...home. Will I be able to escape my past and get my sh*t together or is history doomed to repeat itself?
Racket is the 4th book in the Ruthless Heathens series. This book touches on things that may be triggering to some readers. Please make sure you check trigger warnings before you proceed. If you like second-chance romance and a southern boy and a little dark this book is for you.
E.R. Hendricks Is originally from Connecticut but now lives in Missouri with her husband and kids. She is a hot mess mom, to five kids and two fur babies. If she isn't reading books, she’s writing them. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and COFFEE. She is new-ish to writing but truly loves it. She writes spicy romance and is even venturing into Horror. The tropes vary depending on her mood. She writes anything from fantasy/paranormal to contemporary, dark romance, and even horror. The only limit is her twisted imagination. With a soft spot for psychotic men and strong, badass MFCs, you won't find any meek, frail women in her books. She hopes you enjoy her books as much as she enjoys writing them.
Every book that continues in this series gets me more in my feels than I was in the last book 😩! I love that the characters get their own book with their story so you learn about them and go through the trauma and experiencing with them. Willow is a survivor but also made me want to yell at her to listen and get out of her head. Racket…my guy… thank you for telling her how it is and please omg survive 😩😩 left on another cliffhanger to continue with the series with Bones. I can’t wait!

Wow oh wow this one brought a lot of complicated emotions and an epic cliffhanger this time!!
This is book 4 in the Ruthless Heathens MC series and it follows Racket and Willow. This like the others previously released should be read in order to fully understand each book. Also please read responsibly it will contain dark themes.
Get ready to see the man who is notable for the comedic relief he provides his brothers but this time we get a new side to Racket. He's struggling with the feelings he has for Willow since he has known her since she was at least sixteen. Watching over her and trying to protect her as a big brother type will morph into an obsession to not only want to protect her but claim her as his own. Now that he has saved her several times prior he's ready to let his sly little fox know she's one only if only he can catch her once again to prove his love is the real deal.
Willow is now twenty-two and has had a rough life at a young age but one person she could count on even if she never wants to admit is Racket. He's like her very own dark knight since he causes hope to bloom but she refuses to let it. As she is rescued from the dark clutches of the cartel to be reunited with not only some of the other girls who were taken and sold she's come face to face with the one man who has gotten under her skin since the first time he protected her, Racket who has her fight or flight response kicking in and ready to run. Willow is a complicated character with her ability to believe she's not worth anything to anyone and once someone gets what they want she's left to fend for herself once again. So why would Racket be any different even though he's saved her before and brought unwanted feelings she's quick to push away just like him. Can he really be the one person who won't leave her?
So buckle up because these two have a complicated and frustrating relationship as it unfolds. You may wanna throw your reading device at times especially when you hit that last chapter. This story has a lot of angst, tension, frustration, and spice so you will get an array of emotions as you read this one.
If you love a good MC series with morally gray men and the broken women they rescue finding a connection along the way then this is the one to grab. Always action-packed, and full of spicy moments to give you all the feels as you read. Highly recommend this one but be prepared this one ends on a crazy cliffhanger that will have you needing the next book ASAP!!
Yeah she is messed up. That’s what we love about E.R. and if I ever get to meet her in person I think I will cry and thank her for helping heal some deeper parts of me.
Now on to Racket, it’s everything and just as messed up as the rest of the books. Willow is a mess, Racket is a mess, but those two together work and I love that for them. If you read the other 3 books then you absolutely know to check trigger warnings. This I feel is a little bit more tamer than the other three though. It’s mostly trauma healing for me at this point though.
I really do need to start doing my reviews so that people understand the book but I’m too emotional for that and I like how I write how the book was for me. If you aren’t an emotional reader then my thoughts are not for you but if you are, you know this series is a rollercoaster and we are going for rides like there is no other.
I can’t get enough of the men from the Ruthless Heathens Series. Bring on Racket and Willow!
This man has kept a watchful eye on Willow since she was 16. This causes inner turmoil for our MMC as what started out as a need to protect her, grew into something more throughout the years. Willow, a now 22-year-old fierce woman, fights her own internal demons. Her past makes her second guess a lot of things and she has a hard time wrapping her mind around the fact someone may want her to stick around. Their relationship is anything but easy. Feelings need to be proven true and walls need to be broken down.
If you love MC romances, characters with history, strong chemistry, sexual tension, and spice, this one is absolutely for you. Just be warned: that cliffhanger will leave you begging for more!
After finally finding the girls, Racket has been reunited with Willow and is determined to keep her safe at all costs.
Willow is struggling with everything that happened in the warehouse and what happens next. She's been user to being tossed to the side when her usefulness has been used up and it's just a matter of time before Racket does the same. So the first chance she gets she takes her fate into her own hands.
Racket comes out of Church to find Willow gone and instantly goes into hunting mode. He's determined to find her and admit what he's been fighting and ignoring all this time.
This is a quick read and is recommended to read the whole series before diving in. Beth, Wren, and all the guys make an appearance and fair warning the book ends on a brutal cliffhanger.
brilliant book , i couldn't put it down, it was very fast paced . it great getting to find out more about racket ! and willow is amazing and so brave ! , how she loses the guy in the car is amazing ! and wow , what she does to earn some money to get some food , shes so strong . how Racket found her though 😂😂😂the look on her face and how she reacted ! they both had me laughing with how they are together , but wow ! what a cliff hanger ! fantastic book miss Hendricks
Willow has been dealt a horrible hand in life but Racket has always been there when she needs help. Racket finally gets to save her and this time he it’s for keeps. I love how possessive and protective Racket is with Willow. He is going to convince her by any means necessary that he is with her for good. The steam is top notch and lasts through multiple chapters. The end is a horrible cliffhanger and the next book better get here fast!
This was a slower start to the other books in the series but was just as good! Rackets pursuit of Willow was what all us girlies want to be chased to the ends of the earth and told we are it. The connection and banter between the two was really good and made me so excited to read, the plot laxed a bit but only to hit you right in the heart at the flipping end!!!! I wasn't ready and each time I read it I was still surprised... why would E do this to her readers!
Racket is book four in this wonderful series. Racket is struggling with his feeling for Willow especially since he know her since she was in her teens. But when Willow gets rescue and reunion with her people, she will have to come face to face with the one person she doesn’t think she worth of. But Racket will fight and push her bounties until she can see that she is the only one for him. Their journey is an rollercoaster of emotions but one incredible ride you don’t want to miss.
Holy crap...wow. Just wow. Best book of the series IMO. It is extremely relatable and gut-wrenching but is so dang good. I read it in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. Racket and WIllow have my entire heart. You won't be disappointed if you read this series. The books just get better and better.
The fourth in the MC series, as always check trigger warnings! This story follows Racket and Willow, who remind me of a knight in shining armor to get to his princess. Except in leather lol. Willow is such an amazing character build up who is independent but can be vulnerable but knows what she wants. Racket will do everything in his power to keep her safe. Such a beautiful story.
Racket and Willow's story played with my emotions pulling at every heartstrings. These two have a complex story with plenty of complications and bumps in their journey. There is so much tension, angst and spice. I enjoyed their story and the wild rollercoaster ride that is was.
Another five stars. i swear, every time i finish a book, i end up saying it's my favorite, but i just can't help it. Every single book that she makes is incredible. Racket will leave you with questions i taught it had a happy ending, and then bamm, there goes the mystery at the end
This whole series is amazing! Every single book hooked me from the very start and let me tell you this one didn’t disappoint, highly recommend this book and the others in the series 🖤
