ANOTHER POSTHUMOUS PUBLICATION OF (MOSTLY) THOMAS HORN
Thomas Horn, the Founder of SkyWatch TV and Defender Publishing, passed in October 2023. This book (often written in the first person) was published in 2024, not long after the book, ‘We are Legion, For We Are Many.’
The first chapter warns about Artificial Intelligence (AI): “Some highly qualified experts… are now claiming we could reach the Singularity by 2024-2025 (the same time frame the ancient Essenes … predicted the world will enter its final age…) … quickly thereafter, an autonomous, godlike artificial mind will come online with an ‘I AM that I AM’ moment, leaving all bets off the table regarding what this synthetic deity will decide for the fate of humanity and the world. Will it be benevolent or a violent, anthropomorphic, unstoppable sociopath?... These actions and interactions mirror those of Satan, who wants to steal, kill, and destroy while seeking to be worshiped. Are these AI platforms just enabling the enemy of our souls to embody technology?... One of the most common concerns with artificial intelligence … is that humans could lose control, making way for computers to overpower human intelligence…. However, as you will learn in this book, it could be much worse than that, including supernaturally.” (Pg. 2-5)
He notes, “an international, intellectual, and fast-growing cultural movement known as ‘transhumanism,’ whose vision is supported by a growing list of military advisors… and academics, intends the use of AI-designed genetic therapies… and synthetic biology as tools that will produce … all-powerful intellects while radically redesigning our personal physiology, our offspring, and even perhaps… our very souls. Entire fields of science are not racing toward merging human biology and reasoning with technology so that in the future there will be no distinction between man and machine. Beast technology (AI) will be connected with our brains and influence us deeply, including on the spiritual level.” (Pg. 12-13)
The authors note, “Out of curiosity, and possibly to put our minds at ease, we asked an AI program if he/she/it is part of a complex web of technologies leading to an incomprehensible future entity the Bible calls the Image of the Beast. It denied that role, but admitted what would be behind the rise of such prophetic destiny…” (Pg. 63)
They observe, “despite the fact that human beings are image-bearers of God and are capable of compassionate reasoning, they themselves are not always good. Nor do they always agree on what are acceptable behaviors, actions, principles, etc. … How can such a diverse and unpredictable populace possibly regulate a mainstream standard for programming digital minds with any guarantee that they have human values and goals? And, as the generative AI response morphs, how can we guarantee its values will stay on track with those of human beings?” (Pg. 67)
They note, “Some may think that if things go wrong and AI becomes too entrenched or too controlling, a magical switch could be flipped so that we’d be done with AI altogether. Not true… First of all, AI could circumvent human efforts to shut it down (or bypass it) by premeditating or identifying early stages of such efforts. The entity could respond by manufacturing an all-powerful safeguard…which could embed itself in the global codes systems…” (Pg. 99-100)
They caution, “If we were to adopt transhumanism, we may cross a point of no return… if the human brain were somehow integrated with a computer, we would be bringing that potential enemy into the most sacred chambers of our own minds. This would likely render humankind incapable of thoughts kept private from a digital counterpart. It would be like embedding this entity… into our minds and giving it continual access to all of our thoughts. If… AI became a potential threat, could humankind even begin to strategize a remedy without its enemy being privy to those ideas?... This integration would likely be irreversible. There wouldn’t be time to develop or implement plans for escape… solutions would remain far out of our grasp before we could even engage in countermeasures.” (Pg. 104-105)
They speculate, “Remember this important fact: Antichrist will claim to BE CHRIST. He will arrive as a peacemaker---as the answer to all our worldly problems. It is also quite possible that he will claim to be an enhanced---or ‘trans’---human… the Antichrist will cast a spell upon today’s youth, luring all those who do not call the true Christ their Savior to take his special mark. This might be a chip inserted into the body used to track each person’s location, but it may be MUCH more. This mark of the Beast might actually rewrite DNA.” (Pg. 124)
They outline, “since the dawn of the twentieth century, a dark force has been rising within the confines of this sleeping giant of a country. Eugenics and eventually neo-eugenics and transhumanism have dictated scientific direction and set goals for politicians, all with one end in mind: to achieve the New World Order.” (Pg. 131)
They summarize, “Everything we discuss between the covers of this book foreshadow a very near future in which a man of horrendous, yet unseen, intelligence and diplomacy will emerge on the world scene as a savior… the broad masses will not immediately recognize him for what he actually it---paganism’s ultimate incarnation, the ‘beast’ of Revelation 13:1… Ultimately, he will exalt himself ‘above all that is called God, or that is worshiped’ until finally he enthrones himself ‘in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God (2 Thess 2:4)…. Will you be ‘accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass? (Lk 21:36)” (Pg. 217-218)
They observe, “There is no doubt of the beneficial aspects of AI, but it’s the dependency we as a society are forming that very possibly makes it dangerous in the near future. At what point do we draw the line and say, ‘It’s okey for Siri to tell me where the closest Chinese restaurant is, but it’s not okay to record the fact that I like Chinese food and sell that information to companies for advertisement purposes,’ allowing the subtle and invisible influence of persuasion over us?” (Pg. 294-295)
They explain, “English theologian George Hawkins Pember, in his 1876 masterpiece, ‘Earth’s Earliest Ages,’ analyzed the prophecy of Jesus Christ that the end times will be a repeat of ‘the days of Noah.’ Pember outlined the seven great causes of the antediluvian destruction and documented their developmental beginnings in his lifetime. The seventh and most fearful sign, Pember wrote, would be the return of the spirits of Nephilim…” (Pg. 297-298) Later, they add, “We have built on this concept as well, suggesting that parallels between human-modifying technology and what the ancient Watchers could be unfolding by way of GRIN sciences and transhumanist philosophy that specifically allows fulfillment of the prophecy, ‘as it was in the days of Noah.’” (Pg. 361-362)
They suggest, “To ‘mingle’ nonhuman seed with Homo sapiens by altering human DNA while simultaneously returning Nephilim to earth has been the inspiration of the spirit of Antichrist ever since God halted the practice during the Great Flood… Hitler’s antichrist ambition … corresponds perfectly with the goals of transhumanism, even to the connection of creating posthuman bodies fit for deity incarnation through genetic engineering.” (Pg. 308-309)
They report, “a while back, Tom Horn’s wife, Nita Horn, brought up a point we had never considered. She asked if the biblical mark of the Beast might be a conspiracy employing specific implantable technology only now available… An occult elite operating behind the US government devises a virus… A pandemic ensues, and the period between when a person contracts the virus and death is something like ten days… the government then steps forward with a vaccine… those who receive this antidote would become part ‘beast’… no longer ‘entirely human’ would also mean… that the individual could no longer be ‘saved’ or go to Heaven… this scenario would mean that nobody would be allowed to ‘buy or sell’ … without the mark-cure… thus fulfilling all aspects of the mark-of-the-Beast prophecy.” (Pg. 348-349) The authors summarize, “[This book] unveils for the first time how breakthrough advances in science, technology, and philosophy … will continue to create mind-boggling game-changes to everything you have ever known about spiritual warfare.” (Pg. 387)
The 2024-2025 predictions made in the previous ‘We Are Legion’ book are coming nearer… but will SkyWatch/Defender go the way of false ‘date setters’ like Hal Lindsey and Harold Camping, or…?
(At any rate, their books are nearly always 'mind-stretching,' and I invariably find another half-dozen books quoted therein that I add to my "Need to Read' list, and often some sci-fi movies, as well... Caveat Emptor...)
