raw and real account of what our hardest days can be like and the struggle it can be to continue.
i love cadence so im a bit biased, but i feel like each of these were so vulnerable and honest documents of her life.
my favorites were: my least favorite words, alternatively words that have never helped everything wrong with me the weatherman says cadence poem on page 78 (final one)
i’m always proud of you cadence. i notice how you’re trying.
this book is even more powerful and raw than the previous book. I felt it inside in a deeper, more visceral way. It is a book full of strength, which tells with sincerity and courage many of the most difficult and painful nuances of life.
I loved every single word. This collection seemed even more personal to me, as if Cadence had opened its heart on every page. While reading I often felt the need to hug her, because I know how serious certain situations can be.
first of all, i would like to thank cadence for allowing me to read this for free beautiful doesn’t even begin to describe this collection it’s like seeing myself on a page these poems were so raw and so real and so relatable
