I really liked her most of the time. She is badass and seeks revenge for her sister. Daniella is brave, intelligent and relatable.

Finally a relatable and dangerous mafia man! He is a killer with a soft spot for his woman although he makes it clear that he is in the bratva and not a teddy bear.

To be honest this was one of the most realistic mafia books I‘ve ever read. It‘s brutal and made me angry sometimes but that was exactly what made it fun. Here the bratva is not full of funny gangster who are all best friends; instead with a ruthless boss who punishes his own flesh and blood. The whole crime family vibe felt realistic and dangerous. It also showed that Kazimir is not immortal and he can get hurt too (in most books the MMC is a fucking superhero). Of course this is all fictional and sometimes Kazimir is the typical mafioso all readers swoon for but overall this book felt more realistic than others.
It was a fun and entertaining read and I couldn‘t put it down. For my liking there are too many pages (500 on my kindle) and there were scenes I only skimmed because they didn‘t seem that important.
Sometimes the tension between Daniella and Kazimir lacked and their relationship didn‘t feel real. But I liked them as a couple. Both are fierce and protective. I think the author just couldn‘t hold up their tension over such a (unnecessary) long book.
I am curious for the next book and I hope this series can hold up my attention (I‘m not a fan of romance books with that many pages…). We will see.

Guys!!! This was so good! Highly recommend!! Their chemistry is off the charts and the vibes??? They are amazing! Check your trigger warnings, but there aren't many, so I'd highly recommend this for a newbie to darker romances!

This book was only ok for me. The relationship seemed to move very fast, and I couldn't connect to either character. The story was something I enjoy to read but it felt like it dragged at certain points.
Not everyone is going to love or like every book they read, and this is just one of them for me.

I read Merciless Princess before I read this book so it was nice to see the insight on their relationship. I would suggest reading this book first since it includes minor spoilers but not enough to ruin the story. I enjoyed Daniella and Kazimir's dynamic as it was created for convenience yet formed into something beautiful. I loved how he would change his viewpoints just for her, and how his family interacted with Daniella. I liked that Daniella was presented as strong and someone who wouldn't back down. If you're looking for a book with dark romance, mafia-based, convenience, revenge plot, and interconnected worldbuilding then I highly recommend this book and its series.

Yep, I love her mafia romances. Every time she writes one I am hooked. The characters in this one were great.
This Contemporary Mafia Romance is a riveting read. It does have some darker elements, checking all trigger warnings is a must.
The Romance is a slow burn, with an instant attraction.
This book does have several spicy scenes, along with lots of adult language. Which is suited perfectly for spice lovers.
The book moves at a steady pace following the FMC as she makes a deal to take down those who hurt her sister, all while trying to keep her family safe.
The characters are great. The FMC is sassy, and feisty. The MMC is our favorite morally grey. The additional characters have varying personalities that help build the story.
The world building is set in contemporary times with the addition of a crime lifestyle. This makes the book alluring, and exciting.

Gânduri despre lectură:
- m-a prins încă din primele pagini, ceea ce am adorat; are și darul să te țină în poveste până la final
- i-am iubit pe Kazimir și pe Daniella; chimia dintre ei a fost superbă; la unele momente m-am topit de drag; tare aș fi vrut încă o carte cu ei
- am și râs, ceea ce e de apreciat dat fiind genul
- a fost imprevizibilă pe alocuri, ceea ce m-a surprins
- totuși, unele evenimente importante au fost tare grăbite, lipsind detalii; am crezut că lipsesc pagini de câteva ori din această cauză
- de multe ori mi s-a spus ce să simt, nu mi s-a arătat, ceea ce mi-a tăiat din entuziasm
- drama de la final nu mi-a plăcut; am rămas cu senzația că a fost introdusă doar ca să existe și un moment mai dark și cam atât.
În concluzie, e un dark romance light și drăguț pe care l-am devorat.

Vengeful Dreams was the perfect introduction into the Vlasov Bratva. Daniella is this innocent woman who needs to cross into the criminal underworld for some much needed revenge. Kaz is one ruthless man who is ready to make Daniella a deal she can’t refuse. Once he discovers Daniella is telling the truth, he won’t stop until she’s his. Daniella, not willing to wait for her revenge, accidentally starts a war and is now forced to make a decision. Along the way Kaz and Daniella has this intense need for each other. Their story really shows just how quickly you can trust someone you know is your person. Kaz is one top notch book boyfriend. Alexa Michaels has done it again with a great mafia read!! I can’t wait for Dimi’s story!

I can’t even right now. This was so damn good. Every book of Alexa’s that i’ve read has been nothing short of amazing and this was up there with them. I loved every minute of reading this. And once I started I almost couldn’t put it down. Dani and Kaz now hold a special place in my heart. I knew they would. But the way they came together and conquered was beautiful. I was definitely on a roller coaster with this one.
There are some really dàrk themes in Vengeful Dreams so before I highly recommend this, I will recommend reading the TW’s first.

Kaz has taken the spot of #1 book boyfriend because OMG 🥵. Not only is he the perfect morally gray bad boy with some serious touch her and "ya know" vibes, but he's an artist that is obsessed with making sure she eats enough and is wearing her coat.
The little references to some of my other favorite books just put everything over the top.
And I just looooved all the side characters, especially her sassy nonna.

She bargains with the devil and the devil falls hard for her its a slow burn but instant attraction and they both are amazing.
The side characters helped so much and i love like almost all characters. Laughing moments were on point and i was hooked to this book.

A delightfully dark romance.
Vengeful Dreams is a mafia romance staring Daniella, a woman seeking revenge for her sister and Kaz, a ruthless soldier who can't stay away from her.
This has twists, turns and a whole of of hot-cha-cha.
Sorry I had too much coffee.
But really, while I enjoy mafia romance, marriage of convenience and all that, the chemisty and the growth of the two main characters is what had be reading well into the night to finish this one last night.
It's a standalone with a nice wrapped up storyline that feels complete as you close it's covers. I recommend!

I just couldn’t get myself to enjoy this one. The writing and dialogue felt stunted, the spice didn’t feel spicy, and overall I was just bored.

k where do I start! This book was one hello hell of a ride, I was not able to put it down. Devoured it within 2 days. It is action packed it leaves you at the edge of your seat. It felt like I was watching one good action movie with some good romance 🔥🔥🔥 it starts with slow burn until it’s plain good spice that will have your toes curling 🫠🫠
The bargain that Daniella makes with the scariest beast to fitful her revenge for loosing her sister, ended up in her thinking of him as her “angel of vengeance”
I enjoyed this book very much. It’s a good mafia romance book that you don’t want to miss reading.
Kaz is a ruthless character but he will burn everyone for his little thief. He is possessive and over protective with his own little quirk and history, and didn’t know he would fall for Daniella this woman who was able to take the risk to break in to his house.

Part of The Vlasov Bratva Daniella is sassy, a dancer who loves her family she has one goal revenge not realizing it is best served cold so she decides the wolf is her target breaking into his penthouse producing evidence his business is at risk and offer her services to fix the issues with his business in return payment will be help her find her sister’s killer breaking up the traffic ring that took her away ultimately killing her(but they say the best laid plans can still go wrong). Kazimir Vlasov sexy as all get out Vlasov Bratva ruthless, dangerous on a good day, deadly every day but we know what happens when someone tries to steal from him and yet he can’t get her out of his thoughts intrigue with her. Dani knows of his world and when she asks for assistance the kind the police can’t give her in a situation most don’t understand but what she doesn’t know he isn’t letting her go she is his breath of fresh air he will help her not because she asked but because he wants to help her, she is his to protect but will she accept him all of him, will they take out the group who have been kidnapping girls for profit, and can they come to an agreement outside of their initial agreement?

DNF. FMC has the personality, maturity, and critical thinking skills of a 12 year old (even though she’s supposedly some super smart hacker/ coding extraordinaire??) MMC has no actual power in his organization and just pretends to and it gives me the ick when he acts like he does. Save yourself the time and just re-read about Nico Russo

Its been a while since I read a mafia book that just instantly clicked for me and the Vlasov Bratva did that in this first book. This had the perfect blend of danger, violence, revenge, obsession, found family, romance and spice to keep me coming back for more.
I loved Kazimir and I loved Daniella. Give me a quirky, shy heroine who isn’t afraid to stand up to the big bad wolf and a dangerous Hero who is only soft for his heroine and I’m sold. Throw in a slew of intriguing supporting characters with their own quirks and back stories and you bet I’ll be impatiently waiting for the next book to come out. Dimi! *sigh*
Vengeful Dreams was a gripping story with unique characters I know I’ll be thinking about for a while yet and I’m so happy I found this new series to obsess over because I need more crazy Kaz and sassy Dani in my life :)
After watching the proper authorities turn a blind eye to her sister’s murder at the hands of human traffickers, Daniella decides she is done going through the proper channels and instead decides to take her black market information and hire evil to fight evil. That’s how she finds herself breaking and entering the lair or Kazimir Vlasov, one of the four Mafia princes of the Vlasov Bratva.
Kazimir is instantly intrigued by Dani, this small spite that comes to bargain with him for a chance to avenge her sister. If you liked Sarah Castille’s Ruin and Revenge series, this is giving me those same vibes. I highly recommend and hope this book gets all the attention and hype that it deserves.

I loved Kazimir and I loved Daniella. Give me a quirky, shy heroine who isn’t afraid to stand up to the big bad wolf and a dangerous Hero who is only soft for his heroine and I’m sold. Throw in a slew of intriguing supporting characters with their own quirks and back stories and you bet I’ll be impatiently waiting for the next book to come out. Dimi! *sigh*
Vengeful Dreams was a gripping story with unique characters I know I’ll be thinking about for a while yet and I’m so happy I found this new series to obsess over because I need more crazy Kaz and sassy Dani in my life :)

This comes in the form of raven haired, Adonis, suit-wearing Kazimir Vlasov. She makes her proposal while also coming to work for him to suss out shady dealings in his publicly respectable empire. Though he doesn't trust her, slowly his facade cracks and the tender hearted belle begins to inch her way into his steely exterior. But dark elements threaten not only their growing love but also their plan of revenge.
Kaz...my GOD! I just clutch my pearls and melt for this dangerous, yet soft and gentle beast. Seeing the small scenes of his vulnerability with her was everything! I would've loved even another scene or two of how she cares for him after his dangerous extracurriculars. This man will murder the world for his love. And his sense of honor has a nobility about him that hearkens to knights of old.
Seeing how Dani is whisked up into this world of blood and fists was handled with great attention to realism. When she ultimately witnessed an act of violence, she is later taken aback by how much it haunts her. But her fire is lit and I see her as becoming a powerful lioness beside her King.
The supporting ensemble characters also were excellent in displaying their own unique personalities, strengths, eccentricities. So much heart was given to these two MMC's. Whether it's delicate touches,or bursts of anger that hides fear...it's all a deftly woven tapestry to wonderfully complex humans and a suspenseful/action extravaganza!

I somehow managed to read the Vlasov Bratva series completely out of order, but diving into this first book was like finding hidden gems in reverse—I absolutely loved getting glimpses of the MMCs I’d already fallen for and seeing who they were before their spotlight moments. While the story starts off a little slow, don’t be fooled—it’s just the calm before the storm. The pace quickly kicks into high gear and doesn’t let up. Enter Daniella: a tech-savvy, fiercely determined woman who breaks into the home of Chicago’s most dangerous man, not for survival, but to bargain for revenge. Her sister was murdered by traffickers, and Dani is prepared to strike a deal with the devil himself to get justice. She's brilliant, compassionate, and unapologetically bold—grieving, but never defeated. Then there’s Kazimir. Oh, Kaz. Daniella wants revenge on the sex trafficking ring that kidnapped and killed her sister and she will do absolutely anything to get it. Everyday she goes to Neb Tech everyday and waits for Kazimir Vlasov not only does she need to ask the gorgeous CEO if he will avenge her sister but she also found a huge flaw in his company that he needs to know about.
After being turned away again, she takes measures into her own hands and decides she’s going to break into his house in order to make a bargain with him, when he finally comes home he finds her and asks her at gun point how she got into his house and she tells him that she picked the lock and he looks at Daniella stunned, she then says “like it’s hard” Kazimir then asks Daniella what she sought him out for and she gives Kaz the folder with the proof that he needs her help.
Kaz looks at the numbers and he’s pissed, because if she came upon this problem then his enemies can stumble upon this as well. She tells Kaz that she can fix it if he helps her get revenge on the sex trafficking ring that kidnapped and killed her sister. Kaz tells Daniella that she needs to fix his problem first and if she can fix it he might help her, Kaz is very curious about Daniella because he doesn’t know if she’s working for another organization or not. He ultimately takes things into his own hands and find his own ways to find out about Daniella

Really enjoyed this one. The mmc is a bit cold at times, but still really good.
Weirdly I read this book last as I didn’t fancy it but I enjoyed it the most. Yes there are a few issues with it, a few mistakes and things that aren’t explained. For example what happened to Daniella’s parents, her nonna brought her and her sister up but it never says what happened to them. Her nonna had two children, but I don’t know anything about one of them. In the second book Dani hates Dimi and he says it’s because he had to punish his cousin Kazimir it’s not. It’s because he threatened to kill him if Daniella refused to marry him!!!! Charming!
Then there’s the plot. The plot is ridiculous, sorry. Dani wants revenge for her sister who was murdered, so she breaks into a known murderer and Bratva’s house Kazimir, and blackmails him into helping her get revenge. 😂😂😂 Good job he fancied her straight away otherwise he would have killed her! Who breaks into a known Bratva’s house? Kazimir at first doesn’t trust Dani and makes her work for him at his company in the day, then at night he breaks into her house and watches her sleep. Erm creepy much?
Of course they are soon having endless mind numbingly boring s*x everywhere, and falling in love. Yawn…. While I really liked Dani she’s really stupid at times and makes stupid decisions that Kazimir has to rescue her from. The plot with the traffickers is beyond ridiculous as well. They aren’t going to put online on the dark web where the girls are they’ve kidnapped, and what time they’re leaving a station! They’re really not!
Having said all of that I still loved it and it’s definitely my favourite.

Vengeful Dreams is Book 1 of the Vlasov Bratva by Alexa Michaels. This is Kazimir and Daniella's story and a dark romance. Daniella Barone's twenty-year old sister Cady had went missing and the authorities had found her body with other trafficked women in Vegas. Daniella who is twenty-four had been trying to get the authorities to arrest the men who had took her sister Cady, but they refused. Daniella had went to Kazimir Vlasov's business to speak with him and she was denied an appointment. She even spoke with his right-hand Pavel Lebedev, but he was no help. Daniella knew Kazimir was a Russian called The Ice Killer. This is who she needed to help her. Daniella works for Barlow Inc. as a data analyst. She disabled Kazimir's security at his penthouse, got in waiting for his return, so she could speak with him. That is when Kazimir hires Daniella to work for him to fix his problems and he would help Daniella with her problems. Daniella is smart and feisty and Kazimir calls her "His Little Thief". Kazimir is dark and ruthless, but Daniella's protector. The characters and story was so wonderful. I really enjoyed.

"You broke into my life, you took all the broken pieces, and you arranged them back together."
Kicking off a series of interconnected books in a great way. This book was amazing and so well written. The descriptions of people and places I could picture it all in my head. The characters main and side, are awesome. This author does such a good job of being able to tell how the characters feel about each other, and I loved how they interacted with each other. This book had me ready to cry, laugh, get a little "hot"!
This book is about Daniella a beautiful ballerina, and computer whiz, and she needs the help of Kazimir the deadly man of the Bratva. Daniella wants revenge against a mafia family, and she knows Kazimir can help but she has to convince him to do this. I loved how strong Daniella was and she knew what she wanted and was going to get it one way or another. She loves hard and protects those she loves. Kazimir is a hot bratva man who has had a rough life but has such a soft side I love his side hobby and totally didn't expect it. I was in tears for little Kazimir growing up, but he has come so far. I love finding out things you would never expect about a character. There are so many other people involved in this story, Kazimir's right hand man, and his family along with Daniella's grandmother and cousins. There are some sad parts, but the book totally ends in such a good way and things happened I didn't see happening at all.
I'm excited to see where this series goes and getting to know more of the family.

Ooohhh... This one was a spicy one as there is loads of action and things in general happening.
An Obsessed Bratva man and a sweet dancer who wants revenge for what happened to her sister.
This book pulls you in right from that start where we see Daniella doing her best to get an appointment with one of the most ruthless men in the bratva.
It was absolutely fascinating and also terrifying to see Daniella do her best and have a resolve to meet Kaz no matter what.
I really admired her for how courageous she was, for how she had her plan all set and found the best man to do it while also being stubborn enough to make him agree to what she wanted.
Kaz is ruthless and cold but it's expected of him as he is part of a very dangerous organisation.
But as Kaz and Dani strike a mutually beneficial bargain to help each other, it is obvious that Dani is in dangerous waters now yet the way she stands up to Kaz, starts making kaz crazy for her.
Slowly fascination turns to stalking behaviour and soon Kaz is obsessed with Dani.
Oh my... The way Kaz is over the top protective about her and also territorial over her, had me breathless with all the intensity.
It's just so hot when a man who doesn't care about anything and is a brutal man, makes you the center of his world and is ready to cross any and every boundary for you, while being obsessed over making you his completely.
Ahhh.... Kaz and Dani were 🔥🔥
That epilogue at the end definitely makes things interesting as we know Dmitri, the future Bratva head is next. Can't wait to read his book next. Loved this one.

I really enjoyed this book! I’ve read a few of Alexa Michaels books and it’s always awesome to see the growth of a writer. The story was filled out. Support characters had good backgrounds. The spice is like a 3-4 depending on your rating.
I love a possessive, growly, bratva/mafia MMC. Touch her and ☠️ vibes are always a must for these books! Nobody wants the hero. Who wants a man to put the entire world first? We all want the morally gray man. Someone that would burn the entire world for us! Kaz is definitely that man! Daniella is feisty and bratty. I liked that she had a backbone. I was a little worried she wouldn’t be able to back it up, but then she did.
Daniella isn’t afraid to stand up for Kaz and protect him just like he protects her. Even going so far as to stand up to the Pakhan verbally.
My reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 honestly came down to the ending. It felt rushed. The situation with Nadia was a little lackluster in my opinion. I enjoyed how we came full circle with Nadia! Even with baby Zoey being brought into the story line. The decisions that were made were super Spur of the moment though and it left me feeling a little blah about the subject.
I do look forward to reading more Alexa Michaels books and continuing to see her stories unfold. I’m looking forward to Dimi’s book!

Bratva romance. Insta-attraction. No 3rd act breakup. FMC is 24. MMC is 31. They’re both so mature imo and loved them so much.
Summary:
Dani breaks into Kaz’ apartment and informs him about a security breach in his tech company. She bargains with him that if he kills the men who trafficked and killed her little sister, she’ll fix the breach. Kaz brings her into his company and makes her fix things while he tracks down the men. They eventually start dating. One day, Dani goes to the place where the polish mafia is (they’re the ones responsible). She puts herself in danger and Kaz happens to be there too and gets her out. He takes her to her grandmas home and tells her, her cousins, and her grandma to pack everything essential in fifteen minutes. Kaz takes Dani to his place and the others to his uncles place. Kaz is summoned by the pakhan where he gets 62 lashes on his already bad back. He gets taken back home and the next morning Dani freaks out. At this point they’re already really in love with each other but they haven’t said it. Kaz tells Dani they have to get married and she agrees. On their wedding day, Kaz needs to go take care of the polish mafia and tells Dani this. Dani goes to help Nadia the single mom when she calls her. It was an ambush. Nadia gets killed and Dani gets taken. Kaz saves her and they go home and get married. They adopt Nadia’s baby girl.
