I'm torn between love and hate feelings for this heart-throbbing thriller!

The tempo is incredibly high! The mind-blowing pacing between past and present, escalating pressure, climax, shocking revelations, and WTH ending are highly enjoyable, almost making me want to give this book five stars. However, this book contains some of the most hateable characters I've encountered in a long time. Of course, the culprit is despicable - you want to punch them in the face - but even the victim and supporting characters are extremely dislikable, which makes their motives seem a little far-fetched.

Without giving too much away, there are plot holes that don't make sense, and I found it nonsensical that only one person would be caught while others walk away. I'll stop here to avoid revealing too much. Just go in blind and form your own theories and opinions!

The story revolves around golden girl Brooke Goodwin, who always maintains great looks, perfect grades, and an intense extracurricular program, appearing to be the perfect student, daughter, and friend until her world is shaken to the core by an incident six months ago. A tragic boat accident during a party she secretly organized at her parents' summer house takes the lives of one of her old classmates and her arch-nemesis, Claire.

Claire's brother blames Brooke, threatening her in public places in front of her friends. On top of that, an unknown number keeps calling her daily, slashing her car tires, and sticking newspaper clippings about the accident to her car.

Brooke doesn't mention these threats to anyone, including her close friends and family, dealing with them alone. All she wants is to leave the tragedy behind by starting college and driving out of town. For six months, she's been lying low, living in social shadows. But when her best friend Jen insists on attending a beach party, bribing her with the news that her longtime crush Logan (Claire's ex-boyfriend) will be there, she decides to give it a go. Jen promises they'll be home before curfew and won't drink or get into trouble. What harm could come from having a little fun to celebrate graduation?

However, after the party, when a Bronco tailgates their car and the unknown caller escalates their threats, Brooke realizes she must do everything in her power to survive and beat her tormentor at their own game!

I'm giving this 3.5 stars, rounding up to 4 because of the heart-throbbing pace and tension-building that pushed me to finish this book in just a few hours in one sitting. While I'm not entirely satisfied with some of the explanations and unexpected turns of events, it's a very fast, easy, and unputdownable read that I recommend to YA thriller lovers!

Many thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Fire for sharing this heart-throbbing YA thriller's digital reviewer copy with me in exchange for my honest thoughts.

There is not one single character which I could stand. Each and every one is a backstabbing, entitled, spoiled brat. They are all antagonists in my opinion. Thus, it was impossible to have sympathy for any of their petty angsts and/or plights. OMG.. Just, no.

The narration by Justis Bolding was subpar. The voice she did for the character named Jenna sounded masculine. In addition, the robotic voice she used to disguise the "villainous" person's speech was beyond irritating. Like nails across a chalkboard.

As if it needs saying, No Place Left to Hide was not for me.

Genre ~ YA thriller
Setting ~ Oregon
Publication date ~ January 7, 2025
Publisher ~ Sourcefire Books
Est Page Count ~ 264 (32 chapters)
Audio length ~ 5 hours 45 minutes
Narrator ~ Justis Bolding
POV ~ single 1st, present tense
Featuring ~ now and then timeline, secrets, lies

A girl died at a party that Brooke hosted last summer at her family's lake house. Now, an unknown caller is calling an excessive amount of times a day and things are being done to her car. Who could it be and what do they know? The then timeline will slowly reveal what Brooke wishes could stay hidden forever.

This was full on high school drama with entitled meanness and snobbery. I was so mad at her for knocking the beach house that the party was hosted at. Hello, sand is literally the backyard! I'd rather have a small house on the beach than a big house on a lake, but maybe that's just me. There were also some OTT scenes, like when they were on the highway for instance. It's pretty much a one day plot, so the tension was high and the race was fast to the satisfying conclusion.

Overall, I didn't like it as much as her debut, but I was engaged enough to see how it would all play out. I hadn't seen the culprit coming so whoop whoop for that.

Side note ~ I'm not knocking them at all because they're super reliable, but I found it odd that Brooke drove a Subaru. She's a fancy pancy rich girl that got into Yale, so I'd expect her to drive something a little more high end based on her family dynamics. Again, not knocking them 😬

Narration notes:
I did not listen to this one, but am just giving the info above for reference. I have listened to Justis before and if I remember correctly she'll sound age appropriate.

Notes as I was reading:
**the swearing is much less noticeable in book form**
Am I a swear prude? Is that even a thing? 😂
I listened to chapter 1 via TTS and the f word is used 5x, just in the 1st chapter! Pulled up my kindle copy and the total count is 139. The book is under 300 pages, so that does seem excessive.

I am not a big fan of swearing in my YA reads, but I put my thoughts on that matter aside while I read it because I was super intrigued by the blurb and I loved That's Not My Name.

2.5 🌟 fine, but wayyyyyyyy YA. I was expecting something more like That’s Not My Name, but this just didn’t hit. I would have loved it in Middle School! It’s a good book for younger readers for sure

Mean girls on CRACK!

In No Place Left to Hide, we are following Brooke. Brooke is THEE girl. With strict parents she has an image to maintain and that is too always be perfect. Perfect life and grades she can’t ever slip up. But when a horrible incident occurs that taints Brookes life, she just wants to start fresh, get into her chosen university and start anew. But someone is out for revenge, and they want the answers from Brooke, which puts her ‘perfect’ life at serious stakes.

My goodness this book was extremely high school and soooo catty! I love me some Mean Girls back and forth, but it was so tedious and egregious in this read, I kept finding myself rolling my eyes to high heavens.

The first third of the book was so draining and truthfully reading the book in Brooke’s perspective was headache inducing. She was not a likeable character by any means and not even in an entertaining way. She just sounded so whiny and boy hungry and frankly needed a high reality check.

The book did start to pick up when we get to the scenes of Brooke and her best friend Jena being tailed on the road and the author did a great job creating tension and uncertainty. I became locked in and more invested.

Although I predicated some twists there was one that blindsided me and I applause Ms Lally on throwing me ‘off track’ (get it… 😉)

The ending was tied up neatly as I suspected and deserved and I did enjoy the mixed media text format for the last chapter, but I could have done with an epilogue to fully wrap it up.

⋆。°✩WHAT I LIKED⋆。°✩
➽Evenly paced
➽Great atmospheric and tension at some parts
➽Unhinged characters
➽Dual Before and Now chapters

⋆。°✩WHAT I DIDNT LIKE⋆。°✩
➽Too many immaturities
➽Very boy obsessed
➽Would have liked a more extended ending/ epilogue

This book is definitely YA but it felt way to juvenile at times. I can see more of pre teens enjoying this way more.

2.5 stars! This unfortunately missed the mark for me, even though I was excited to read it because I've heard wonderful things about the author's thrillers. On a positive note, the pacing was decent, and I did read it in one sitting. I also got major Pretty Little Liars vibes, which I loved. But there was not enough suspense, and I thought it'd be much scarier. There wasn't a big plot twist, and it was obvious what the big "reveal" would be. None of the characters were likable, and I didn't find myself rooting for any of them.

4.5 stars! 💫 O. M. G. No Place Left to Hide had me hooked from the first page to the very last! Huge shoutout to RBmedia and NetGalley for the ALC! 🙌 It’s a YA thriller packed with jaw-dropping twists and all the high-drama suspense you can handle. One minute, I'm like, “I totally got this,” and then—BOOM—twist after twist, leaving me shook! 🚨

✧ High-Stakes Drama 🔥
✧ Secrets & Lies 🤫
✧ Twisted Revenge 😈
✧ Suspense That Won't Quit ⏳
✧ Heart-Stopping Chase Scenes 🏃‍♀️
✧ Unreliable Narrators 🤥

Okay, so here’s the sitch: Brooke's life was perfect—perfect grades, perfect everything… until one wild party at her lake house turned into a nightmare. Someone ends up dead, and now she’s got some serious consequences coming her way. Someone’s lurking in the shadows, and it’s turning her life into a full-blown horror show!

The drama? OMG, it was so high school, so messy, but so entertaining. I was ALL in for the ride. The pacing? A++! BUT. The characters… um, yeah. They were all kinds of problematic. I couldn’t root for ANY of them. Brooke, poor girl, was stuck in a cycle of bad decisions, and honestly, I was like, “Can someone just do something smart for once?!”

As for the ending? 😵 WHOA. Didn’t see that coming. Megan really knows how to keep you on your toes! The twists were INSANE, though there were a couple of plot holes that left me scratching my head (like, um, why did only one person get caught?). But despite that, I was STILL glued to the page the whole time! 📚💨

And I have to give major praise to the narrator, Justis Bolding. 🎧 She brought the intensity of the story to life in such a gripping way—her pacing, her tone, the way she conveyed the tension… it was perfect for this kind of thriller. I was totally immersed in the story because of her performance! 🌟

Would I recommend this? Heck yeah, if you’re into YA thrillers that will keep you up at night with all the suspense, drama, and revenge. Get on it, like, NOW! 🙌

"𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥."

Started off slow (the first 40% really dragged) 🐌, but once things started moving—I couldn't put it down 🔥.
Sure, we all kind of expected what would happen… but how it all unfolded? That’s what kept me hooked 🤯. It was intense and genuinely entertaining 😮‍💨.

I have to say, I couldn’t sympathize with any of the characters 😒.
Brooke? A manipulative mess—definitely obsessive and willing to do anything to get what she wants 😵‍💫🫣. Honestly, for someone in her position, she was unbelievably dumb 🙃.
Claire? Just irritating 🙄. Honestly, she brought it on herself.
Jena? Boring and annoying 😩.
Dylan? Never liked him from the start 😶.

All in all, it was a fun, fast-paced read ✨. Not perfect, but definitely entertaining.🧡

Megan Lally has officially earned a spot among my favorite thriller authors 🔥🖤. I’ll be reading anything she puts out next, no doubt!

Another book by Megan Lally—let’s see where she takes me this time 👀🧡

There’s an incident at Brookes lake house & somebody dies. There are some people that blame her and begin stalking and anonymously harassing her. Then, after another party, they start following her in the car.

With this one, I knew who the stalkers were most of the time, but it is still very high suspense. I wasn’t sure if she would survive or not, won’t spoil if she does survive or not. It had my heart racing for a bit too.

There’s also a twist at the end that I didn’t really expect.

I feel like this would be a good horror/thriller movie due to the creepy nature of it all and high suspense if it were to be adapted into a movie.

Thank you to netgalley for this free advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Okay this was fun but not as mindblowing as the authors debut!

We meet Brooke, who’s ex ?friend? Claire died at a party she threw about a year ago.
Alternating timelines take us through a current stalking and harassment of Brooke by someone who wants her to “admit what she did” to Claire, alongside the timeline of the night of the party where Claire died. It’s written with enough cliffhangers at most chapters that you continuously want to keep reading.

The breadcrumbs were a little too obvious for me, and it was clear who was behind the whole thing by about halfway through. I really wish we didn’t get as many clues and it may have been more jaw dropping once the plot twists were revealed.

The writing style is very easy and basic, in the best way. At times it felt very catty and very high school, but it is a YA thriller so I guess that makes sense. It’s just worth noting that it felt much more YA than her debut.

Still, a very fast paced and easy thriller that kept me engaged and entertained. It’s worth a read but not a must read in my opinion. I will definitely continue to read Megan Lally’s future releases.

Ah! Another interesting book by Megan Lally. While this wasn't as good as her first book, I still had an interesting time. 3.5 Stars

What Worked: This is one of those thrillers that is difficult to discuss without giving too much away in relation to the plot so I'll just share a few things I enjoyed. Lally is a great writer. She's able to craft stories that draw readers in. Surprisingly, I liked the small twist on this one. It created some laugh out loud moments. This may not have been intentional on Lally's end, but I was literally sharing a play by play with my coworker because Brooke was off the chain. While I was completely impressed with the delivery, the premise of this one worked and was fun.

What Didn't Work: To be fair, this book has its highs and lows. The pacing was off in some areas and felt a little less consistent than Lally's first book. I think that it also requires the reader to suspend their disbelief for some things to read as realistic. Additionally, the stakes didn't feel as high as they did her in debut.

I wish I could provide a more thorough review of this one; however, because of the nature of the plot, it's difficult to say anything without spoiling it. While it isn't as strong as her debut, I do think that it's still enjoyable and I'm really looking to checking out more of her works in the future.

I'm a HUGE fan of Lally's debut book (I actually made it a traveling book in my book club LiterALLy BOOKiSh) , but No Place Left to Hide fell very short in comparison. The biggest hurdle was the inconsistent pacing - I just couldn't get over it. The conclusion felt extremely rushed but the beginning of the story moved slowly. The characters were not likable or relatable. There is a part that's bugging me but I don't want to spoil anything. The twist at the end was semi-redeeming. This was my most anticipated upcoming read and sadly I'm walking away disappointed. It hurts to give this less than 3 stars but it earned a solid 2. Thank you to NetGalley for offering this title in their catalog. The opinions expressed above are entirely my own.

This is great propaganda for why rich people shouldn't be allowed to procreate.

Honestly the more I think about this book the more annoyed I get. However I would like to start with my biggest takeaway from this book:
Megan Lally is a very talented writer. There are a lot of things about this book that made me kind of dislike it, but the writing is very good.

This book is about Brooke Goodwin (a name you will never forget because she literally will not let you). A (little less than a) year before the start o the novel, Brooke was throwing a party at her family's lake house. At this party Brooke's nemesis, Claire Heck, ends up dying in what is ruled an accident. In current day, it's becoming increasingly clear to Brooke that someone doesn't believe Claire's death was an accident. They've been harassing her for months, which all culminates in Brooke (and her best friend Jena) getting tailgated on a rural highway. The girls have to fight to stay on the road and eventually fight to stay alive.
It's honestly a really good plot. It's engaging, it's intense, it really uses the stranded and isolated setting well. The plot of this book is the best part of the entire story, and if it weren't for the end I think it could've low-key saved this book for me. Lally knows how to write tension and danger SO WELL.

The real problem here is the characters. I. hate. every. single. one. And this is so confusing to me because the characters in Lally's debut were so likeable and interesting, even the literal villain was sympathetic. The characters in this book are TRASH. They are EVIL. All of them!!! This is the reason I keep getting more annoyed the more I think about this book, because I just keep getting more annoyed about the characters.

But anyway I digress. I'll rant about them later. I can't get into that without spoiling the entire book, so all I'll say about it is that the characters ALL turn into the worst people ever by the end of the book and I'm left with not a single person to root for. I think I'm supposed to think the characters at the end are the "good guys", but I also hate them. They are also terrible people. All this book really ended up giving me was a bunch of people I think deserve way worse than they got.
However!! Lally does a really good job of making the characters switch rapidly between sympathetic and intolerable. I started the book hating Brooke, and then when we meet Claire I was suddenly on Brooke's side (despite how awful she is) because of how EVIL Claire is. It is genuinely such a good example of character work, even if I hated every character.

I guess I didn't really digress....
Anyway.
The setting of this is so well done. It's spooky and isolated and you can FEEL the fear in Brooke's POV. I read this book in two days because the plot was so intense that I needed to know what happened. Maybe it's because I'm always a little worried about accidentally driving off a cliff, but the setting of this really works for me as a thriller.
I also think the past timeline was really well-utilized. It didn't feel like it detracted from the current timeline, and I still found it really interesting. It doesn't feel irritating when it switches from this high-caliber chase scene to this low stakes party scene, because the party somehow doesn't feel low stakes (even though MOST of it is).

Now I'm gonna spoil it all (with tags of course) because I just really need to rant about these characters and then forget they ever existed.

And I'll add tags to this part too, but without spoiling too much, I'll just say that this entire book shows exactly how you can fuck up your kids by spending their entire lives forcing them to be "perfect". Both Brooke and Claire are the way they are because of their parents and I fully believe that.
The spoilers lol

So overall, I didn't really ENJOY this book per se, but I still would recommend this simply because Lally is such a fantastic writer. I really did like her debut and I will absolutely be reading whatever she puts out next. I just can't in good faith say I liked this book. Also genuinely Fuck Brooke's dad. Hate that man.

Sometimes I think maybe I read too much into books lol. This was maybe too much but now it goes into the void with all my other over-analysations. The burden of being a Thought Daughter.

*********
This is like if gossip girl didn’t have a single likeable character.
It is however a great example of why we shouldn’t let the rich procreate.

RTC but I’ll just say now that I don’t know if I liked the book but I do know that I wish harm on every single fucking character in this book.

I listened to the audiobook of this one and the narrator did a good job. This is.a quick read and a fast paced thriller. I didn’t think it was as twisty as some reviews (I saw the ending coming) but it was still the kind of book that keeps you glued to the pages. This one is hard to review since it’s hard to talk about the plot without giving anything away. Brooke has worked hard to be perfect and achieve her dream of Yale and it comes down to today Ivy day. She doesn’t want to go to the party to celebrate the Ivy acceptances even if she gets in, but her best friend is persistent. Unfortunately for Brooke some secrets won’t stay hidden. This one is a fun read and quite entertaining. I gave it3.5 stars rounded up because it was action packed and a fun read.

**4.5-stars**

After reading Megan Lally's debut, That's Not My Name, as my first book of 2024 and giving it a strong 5-star rating, I knew she was an author I wanted more from.

No Place Left to Hide is her upcoming 2025-release, with an expected publication date of January 7th, but I couldn't wait that long. Once I had my ARC, graciously received from Sourcebooks Fire, I knew I would be getting to it soon.

Unsurprisingly, this was so gripping and absolutely overflowing with twists and turns. It took me no time to read at all, and now I must wait for more Lally. It really was a double-edged sword reading this so early.

This felt a little inspired by the true life Murdaugh murders in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. I don't know if that was intentional by the author, but I was definitely picking up details and connections that made me think of that case.

It also brought to mind Holly Jackson's Five Survive. If you had fun with that, you should check this out too.

You may be wondering what it's all about, and I'm going to tell you as briefly I can; trying not to gush on about it.

So, we're following MC, Brooke, and to her, image is everything. She comes from a very successful family. Her father has been involved in law in their county for decades and is well respected. Her Mom is the principal of their prestigious school.

There was an incident with a classmate a year ago that almost ruined it all for Brooke. Luckily, she was able to move on from it and has just been accepted into her dream school.

She's been laying low, but with the Yale acceptance, is finally convinced by her best friend, Jena, to attend an Ivy Party, to celebrate along with the rest of their classmates.

It's been a while since Brooke attended a party, and even though she's hesitant, she's looking forward to letting loose for a bit. At the party though, she is confronted by the brother of the classmate she had the incident with last year.

He blames her for what happened to his sister, and from there, everything begins to go downhill quickly.

There are screaming matches, accusations, threats, car chases, police involvement; it's pretty edge of your seat until the very BITTER end.

I love teen drama. I love rich people behaving badly. I love having a front seat to it all and that's exactly what Lally delivered me in this one.

Once I started, I could not put this down. Don't get me wrong, none of the characters are likable and I wasn't rooting for anyone, but boy, did I want to know all the tea!

While this is very different plot-wise to That's Not My Name, Lally's intriguing storytelling style was still on full display.

I didn't give this a full 5-stars, because there were some minor things that didn't quite work for me, but overall, it was a very successful, fun reading experience.

I would recommend this to any fan of YA Thrillers. Particularly, if you love really twisted stories.

Thank you to the publisher, Sourcebooks Fire, for providing me with a copy to read and review. I can't wait to see what more Readers think of this one, and more importantly, I can't wait for more from Megan Lally!

3.5⭐️ Brooke is determined to have the perfect life, but when an “incident” occurs, she’ll have to work even harder to maintain her image. Soon Brooke is receiving mysterious phone calls from a stalker who claims to know what happened, all while trying to win over her crush and escape to an Ivy with her and her family’s imagine intact.

I am such a huge fan of Megan Lally’s debut That’s Not My Name, a book they easily made my top reads of 2024. It therefore pains me to say that this much anticipated follow up, while still bingeable and fun, didn’t quite meet the bar the previous book set. While it doesn’t lack for drama, twists or intense plot lines, it did feel way over the top at times particularly in the second half of the book. I also struggled to connect to the characters as literally every single one is unlikeable.

That said, I flew through this one on audio. If you are looking for a popcorn thriller with some subtle “scream” vibes, I would suggest giving this one a try. My favorite part - the sing song automated voice was creepy AF. It’s giving “where are you Mrs. Preston vibes,” and is reason enough to read this one via audio on a cold winters day.*

Read if you like:
▪️rich behaving badly
▪️dual timeline
▪️unlikeable characters
▪️epistolary format

Thank you Recorded Books for the advanced copy.

"No Place Left to Hide" is a fast-paced, unputdownable thriller that gradually unveils its story through a dual timeline, making it perfect for YA mystery thriller enthusiasts. Last summer, a tragic incident occurred at a party hosted by Brooke at her family's lake house, resulting in a girl's death. Now, Brooke is plagued by anonymous calls threatening to expose the truth of that night. With her image at stake, she has strived for perfection in her grades, appearance, and life, particularly after the "incident." Having secured a spot at her dream university, she looks forward to a new beginning. However, her resolve is tested when a bonfire celebration beckons, offering a chance to see her crush. The night takes a harrowing turn when a truck begins to tailgate them aggressively on the way home, leaving Brooke convinced that someone is determined to unearth the truth. This YA high school mystery thriller captivated me with its suspense and I eagerly anticipate exploring Megan Lally's other work, "That's Not My Name."

It wasn't interesting; I guessed everything, although I did come up with a few plotlines.

I think if you've read a lot of thrillers, this book won't appeal to you.

I kept expecting something more intriguing and exciting.

But the book had a good atmosphere.

3.5 stars. That’s Not My Name by this author was in my top favorite reads of 2024 so I had some high expectations for this one! It definitely didn’t hit as hard for me as TNMN did BUT I had such a fun time with it and would definitely recommend!! This felt very much like a cattier version of I Know What You Did Last Summer 🙈 It felt predictable to me in ways, but I still was on the edge of my seat and kept catching myself going “okay one more chapter, one more chapter, one more chapter” because I couldn’t wait to get to the bottom of what was going on.

No Place Left to Hide was a fast-paced read with a compelling mystery following two girls who find themselves targeted on an isolated road.

Brooke Goodwin has worked hard to repair her reputation since "the incident" that threatened to take it all away. Getting into her dream university is just icing on the cake so when her classmates want to celebrate their college acceptances, Brooke can't say no. After a perfect night, Brooke and her best friend begin the ninety minute drive back home when an old truck starts aggressively tailing them. Someone thinks they know what really happened the night of "the incident" and they won't stop until the truth is exposed.

No Place Left to Hide alternates chapters between present day and six months prior when "the incident" took place. The dual timelines was a great choice as it helped build up to the reveal of why someone was after Brooke. In the flashback chapters we learn something major happened at a party Brooke hosted to celebrate the start of senior year. It doesn't take long for us to learn what happened between the clues revealed in the two timelines although the full truth of what happened does take longer to come out. I was really invested in the flashback chapters, wondering how we'd go from a fun party to something much darker.

The present day chapters are where the bulk of the suspense and action in the story are. After a few chapters of set up, we get to the part with Brooke and Jena trapped in Brooke's car as someone is chasing them down which is the majority of the present day section. With the two of them in danger, Brooke reveals to Jena that someone has been harassing her for months after the special investigation into what happened rules it an accident. It becomes clear that whoever Brooke's stalker is, they're also the one chasing her but the author does a good job keeping their identity shielded. The ending of the book is incredibly well done and contained several twists I didn't see coming. We also get an epilogue of sorts where we see the planning and aftermath of what happened which was an excellent choice.

Overall No Place Left to Hide was a fantastic read and I would highly recommend it if you're in the mood for a quick thriller.

Not as good as That's Not My Name (a book I recommend to everyone who ever asks for a thriller rec, by the way), but still pretty engaging, especially the second half.

It took me a hot minute to get into this because I realised early on that I wouldn't be liking the characters, but I wanted to see where everything would go.

The pacing was a bit off in the first half, but the second made up for it, and made me want to give this a full 4 stars, but I can't ignore what came before, so I'm settling on a 3.5

Was it worth the read though? Yess, I love Megan Lally's writing style and will read anything she puts out. Plus, there were so many twists that I didn't see coming, and that ending left me going "what???". So I would still recommend it, but read her debut book first so you know how incredible her stories can get.

This was my first thriller ever and it was giving Pretty Little Liars which was one of my favorite shows ever.

I will say I was intrigued the entire time and just couldn't stop and now I want to read more thriller because I have a feeling I am going to love this genre!

I think this was the perfect entry way book for me to read but I don't think it blew me away entirely at the end. I'd recommend this to anyone who is just starting out in this genre!

ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed the whole present to past part of this book! Each memory gives more answers to the mystery behind what happened on the lake in the past. I found some part to be fairly predictable but others that I didn’t see coming! The characters were well developed and the setting is perfect for the story. I would recommend to anyone who likes mysteries and psychological thrillers involving young adults!
