My older brother's best friend is my new neighbor at the ranch.
Will he finally notice I exist, igniting the romance I've always yearned for?
Spark better darn well fly!

Ingrid. On Halloween, my favorite holiday, I was informed my brother’s best friend, who is also my lifelong crush, would be moving into the house next door. The kicker is it’s just in time for Christmas. So, guess what I’ll be doing on Black Friday? Not shopping. I’ll be helping load up a storage unit and moving Callum’s belongings into his new residence. Meanwhile, he thinks of me as nothing more than Lachlan’s little sister. He’s a serial dater with a certain type. Unfortunately for me, it isn’t brown hair and green eyes. I’ll have to keep my feelings locked down tight as we work together to decorate the ranch for the holidays. Hopefully, I can get through the new year with my heart intact.

Callum. Thanksgiving is over, and I get to move out of my dad’s house—finally. My new place belongs to my best friend. This means I’ll now be neighbors with his younger sister. Keeping my feelings for her in the friend zone was a struggle when we lived in different parts of town, but now it will be agony. I want her more than I can verbalize, but I can’t lose my best friend or my found family in the process.

My Topaz Falls series is almost complete, which is set in a small town in northwest Montana near Glacier National Park.

I am from the Pacific Northwest, where my family loves to have our own adventures.

I love to read and was a reader long before I was a writer. I am easily entertained and will read pretty much everything. I strongly believe that collecting books and reading books are two separate hobbies ;).

My older brother's best friend is my new neighbor at the ranch.
Will he finally notice I exist, igniting the romance I've always yearned for?

Topaz Falls has me dreaming about how nice it would be to live in, the characters and the sense of community spirit that is written about so beautifully by Taryn.
Callum and Ingrid are in that predicament where they absolutely want and need each other, but things have always stood in the way, especially the friendship between Callum and Lachlan.
In the end, close proximity and love wins! Their chemistry is undeniable, their banter is hilarious and had me giggling, and they both have such loveable characters that are destined to be together.

You fall in love with both Callum and Ingrid, but also the side characters that make up the beautiful Topaz falls.

Tropes:
- Brother's best friend
- Small town romance
- Banter
- Neighbour/Close proximity

I absolutely loved Callum & Ingrid’s story! After reading Eyes Like a Hurricane, I was so so excited to find out more about these two!

The book is giving the wintery-est, cozy small town romance vibes, that were absolutely adorable. The brothers best friend PLUS neighbors has to be one of my all time favorite trope combos, and this did not disappoint by any means.

Callum is so incredibly loyal and considerate. He is just doing his best to help with his Dad, and take care of those around him. He’s always loved Ingrid but has never wanted act on his feelings in gear of ruining his friendship with Lachlan, who happens to be Ingrid’s protective, older brother. Ingrid has also been harboring a long time crush on Callum, and has had to watch him with women over the years because she thinks he only sees her as his best friend’s little sister. The moment she starts, or tries to date; Callum realizes it is now or never to decide what his and Ingrid’s future has in store.

The chemistry between these two is incredible; their banter is hilarious! They had me cracking up through this entire book. Along with the banter, there are so many moments where I couldn’t help but think over and over that these two were made for one another. I love that Callum is an “I don’t share” kind of guy. Callum is so sweet to Ingrid, even if he has a gruff exterior. Ingrid is so wonderful. She is the most thoughtful and considerate person there is. Ingrid is perfect person to help Callum feel loved and open up to receive help in carrying some of the the heavy load he feels he is carrying. I love how gentle and warm Ingrid is with those she cares about.

After each book, I am falling more and more in love with Topaz Falls. Taryn has created a place that feels so incredibly like home, where each character has a place and feels valued by those around them. This true sense of community that has been created is incredibly special. Plus, don’t get me started on some of the side characters. They add so much life and laughter to this book

Thank you so so much Taryn for the ARC! I’m here for the ride. If you write it, best be sure I will read it. I’m thankful for the opportunity to support you and the incredible stories that you write.

I'm waiting for this one to come out because Brother's Best Friend is one of my favorite tropes, plus I really liked Callum in book 1. Official review to come after I read it.

I loved this book. I'm a big fan of older brother's best friend and the tension the relationship causes between the main characters and the siblings. The way Lachlan reacted caught me off guard in a good way. Tropes included are:
Older Brother's Best Friend
Coworkers
Neighbors
Veteran awareness

I loved learning more about Callum's back story and what makes him tick. At the beginning of the story, I wasn't sure I'd like him, but with each chapter, I realized he's a good guy.

I love how the epilogue sets us up for book 3! I can't wait to find out more about the tortured soul of Trent!

This book was one that I knew would be good the minute I read the first few chapters. I must say it got really really good really fast. The way their story unfolds so slow but so quickly at the same time is amazing. there are so many other elements in this book that keep the characters involved but always pining is just *chefs kiss* . Their chemistry through the entire book was amazing and I loved loved how each character had their own little quirks that stuck with them and added to the story. I really wish I could dive deep into this review and list all my favorite parts but it would not only take you a few hours to read the entire review but it would also spoil some of the best moments in the book. Amazing job Taryn Nikolic!

This series has completely reeled me in, and apparently, a cowboy romance was the exact distraction I didn't know I needed. After reading 'Eyes Like a Hurricane' by Taryn Nikolic, I fell in love with Aislin and Lachlan's story. Their romance alone made me want to know more about this tight-knit group of friends and family.

Book two, 'Skye Full of Stars', dives straight into Ingrid's quiet, long-standing crush on her brother's best friend and coworker, Callum.

I'm a sucker for holiday romances and emotionally awkward slow burns. Loving someone quietly, while secretly hoping they feel the same, is one of the most terrifying yet beautiful feelings. If you've ever experienced that kind of tension, this series will hit you right in the heart.

Set once again on the ranch in Topaz Falls, this coming-of-age love story picks up with Ingrid at Lachlan's annual Halloween Party. The tension between her and Callum begins to unfold. Ingrid has always lived in the shadow of her older brother, Lachlan. Callum is sweet, stoic, and loyal. He is just close enough to love, but just out of reach.

Reading from both Ingrid and Callum's perspectives made the story feel deeply personal and relatable. Falling in love with your best friend's little sister sounds like a recipe for disaster, but this slow burn was worth it. The holiday setting added a cozy atmosphere, and revisiting Topaz in a wintery glow gave the story a completely different feel from book one. In the best way!

Without spoiling anything, their moment at the Christmas tree farm?! It sealed the deal for me. Their shared compassion for animals, each other, and their small town community warmed my heart. Book three is already on my immediate TBR.

I am a Huge fan of small town romance and had very high hopes for this book. I will start by saying, I received a copy from Goodreads Giveaways and have not read the first book in the series. Not sure if that would have changed my opinion, but I found I didn’t care about these characters. Whether it be the MC or the plethora of side characters, i was just not connected. Also, the writing style was not my cup of tea. There were entire chapters that could have been whittled down to a few paragraphs and it was in desperate need of some editing.

This was a small town romance story that had me smiling and laughing the whole time I was reading. Even during the more serious parts of the book I was still smiling from the support Callum and Ingrid gave each other. Both characters are silly and adorable with how hard they try to keep their attraction from each other as well as their family, friends and everyone in the town. The people that reside in the town of Topaz Falls had me cracking up with all of their shenanigans and foolishness. I enjoyed reading Callum and Ingrid's story and am looking forward to reading the next book in the Topaz Falls series.

This is book 2 in my Topaz Falls series. Ingrid and Callum get to tell their story.

I spent a lot of time brainstorming ideas for scenes in this book with my kids. I take them on bike runs, and during that time we come up with funny ideas for me to add to scenes. During my youngest child's chemotherapy appointments she helped name the animals and came up with the breeds.

The tropes include:
- Older Brother's Best Friend
- Coworkers
- Neighbors
- Lifelong crush

My favorite people to write were the two groups of older people. The knitting ladies and the dad group had me laughing to myself as I was writing them. A few scenes are strongly influenced by events that have personally happened to me. I hope you enjoy this book.
