'It's the most wonderful time of the Lexie's back - in her most fun, magical and life-affirming story yet!' - Carmel Harrington

This Christmas, Lexie Byrne is about to find out the true meaning of love - and how far she must go to fight for it.

It's five days till Christmas. Just a hundred and twenty hours till Lexie is due to join Adam in the Cotswolds for his
dreaded ex-wife's wedding and start her new life there with him. Except that's not what she wants at all. It's just Adam doesn't know that yet!

The truth is that her life is here in Dublin - with baby Frances, the apple of her eye, and her best friend Annemarie, who needs her more than ever as her marriage teeters on the edge of a breakdown.

Then, when Lexie finally tracks down her late friend Máiréad's long-lost daughter, she knows it's now or never. But is there time for a road trip to the West of Ireland to perform a Christmas miracle or three before the dreaded wedding? And can she perform the greatest miracle of all - getting Adam to move to Dublin for her happily ever after?

What an amazing end to this series! I’ve absolutely loved reading all about Lexie, she has such beautiful Irish charm! I’ll be honest, I didn’t think any man would be good enough for her and I had huge doubts about Adam. However, Caroline brings this book together nicely, particularly towards the end. It made me laugh, it made me cry. I’ll miss Lexie. But I will recommend this series to everyone.

Oh, what a delight – this book made me laugh and cry, I loved it! Lexie and Annemarie with all their shenanigans and shared misery. Thankfully, they listened instead of giving each other advice. Sometimes all you want from a friend is support such as a pat on the back, a shoulder to cry on, a bump on the arm, simply knowing you are not alone.

And I'm glad they both were able to make up their own versions of 'normal' – whatever that may be. Not conforming, but redefining body imagery, and their marriage or relationship. With the risk of making this sound all too serious: no one needs sexism or toxic family members. Instead: be kind and pay it forward!

So yeah, this book very much deserves a place on my for-a-rainy-day shelf on Goodreads. Too bad we have to wait another year for the next in this series, assuming it will be another Christmas story.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of the book.

I have thoroughly enjoyed another book looking through the lens at Lexie Byrne's life. I was fortunate enough to be sent the previous book last year, and asked to pick this up for a review again this year - and I have thoroughly enjoyed both books.

I just love Lexie - she is relatable and you cannot help but just root for her. If I'm totally honest, I wasn't 100% sold on the middle of this book - reuniting Mairead's's ring and the saga around it, there were a few too many coincidences and 'really' moments around that whole part for me that I just had to shrug off as I genuinely enjoyed the writing, and I like the series too much to let this bother me - plus the book immediately redeemed itself in the final 75 pages around the wedding of Adam's ex-wife Martha and the events that happened in the final chapters.

A huge thanks to Black & White publishing for asking me to take part in this book tour - I enjoyed the book and read it in a day!

I was excited to catch up with Lexie in this new book. It feels like I know her having read the two previous books and having travelled with her through the various stages of her life in the quest to find love and happiness.

In this book Lexie and Adam have a baby daughter but are still struggling to blend their everyday lives as she remains in Dublin and he is still in the Cotswolds. Will love conquer all?

The book has a few storylines from Lexie tracking down her friend Mairead’s daughter to her attending the wedding of Adams ex wife. Ann Marie’s character was beautifully written as she faced her own problems but still remained a steadfast friend.

I loved the second part of the book which had me page-turning. Told with humour, fun and girl power this book is the perfect Christmas read .

Is It Actually Love for Lexie Byrne? (Aged 42 1/4) by Caroline Grace-Cassidy is the third and final book about Lexie Byrne. This instalment has a uniting Christmas feel to its drama and rekindling of broken relationships. The humour is still visible between the lines, adding another ‘easy-going’ style to the Lexie Byrne trilogy.

Lexie Byrne is about to find out the true meaning of love this Christmas and how far she must go to fight for it. It's five days till Christmas. Just a hundred and twenty hours till Lexie is due to join Adam in the Cotswolds for his dreaded ex-wife's wedding and start her new life there with him. But is there time for a road trip to the West of Ireland to perform a Christmas miracle or three before the dreaded wedding? And can she perform the greatest miracle of all - getting Adam to move to Dublin for her happily ever after?

It’s another light-hearted, escapist read for anyone into the chick-lit rom-com genre. It’s sad seeing this trilogy end, but all good things must come to an end, as they say.

I would firstly just like to say a big thank you to Black & White Publishing for forwarding me a paperback arc copy of this book, in return for my honest review.

This book is actually the third book in the ‘Lexie Byrne’ series but i think it can still very easily be read as a stand alone without any problems at all.

I found this book to be such an easy read and i quickly found myself being pulled in and having to turn the pages quicker and quicker so that i could find out what was going to happen and how the story would unfold!

As i was reading this book it had me feeling all the feels and laughing one minute and shedding a tear the next!

A wonderful story, that i really enjoyed reading…….

I always read Lexie Byrne at Christmas time, it’s like opening up a stocking to festive cheer, romcom happiness and the fact I want to pull my hair out at all the awful people in her life!

I think my soft spot of Lexi is hugely influenced by the fact I work in retail too, and I absolutely dread the Christmas period😅 But diving into a Caroline Cassidy book is like a breath of fresh air! It’s not Christmas without binging one!

Although I’m not usually a fan of a chatty writing style, Caroline’s is the perfect mix of chatty and relatable which helps to keep the story moving! A must read for every romcom lover at Christmas!

This was the perfect ending to a fantastic trilogy, I’m so glad it happened how it did! I can’t picture the series ending any other way!
