This is everything you could want from a paranormal romance, and more! Scarlet has so many responsibilities and is doing her best. She’s a hardworking, street-smart girl who is getting over a bad breakup. When she meets Zeke, a kindhearted reaper, she doesn’t panic. And somehow she doesn’t die, either. This book is filled with interesting characters, an action-packed plot, and lots of fun.

What an adventure, and my new favorite Boogieman!
This was really good. Action packed with a side of romance. This is the story of Zeke, a reaper, and Scarlet. Scarlet is a bartender and college student trying to survive, grieving her dad, and worrying about her mom. She meets Zeke when she is supposed to die and he meant to guide her soul, but things happened and her fate changed. They have an instant connection, but things are far from easy for them as they find themselves tangled in quite the mess. With the help of friends, particularly my new favorite Boogieman, they battle hell itself to survive. The side characters made this story so much better, and I liked them every bit as much as the main characters. Rex had me laughing half the book, and I spent the other half on the edge of my seat. I desperately need more Rex and Tina. Highly recommend this adventure!

I loved this book! The horror and romance aspects were great, and the characters were unique and interesting. It's getting me excited for the spooky season, even though it's only August. There are also a lot of twists and turns that add to the plot in a fun way. I liked that it takes place in my home state of Arizona. I couldn't put this book down! Nice easy read that leaves you wanting more.
