An interesting read. My last name before I was married was Sheehan and that is what originally drew me to the book.

This is a poem written by a father with a child who has cerebral paulsey. The poem explores the emotions and thoughts of the father. It is a quick read, about a half an hour, and is extremely depressing. What I did enjoy about the poem was that it explored the cycle of joy and depression that parents go through when they have a child with a disabliity. I do not have a child with at disability, but this poem helps create understanding and empathy for parents who do.
