I’m omega Alessio Abella and I have an axe to grind.
I hate Valentino Syracuse with a vengeance. I also hate his second in command, alpha Dario Coppola. They both drove my father to the grave, and I’m going to murder them both.
I don’t care that Valentino and Dario are brutal, powerful alphas. I don’t care that I’ll probably die trying to get my revenge. Some things are worth dying for, and kidnapping Dario is the first step in my plan of retribution.
Unfortunately, I’m stabbed in the back by my own blood. From there I’m thrust into a nightmare where I have to work with Dario just to stay alive. But I’ll get mine. This truce is temporary, and eventually I’ll have Dario on his knees begging for his life. This is a dark mafia romance and contains violence and graphic smexy times. If you're sensitive to either of those things this story may not be for you.
It took me the longest time to get into this book and I’ve finally figured out why. I have no investment in either character. Dario is an alphahole with a grudge that won’t stop calling the grown man he’s sleeping with “kid”. Alessio is a bratty omega with a vendetta that doesn’t know when to shut his mouth. He grew up in a syndicate, you would think he would know how things work and have a little diplomacy.
Ultimately, I didn’t really care what happened to either of them throughout the book. That’s not to say the story wasn’t okay, it was the MCs that made me aggravated. Maybe this author just isn’t for me. 🤷🏻♀️
Omegaverse x enemies-to-lovers x fated x mafioso ☆⌒(*^∇゜)v
I enjoyed the third novel more than this one but it was still really good. Officially a fan of Brown's works.
Again, there were a few very minor grammatical/punctuation errors like: your instead of you're, there rather than their. They didn't ruin the quality of the book, but they made me occasionally pause when I stumbled across them.
Since I'm reading this series backwards, might as well commit and pick up the first one now hahaha
Man. It was a decent story, aside from the frequent grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors. The incorrect forms of your/you’re and their/there/they’re were consistently present throughout the novel. It’s a great story but it makes me wonder WTF happened with the editor. Why did his beloved father have his name misspelled so many times? I’m not even sure which is the correct spelling. Justice for Jo’esphiph.
Whoever said revenge is sweet has wonky taste buds. Alessio, hates Valentino and Dario. Valentino, is head of the family and Dario is his 2nd in command. Alessio feels they are responsible for his Father's death. Alessio is on a quest for revenge and plans to kidnap Dario. He unexpectedly finds himself in a criss where Dario saves his life. A new element is added to the circumstances and they go down a new path. There is a lot of excitement and action. Great elements of mafia shenanigans and Alessio adn Dario find themselves getting up close and personal with a few additions added for a little adventure. Fun story, not in a 'ha ha' way but keeps you rived with a knuckle grip on your Kindle. Exciting characters and hot cover art! Nicely done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Omega's Vengeance follows Alessio Abella on his quest for revenge against Valentino Syracuse and Dario Coppola, whom he blames for his father's untimely death. Alessio is determined to stop at nothing to avenge his father and make sure that Valentino and Dario pay for what they have done. However, his plans take an unexpected turn when he finds himself in a life-threatening situation, and must reluctantly trust Dario in order to survive. Despite their temporary truce, Alessio remains steadfast in his desire for revenge, vowing to one day have Dario at his mercy, no matter what. The book is romantic, action-packed, with some funny moments and surprise baby that will bring them closer together. I loved seeing the previous characters and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.
The main characters in this enemies-to-lovers mpreg story are Dario, an alpha, and Alessio, an omega. Alessio is on a vendetta against mafioso boss Valentino and Dario his second in command. He blames them for his father's death. From their first frenzied sexual encounter, Alessio and Dario are on a roller coaster emotional ride. This is a soap opera of a story with possessiveness, vulnerabilities, and deep trust issues.
My favorite parts were the vivid, steamy sex scenes, coverage of the pregnancy, including: *Primal, outdoor sex scenes. *Doctor visits with ultrasound scans. *Natural birth with chest lactation feeding of infant. *Interactions with previous characters in first book.
I'm looking forward to Paolo's story, the next book in this series.
“I’m just saying be careful. I’m not telling you to stop.”
This book was just delicious and I loved it! Great world building and wonderful characters. I love mm mafia romance, but paired with the alpha/omega trope and I'm all in! I loved both Dario and Alessio. They had great chemistry in spite of the circumstances and I loved the way their relationship developed. Alessio's plan for revenge did not go according to plan. This was a fast-paced, action packed journey and I couldn't wait to see how things would turn out. I also liked the supporting characters and loved Valentino. I liked the banter between him and Dario. I've read a few other books by this author, but this one is my favorite. 5 stars.
I always love mpreg books but this one was just ok I guess. It was just too rushed and not enough moments for both Dario and alessio to really bond together and show those moments of love. There were just too many scenes of hating one another. I get that Dario works under Valentino but in the end if he had to choose between the 2 his fated mate or his boss he would choose Valentino so the whole love didn’t feel genuine enough for me. Also we never get to read at the end to see what had happened to enzo? It’s like he disappeared off the book never to be seen nor heard of again when he played a crucial role in the beginning.
This is enemies to lovers at it's best. I really enjoyed book 1 and book 2 was just as good. Mafia romances tend to be intense...Dario and Alessio relationship was extremely intense. I wasn't sure how they were going to get over Alessio revenge quest...how trust and love would come out of their mating. Well I was up all night...read in one sitting...anxious to see the outcome of this off the chain pairing and I was very satisfied with their HEA. Not so much sugary sweet...definitely spicy.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love a good Enemies to Lovers trope but you throw in Omegaverse AND a revenge plot and you have the workings of an amazing ride! I loved Omega Trapped by Beau Brown so when I saw they had a second one, I had to grab it immediately. I devoured this book and couldn’t put it down! Alessio is such a fiery omega that he clashes with the very serious and onery Dario in a way that just works! I loved watching their relationship and revenge plot line play out and it left me craving more of Beau’s world. I cannot WAIT for book three!
I love Beau Browns books!!!! I've got lots of his series's but this series is darker yes but when I began to read they are not as dark as I thought I normally enjoy the darker ones but I love Beau:'s stories soon got them - I love the mafia men they are gruffier and mean on the outside but prove to be softies on the inside to their omegas!!!!! It was fun watching their adventures from starting out as enemies to lovers!!!! Thank you so much - Lori
This is Dario and Allessio's story. Alexssio is out for revenge for Valentino killing his father so what better way to get revenge than to kidnap Valentino's 2nd In Charge Dario. After several attacks to Dario they both end up victims to Alexssio's cousin who is seeking his own revenge. I really enjoyed this Mafia story and highly recommend this series.
Really enjoying these series, scared they be nothing of the same quality to read in this particular genre after this …
Lots of push and pull .. they are very cute together… 1st book is still my favourite. Few typos - but otherwise a very naughty/ entertaining read if you into this kid of thing …. I’m sometimes 🙃
I expected a bit more vengeance in the plot, as I really liked the previous book in the series and thought it had a great balance of angst to romance. But this book kinda pitters out once the couple starts crushing. It definitely suffers from "we're in love because omegaverse!"
Omg, no wonder BB is one of my favorite authors… To come up with how their love story started, still in awe. I couldn’t believe I got to read Dario’s HEA, him and Alisseo were perfect for each other
Rating: 4 stars I liked this book a bit more than I did the first one in the series. I thought there was a bit more connection between the two MCs. I will say that Alessio was a bit annoying throughout. Overall, I enjoyed it.
For a long time, I struggled to finish any book. Every story I picked up lost my interest quickly—but not this one. The action and the love-hate dynamic between the characters completely hooked me. While it's labeled as a dark romance, it’s not overwhelmingly dark.
Alessio is a brat who throws tantrums over his “unfair” father’s death, while Dario is the cocky, loyal alpha who constantly gets under his skin. Their dynamic is hilarious, especially how they bicker over the smallest things, yet never truly hate each other.
I loved the humor, the spice, and how for once the alpha is a bit toxic, but the omega isn’t weak. Their literal chase scenes and the small, petty fights made their relationship so fun to follow.
To sum up their bond: “If I could only have sex with you or noodles, I’d pick the sex with you.” “I feel pretty special now. I know how much you love your noodles.”
I didn’t read the first book, but I’m definitely excited for the next one!
Such a great book. Alessio is trying avenge his father's death by kidnapping Valentinos second in command, Dario. Alessio gets betrayed by his family and ends up running for his life Dario. While on the run Alessio ends up in heat and being claimed by Dario. This HEA is very much fought for by both MCs. Such an amazing second book.
