Twelvemonth
There’s much to be experienced in a year’s time; much to be thought, much to be learned and taught, much to be felt, much to be imagined, and much to be remembered.
Our bodies work as systems that store thoughts, emotions, and dreams. And, as a result, we fear the insurmountable, celebrate triumphs, cherish memories of good times, and dislike the unpleasant.
This is my stroll through one great 365. It is a diary of sorts; of ideas, sentiments, and fancies.
And, although within these pages are the images of only one writer, each reader will find relatable notions to examine within their own physiology.

In addition to playing classical guitar and helping Mike build guitars, she is an avid reader, art enthusiast, Yoga and Tai Chi practitioner, nighttime star gazer, and budding artist.

Her poems "The Value of Shadows," "Guitar," "A Train To Somewhere," "Where's Redemption?," "Back On The Polychromatic Drip-Dry Flying Carpet," "Screaming Pretty" and "Delirium Through The Drained Glass" have all been nominated for a Best of the Net Award.
Her poetry has been translated into Malayalam, Norwegian, Sequoyah-Cherokee, Hebrew, Swedish, Greek, Afrikaans, French, Mauritian Kreol, and Spanish.
In 2025, she was nominated and accepted into "The Marquis Who's Who In America" based on her work in the field of poetry.

Linda’s Poetic Journey:
As a young girl, she used to write poetry about what she observed in nature. Back then, everything had to rhyme. She made her own poetry books from paper, cardboard, and shiny wrapping paper.
As she went into her teens, she began to hear poetry through music lyrics. This is when she began to jot images and thoughts in response to more of what was happening around her. This influence was huge, and this visceral response to life became and continues to be the impetus for most of her poetry.
Linda also has made it a hard and fast rule that the style must fit the poem and not the other way around. This has required her to study different styles (Pantoum, Triolet Tanka, free verse) and to learn to appreciate the words of many different poets, as well as the 'shape' of those words.
Throughout the days and nights, she records thoughts and images on the closest thing to write on. The sorting and then creating with all the paper scraps, napkins, etc. has been a wonderful, gigantic, frightening, and satisfying adventure. One that Linda plans to continue indefinitely.

Profoundly penetrating poetry
A satisfying and inspiring read, this poet knows how to use the English language to express layers of meaning within her verse. I have previously read Red Is The Sunrise by Imbler which I thought opened windows into the poet’s mind. Twelvemonth goes further and takes you deep into the writer’s psyche and soul. This is a collection for those who love to re-read and delve deeper into long, expressive poetry.
