This book was fantastic. At the start I didn't really understand what was going on and almost dnf. But then, bam I was hooked. I'm glad I held out, this book was amazing.
An ok read. That’s what two stars means for me. * Poor ** Ok\Alright *** Good **** Excellent ***** Outstanding This book was just alright. Lots of story building at the start and time hopping. I was starting to scratch my head a bit and was sometimes lost (listened on Audible).I was just about to give up when the story started to come together and I enjoyed it more. This is a first book of a trilogy. I will continue with the story. I’ll just take a break and work through my TBR pile first.
Max is a skilled sorcerer who is training. He wants to follow his father and keep his home world safe. On his journey he meets other sorcerers who will guide and help him. For he is the future.
Outside my usual genre, but a good storyline and world building. Will appeal to a younger audience I think. Especially those who love quest-driven sagas and big heroes.
