Untouchable #13

Hellos and Happily Ever Afters

Rate this book
For my beautiful children, you love to hear the stories of how Mommy met your Daddy, Dad, Pop, and Papa. You love the funny stories about fighting that Daddy should never have told you or the stories about dancing that Papa teases me with or how Dad coaxed me into singing with him. Pop says your favorite stories are the ones that tell you we are human, that we love, and have loved, and will always love you.

I get that. Family means security and safety. It means having people in your corner always. It means companions on the journey to chase your dreams and helping them achieve theirs.

Hello seems like such a simple word, my darlings. But every hello that led me to your fathers is also the beginning of the happily ever after we’re building every day. You’re a part of it, Izzy, Josh, Charlie and our new arrival. You are the continuation of the story, our work in progress—our happily ever after.

Are you ready to hear what happens next? *Please note this is a reverse harem and the author suggests you always read the foreword in her books. Contains some mature situations, violence, and is recommended for 18+. This is a brand-new bonus novella that takes place post-series. The book will also include multiple shorts and additional chapters in the form of bonus content for the rest of the series in addition to that novella. This is all new unpublished material.

I love books. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Books were my best friends when I was growing up. Books didn’t care if I was new to a town or to a class. They were always there, my trustiest of companions. Until they turned on me and said I had to write them.

I can tell you that my own personal happily ever after included writing books. I’ve always said that an HEA is a work in progress. It’s true in my marriage, my friendships, and in my career. I am constantly nurturing my muse as we dive into new tales, new tropes, new characters and more.

After seventeen years back in Texas, we relocated to the Pacific Northwest in search of seasons, new experiences, and new geography. I can’t wait to discover what life (and my muse) have in store for me.

Maybe writing was always my destiny and romance my fate. After all, my grandmother wasn’t a fan of picture books and used to read me her Harlequin Romance novels.

Friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers, you name it, I love them and love to write them. I started with Earth Witches Aren’t Easy, the first in the Chance Monroe trilogy, but my characters and I have traveled a long way since I created that urban fantasy world.

One of the series I hear my readers recommend the most is the Untouchable series followed in quick succession by the Vandals, and that just delights me. No lie, whenever one of my readers brings up my wolves, I do a little a fist pump.

I’m active on social media, and I love hearing from readers. Feel free to tag me with a question about any of my books, or just say hi!

An ending we didn’t know we needed 🥰
Such a sweet addition to Frankie’s world! It gives us an insight into where Frankie, Archie, Coop, Jake and Ian are several years later and some of the things they’ve achieved 😃 you also get insights into some of their wider families who were key characters beforehand. It’s a beautiful acknowledgment of the work required to maintain the love in a family and it’s natural progression through the years 😍 although there’s no denying the heat is still there for Frankie and her guys 🔥🌶️🔥 this novella only adds to the world Long created and is a definite must for the lovers of this series! The cherry on top was having all those bonus scenes from the series on one place - this one definitely hits you with those warm fuzzy nostalgic feelings 😃

Incredible read

My heart feels so full after catching up with Frankie and the guy's. I've loved every second of being back in this world. It was just like coming home. It had me laughing and swooning throughout. I honestly can't get enough of Frankie , Ian , Coop , Jake and Archie. Their kids are just perfection and I loved seeing them all as parents. Who doesn’t love hands on daddies , I know I do and they do not disappoint. Like always with this author it had just enough spice and once again I fell in love with every character in this universe. Reading all the extra content from each book at the end of this book definitely made me want to start the series all over again. I would 100% recommend this series it is an incredible read that you will not be disappointed in.

I truly loved the Untouchable series and was super stroked when I found out another book was coming out about their life after their series ended. I loved all the behind the scenes when they had their children. They were so heartwarming and I fell in love all over again with this series. The bonus scenes that followed were awesome and so eye opening. The one bonus scene where Frankie was with Archie for his birthday and she played a song she made for him - Almost cried. This book is so full of moments that I was laughing, swooning or crying depending which bonus scene. Thank you for putting it all together for us readers.

I love it when authors give readers follow-up stories of one of their beloved series so we readers can see what the characters are up to now after their happily ever after. This was the case in Hellos and Happily Ever Afters, where I got to read how Frankie and her husbands were doing and how many children they had now after reading the last book in the series.

It was great reading how Frankie, Coop, Jake, Ian, and Archie were doing and catching up with them because they are definitely like family to me after everything they went through in the series. Coop, Jake, Ian, and Archie are the perfect daddies to all the children, and they are hands-on when it comes to the kids and still taking care of their Frankie. Frankie is one lucky gal to have the guys, and reminding her to take it easy, especially when she’s pregnant again in the novella. Their family dynamic is still strong, and no one will ever come between them.

Not only did Heather give us readers a quick novella into Frankie and the boys happily ever after again, but she gave us extra content from the other books in the series. The deleted and additional scenes that readers craved to read, especially when it came to other POVs from those books. I loved getting to read Rachel’s POVs on certain scenes that happened because she was a beloved character, and I hope she soon gets her own book(s). She deserves a happily ever after, too.

Overall, this novella was a great addition to the Untouchable series, and once again, Heather gave me all the happy feelings of knowing my favorite family of characters got their well-deserved HEA. If you read the series, you would understand because Frankie and her husbands went through so much in the series that they deserved these happy times with one another and with their children, who keep them on their toes.

If you haven’t read the Untouchable series and love reading the Friends to Lovers and Found Family tropes, then you should check out this series. I do recommend having tissues on hand, though, because Heather will take you on a rollercoaster ride with this series.

The prologue of this book had me giggling as Archie feeds Josh in the middle of the night. The conversation he has with the baby is hysterical and wise advice.

In the first chapter we see Frankie with Charlie, Izzy and Josh are on the way to school with Jeremy and Coop had helped her, and Ian get them ready before going to work at the community center. She would be recording with Ian later, and Charlie was very demanding of her time. I loved the scene with Grandpa Eddie, he's changed so much since the series began.

Frankie also has a secret, but her and Archie would tell him together. She would also be working with Eddie on the quarterly distributions, there were a couple of new requests.

With Frankie at the Standish offices, Archie and Jake were testing the new engine but Archie suddenly gets frantic. It's fun to see the guys step up to handle the latest dad to be.

I really loved Frankie's doctor visit for the ultrasound with Archie.

Each of Frankies previous pregnancies had been different in one way or another, this one is even more so since it's twins. I loved seeing the interactions with Izzy, Josh and Charlie, the help from the rest of the family, the tour with Ian at the end of the pregnancy and everything in between.

It's especially nice that all the bonus scenes are grouped in order, by book at the end. Thank you, Heather, for this peek at their Happily Ever After!

This was my first Heather Long series and although I love her darker works I have a total soft spot for Frankie and her guys. Archie is one of my all time favourite comfort characters and I loved this ending for him; although the other kids are just as much his, knowing the difficulties Archie had with his own parents growing up and how important being a good dad was to him, seeing him finally complete his family was just so sweet. The scenes with Eddie just made my heart jump for joy and I also really like how Frankie dealt with Maddie's impact years later as a mother herself.

I also love that this has 12 books worth of bonus scenes as this series has been a ride! I had completely forgotten how close these guys came to missing their happily ever after in high school and reading those scenes brought it all back as to how far this family has come. I love the nostalgia of looking back but I really enjoyed seeing Frankie, Coop, Jake, Ian and Archie as adults and this was a perfect send off to these characters.

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

This was everything I needed

Thank you Heather for letting us visit with these characters that will forever live rent free in my soul! This book was everything I wanted and more. It had it all just like the series - I laughed, giggled, squealed, swooned and cried because that's life. I adore how much Frankie and the brother husbands have grown and matured and how they still love each other very much despite life being life. They still work hard at their relationships both individually with Frankie at the center and as a group. Grandpa Jere continues to be the bestest but Grandpa Eddie made my full while hurting a little. Cooper and Bubba still hold #1 but honestly it's just hard not to love them all. So thank you, thank you, thank you Heather for giving us another glimpse of Frankie, Archie, Cooper, Ian and Jake because I really, really, really needed that and it made my whole day, week, month.

Also the kids were all beyond adorable but that Charlie was just *squishy face* & the moment with Izzy and Frankie in the library- I teared up so much because it was one of the more beautiful moments in the book. And thank you for not leaving us in the dark with the A names.

Frankie and her guys are living their happily ever after. Married with children and another on the way, life is more than they could have ever dreamed of on those hot summer days growing up in Texas. There have been tears, laughter, angry words, and shouted fears along the way but most of all love.

Okay, I’ll admit I teared up almost immediately starting this book. The first few pages were read through a blur. I didn’t realize just how much I missed these characters. Frankie and her guys are some of my all-time favorites but I didn't realize how emotional I would get catching up with them. It’s so nice to read a book with characters who are relatable and lovable. Their drama consists of the trials of life. There’s no bullying, abuse, or cheating. Instead, there’s friendship, support, laughter, tears, exhaustion, protection, and adoration. Heather is an author who truly understands the meaning of relationships and intimacy. This series is one of the best escapes ever. So, I was thrilled to be among friends again. This is everything I ever wanted. All of the POVs.  Updates and trips down memory lane. Novel and nostalgia. It’s the happily ever after they (and we) deserved.

When I heard there was going to be a 13th Untouchable book, that we were going back to see Frankie and the guys again, I whooped and did a little happy dance. The Untouchable series was my first HL series and for me, is one of the few I have read that I know I can lose myself in when adulting is.... well..... not fun.

I love that their happily ever after wasn't just left at a few pages at the end of Farewells and Forever. Don't get me wrong, I loved the way that book ended but the fact that we got a whole new book dedicated to the last 15 years is something I adore all the more. To see what they have all been getting up to in their home life together and their careers was just amazing. It was also great to see little snippets of the grandparents and the rest of their families.

For me, the icing on the cake was the bonus scenes. I actually hadn't read many of them at all, so to have them at the end and all in one place was everything. A brief flash of the series and some told in different pov was something I didn't know I needed.

Looking forward to seeing what comes next.x

Hellos and Happily Ever Afters

"Never say never"

Heather Long, thank you so so so much for this book!

This book for me really was like my life this past year. Let me explain. Life gets hard, moves are made, you make it or you don't. This past year in my physical life has been just that- but made it I did. We are thriving as a family, we are buying my childhood home and this book, these characters is just like coming back home for me. It's showing over the years, through the issues there is sometimes light at the other end of the tunnel.

This book was everything I wanted and more. It
Shows how life goes on. Having a family can be hard work. I loved seeing all the guys individually still making Frankie a priority and how they all interact with their children. As a unit they execute parenting absolutely flawlessly.

Frankie, Archie, Cooper, Ian and Jake will always be very special to me. Now the kids. I love seeing the special moments between the kids and the parents. This book made me laugh and cry (I'm just emotional 🖤

What a wonderful offering

To leave their world hurts. I just finished reading endless words after two weeks of all these books, and I immediately want to return and read it again. Do not read this first. Read this after the series.

If you like RH stories with kids who grow into adults struggling with keeping together through thick and thin... this series is a must read. 5 stars for me means awesome, and I would read it again. This series is one of the few that I wish we could give a special boost in that rating because it was just so amazing. I lost sleep and don't care. I barely ate. Don't care. Didn't work out. My body is yelling at me but I don't care.

Heather, thank you. I'll try to send you a message in case you don't see this. You made me laugh. You made me boo hoo cry, and that is extremely rare. You kept going through life struggles, health issues, pandemics, and more, and the work never suffered. I can't thank you enough for this journey!

Beautiful Ending!

This book was everything that I’ve been dreaming of, and more. 12 books I had, loving Frankie and falling for each of her boys, that I couldn’t be happier that we get to see their happily ever after. I love how incredible the guys are, especially with the children, and how Frankie is still their world. They will make you swoon. After everything that Frankie and her brother husbands have overcome and achieved, it was beautiful to read them at a later stage in their lives. I loved seeing/hearing bits about the side characters that I’d come to love. #Jeremyisthebest
I love that the bonus scenes are included it’s made me want to delve back in and do a full reread. I am praying for Rachel to have her own story! Loved her even more in these scenes.

This series will always be one of my favourites, it is incredible. If you haven’t already then definitely give it a chance.

These deleted scenes offer more than just intimate moments; they provide glimpses into the characters' lives, relationships, and personal struggles. While some scenes may contain moments of intimacy, the collection explores various aspects of character development, family dynamics, and emotional growth. I discovered a rich tapestry of narratives that extend beyond mere sexual encounters, offering depth and insight into the characters' experiences.

I was pleasantly surprised by this collection of deleted scenes. The erotic scenes were enjoyable and well-written, keeping me engaged throughout. This was my first encounter with Heather Long's work, and I found myself intrigued by the depth of the characters from the backstories hinted at in these scenes. Their complexities and dynamics left me eager to explore more of Long's writing. I look forward to diving into their other works to uncover the full scope of her storytelling prowess.

Oh my goodness, my heart is so incredibly full ♡ Untouchable series is one of my all time favorite series. I have fond memories of my time reading each book and anticipating each release so when Heather Long announced this book, I was over the moon!!

I cannot tell you how good it felt to read my favorite characters all matured (kinda hehe) and all grown up, being parents. Seeing them with all their kids?! I am a pudddddle of moosh for all the lovely moments. The extended family!! And really just loved Frankie just living her best life, surrounded by the best people.

Hellos and Happily Ever Afters is jam packed with all the moments you wanted and more.

Thank you, Heather for allowing me to say hello after a such a long farewell ♡ I can't wait to see all their cameos in future books!

I am going to be honest. I was reluctant to read this follow-up book. I have read the first 12 Untouchable series a few times now; it's my favourite 'why choose' series of all time. I was nervous that this book wouldn't be as good and would leave me feeling unsatisfied. But this story is everything I could have wanted for Frankie, her men, and their families. It was heartwarming to read how their relationship has continued to develop, the introduction to their children, and how each of their careers has gone on over the last few years.

I hadn't previously read any of the bonus scenes, and going through them made me feel like I was freshly reading the books for the first time again.

I felt so many emotions reading this book, I cried, I smiled, I fell in love with Frankie's men all over again. This book is the perfect ending to the series.

My heart ❤️
Frankie and the guy's. What can I say, this hit me right in the feels! I've loved every second of being back with them for this beautiful look into their future. It was just like coming home.
Frankie Ian Coop Jake and Archie are just so beautiful together and I don’t think I will ever get enough of their love. The babies are adorable and extra bonus points to Heather for showing such a beautiful realistic portrayal of the body confidence issues so many mothers go through after having our babies.
I laughed, I cried and I devoured this so damn quickly.
The spice was glorious as always and the emotional connection’s were just swoon worthy
You won’t regret reading this-it was in a word. Beautiful 💗💗💗💗

After all this time and it feels like returning home.
I think i will never....ever get tired of reading about these guys.
Its never enough!
The author had gifted us with one glimpse at their lives as they are now...kids,love,friends and everything.
I don't think there will ever be a time were i won't want to read about Frankie and Archie and Ian and Coop and Jake. Or learn how the kids are doing....or have a glimpse of Edward or Rachel or the moms...
We've been through hell and heaven with these lot and we grew up with them and laughed and cried i thnk most of us were even anxious when Frankie was having her exams at school and then that paper in Uni...So yes....
I will always pick up their story again and again.
Thank you Heather Long for this amazing book

The epilogue book we didn't know we needed but we totally know we needed because looking into the future of the last book we wanted it lol. I really enjoyed this look into the future for Frankie and the guys. We had such a great 12 book series where we really got to explore their relationship and dynamic. I was so great to see them in the future more with children. It's a comfort reread and this was just such a nice comfort read. The second half of the book is all the bonus content compiled which is amazing Is there so many different bonus scenes and they're all by which book they're from. Definitely recommend this for any untouchable fan and if you haven't read the series yet, Definitely recommend it. It's a great exploration of an RH relationship long-term and friends to lovers.

never say never

Hellos and Happily Ever Afters is book thirteen in the series Untouchable by author Heather Long. Ok so as I was finishing up book twelve and feeling sorry that it was down I happened to look down and saw book thirteen - let just say the people around me think I’m nuts- but I’m cool with that! So I love the little extras. I adore that we got to meet- I’m not giving it away. Surprises are always wonderful, especially in this series.
I love that Rachel gets her book(s) - I desperately need to know about Dominic (I really liked him and secretly rooting for him.)
Anywho, if this author ever decides to revisit this series I’m here! These characters are family and I absolutely enjoyed the journey. Again not saying goodbye- just until next time.
Enjoy!!

Is it weird that I liked this more than most of the books in the series?
I mean, it's clear now that Jake's entire personality is threatening anybody who flirts with Frankie, but on the upside, there was a lot less Ian worship in this book.

What made me like it more was finally getting some POV chapters from other characters, like Eddie, Hank, Kelly, and Jeremy. I've been critical of this series, but the one good thing I can say is that I really liked that Eddie was given a redemption story. My emotional heart hurts when I see characters express genuine contrition and still never be forgiven, so Eddie's arc was one of my favorite things and his bromance with Hank made me happy.

Now can Rachel finally get with Dominic and put him out of his misery?

Oh how returning to Frankie, Jake, Ian, Archie and Coop is like getting the warmest hug, I love this found family so much.

I loved seeing the family growing not only with Frankie and the guys, but with their siblings and parents.. talk about a full house!

It was so lovely to see how fierce they still protect one another and take everything on as a team always. The nostalgia was at level 100 here, especially with the truth or dare throwback (oh how I squealed) and I laughed out loud at the juxtaposition of Jake missing the unwanted flirting just like Frankie used to before.

Having all of the bonus scenes from the years at the end as well!? Heather is absolutely spoiling us as always.

Oh happily ever after....Welcome back to a glimpse in the life of Frankie and her boys- now men. Archie, Ian, Jake and Coop- the brother husbands, Dad, Daddy, Papa and Pop. They have all matured into loving family men, with 3 kids between them. Grandpa Jere, Grandpa Eddy, they're all here too. You'll love reading about their lives, all of them and the rich family life ( as well as the alone time with Mommy/Frankie.) I absolutely loved revisiting them. And all of the books bonus scenes included as well? It doesn't get any better than this. Kudos Heather Long!❤️ Keep on writing and amazing us with your stories!

This was perfect!

For having read Frankie's novels multiple times I always wanted to know what happens in the after years. This was a perfect blend of the following years with bonus scenes and different POVs. I know that sometimes the characters stop speaking to their creators letting them know its time for an ending but with Frankie and her men I think I'd want more. Thank you Heather for creating a world that captivated and offered windows into a world full of all life has to offer. Both the good, bad and shocking things life offers. Looking forward to any more books you may give!

I loved seeing Frankie and her men, Coop, Jake, Ian and Archie as parents and how they interacted with the kids and dealt with the new pregnancy, and Frankie and Ian on tour during her pregnancy. Reading the bonus scenes for the previous books made me want to reread the series and how each of the guy's relationships with Frankie grew and how they struggled. I enjoyed reading Jeremy, Rachel and Eddie’s POV in the bonus scenes and how they view Frankie and her relationship with the guys and the little pieces of their own lives. I enjoyed every bit of it, the banter, the spice and the family dynamics throughout the entire novella.

Aawww... It was so fun re-visiting one of my favorite found families! Hearing from Frankie, Coop, Jake, Ian and Archie again was everything and more. Seeing them as parents and getting to experience their new arrival alongside them was heart warming. I'm sad that we probably won't get much of them anymore but I'm glad we get to have this novella and all the bonus scenes in one place.

The Untouchable Series will always be my go to re-read when I need a pick me up. If you haven't started from the beginning, you need to. Frankie and her guys will forever be in my top five favorites. ❤️

I always wonder what happens to characters after their HEA - especially in long series like the Untouchable series. We knew Frankie wanted kids and a big beautiful life with Coop, Jake, Ian and Archie. I’m so happy that Heather brought us back into their world for a glimpse of what transpired!

I am thrilled to have all of the bonus scenes in one place too! Previous flashbacks and different POVs from previous books that just hit all the feels.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - so thrilled to get some more Frankie and the brother husbands. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of hearing their stories.

Wonderous

I’ve loved this series, I’ve laughed, I’ve shouted yeah and I’ve cried. Heather Long has written a series that made you feel joy, love and family. The last two books in this series have been a wonder bonus that are well appreciated and that so far I’ve not read in another author…thank you Heather. I’m sorry to read the last paragraph, sentence, word in this series, I’m going to miss Frankie and everyone, from her guys, Rachel, all her family and of course Jeremy. Once again, thank you Heather!
