"Dear Milk Chocolate Lion of Belgium, everyone
is my husband. Everyone cries on the telephone.
Everyone wants me to have a look at what this

I particularly liked List of Vegetables, which is the poem Jay first thought of to reccomend this book to me. I would like to like to live with the book longer and read the poems occasionally in that one chair that I read poetry Jay has written or reccomended to me in, but I am in the mood to return things to people in this strange early spring, so it will go back to him now.

I first thought these poems were the product of an ominous cave-whisperer; on re-reading I realized they were the product of someone who can sing in their own secret language. Lean in closer! You can't miss it. I loved this book.

Little fascinating poems that pretty consistently hit that perfect mixture of humor and emotion. Recommended to me by Mark Leidner, whose own poetry is not incredibly dissimilar.
