This was good!
I’m so glad Solana finally found her voice, stopped living for everyone else & did what made her happy! Her & Quest went against what their families believed was best for them & chose to put their own happiness first!
Gi & Lo-diddy are my favs!! Gi loves the ground Lo walks on & he doesn’t care who knows it 🤣 I love a man who isn’t afraid to love their woman out loud & Gi is exactly that!!
Sky & Mack-Attack 😭 were made for each other!! They balance each other out so well! The way he stepped up & stepped in to be a father to Cam just melts my heart!! He was everything that Marcus wasn’t!
Tyson & Kyerra… Im not surprised! Relationships that aren’t built on a solid foundation are bound to crumble. They ended up together by default & I knew that wouldn’t end well.
I loved getting an update on all the couples! This was a great end to this series!

Great spinoff
I definitely was not expecting a marriage and a divorce all in the same book. I’m also shocked that they let one get away. All in all this was another great read by Kaylyn. Onward….just read the damn book.

Enjoyable!
I really enjoyed this but it was too many POVs for me. I love the growth in Gi and Lo’s marriage, still my favorite couple. Sky got on my nerves and I loved her so much the first book and was so happy for her and Mack to make things official. She eventually got it together tho.
Tyson grew so much as a man. I would love to see him find love. Kyerra still got on my nerves. Solana still got on my nerves and I didn’t like Quest for some reason I just wasn’t feeling him.
This family is dysfunctional af but I’ve enjoyed reading about them.

So, after a whole month and some random thoughts, I'm finally here to review this book.😩😅
I think the book could have just been an update on the characters but with more focus on Tyson's story. That man deserved better.
Kyerra is still her annoying and trifling self, but who's surprised? Her happy ending was unnecessary and undeserved.
I still don't care for Solana, but I'm glad she found some backbone and a HEA
As for Sky and Mack, I felt like I was reading about a completely different Sky compared to the first book. Where did Book One Sky go?
But hey, Lo and Gi, my absolute favorites, are still going strong and beautifully in love and still minding everybody's business🤷🏾♀️

I enjoyed Lo and Gi and also surprisingly liked Solana and Quest. Kyerra was selfish, lacked accountability, and absolutely did not deserve a HEA especially given how Tyson’s story ended. Seems unfair that Tyson showed the most growth out of both books but got stuck with the short end of the stick.

3.75 good read
Book 1 is one of my favorites so I was beyond excited for a book 2 however...
I loved that Gi and Lo continued to be the anchor... so excited that sis Sol got a backbone and a man and enjoyed the repeat of Quest getting taken to the barn like Lo. BUT the Sky drama I could have did without. Her not able to tell Mack was not in route of there relationship and drug the pace down, as did Tysons marriage or rather bitterness.
With that being said I would loveca book 3 but maybe a holiday catch up and something positive for Ty.

I found my new favorite couple. Sol and Quest. I am so glad the spoiled princess bloomed into a mature woman and got her man..👏🙌 She did not play about Quest and he loved his wife❤ It was good to see Gianna, Hailo, Skye and Mack. I am still Trying to figure Tyson out. Maybe he needs his own love story. I knew Tyerra was not the 1 for him. She fell back with Vincent too easily. Great read, definitely⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good story but
Ok so this second book covered a few unanswered topics from the first book but still left a sour taste with Kyerra, Lucas and Sophia. Again Kyerra got a happy ending when she clearly didn’t deserve one. Tysons character growth was way better in this story but yet again he ends up with the crappy ending while his whore of a wife gets to ride off in the sunset with a new love (crazy work). I loved that we got to see a different side of Mack since he was always way too calm and finally Sol who is the oldest of them all got to live her life on her own terms and story up to her father. Gianni and Hailo were the it couple as always and it was cool to see their growth in their relationship. My biggest beef in this book was Kyerra. She was wrong in the first book and she was wrong in this one. She should have gotten that work for playing in Tysons face. Other than that it was a good follow up. Hopefully he’ll get his happy ending too and she’ll finally have the day she deserves.

Wonderful Update‼️
The growth of Lo and Gi’s marriage is beautiful and I love that for them. Lo has really grown as a woman; she’s no longer angry and holding grudges with her daddy issues. Tyson grew so much as a man and I would love for him to have a short story about finding love and navigating fatherhood. Kyerra irked my nerves cause sis has no accountability for her decisions everything is cause of somebody else. She didn’t deserve a good ending with the way she played on their family. I feel like sis just wanted that last name cause how you still in love with the other ex 🙄🤦🏾♀️. Sky got on my nerves with Marcus but I love her and glad everything worked out with Mack. I’m glad we got to see another side of Mack. Solana showed growth towards the end but in the beginning she was doing too much acting scared of the family. I love the family and enjoyed their series

In spite of his frustration keeping things a secret, he was her safe space! Baby, Mack played no games when it came to Sky and Camden, I was so happy when Sky was able to get out of her own way! Now Hailo and Gi, they were black love to the Meraux clan along with Everette and Mia, Mack's parents!
Family can have a lasting effect on folks regardless of age. Siblings have a way of either bringing out the worst in one another or best. Morgan and Tyson posed challenges for Quest and Solana, but they never folded!

The END! (Finally!)
This book was just okay for me. It wasn’t terrible, but I also can’t hype it up and say it was “sooo good” like the first two! Honestly, it felt more like it was tying up loose ends from the other books rather than standing strong on its own. I could’ve gone without reading it, but at the same time, my OCD wasn’t about to let me skip the last book in the series. 🤷🏽♀️ The problem was that it was soooo “meh” that I had to literally force myself to finish it, which made it drag on way longer than it should have. I won’t say I do or don’t recommend it, because it definitely has a few good moments, but overall it just felt like an afterthought instead of a solid third installment.

Amazing read !!’
There was so much unpacked from everyone, that it made my head spin. Sky was pissing me off so bad and I’m glad her mom told on her. Mack I just love him and loved how he loved Cam Cam!!! Marcus deserved what happened to him because he was scum. Gi and Lo still adorable. I actually felt bad for Tyson and he deserved better than what he was getting. Kyerra was annoying and I was not surprised by her actions at all. Super proud of Solana for standing up for herself because her and Ty parents are truly the worst. Question loved his woman and no one was going to tell him different and I was here for it. Kaylyn you did so great with this read sis!!!

Awesome Read
Solana found her strength and happiness at the same time. Marrying Quest made her happy, as well as him. They shocked everyone with that secret, but never backed down from their families. Mack gave Marcus his final warning concerning Sky and Cam and he meant every word. Sky had to learn the hard way about keeping secrets from her man. Hailo was everyone's go to person, but found she couldn't let it affect her home life. Gianni was not having it. Tyson deserves to be happy. His life has been lived for everyone, but him. Awesome read!

So good to see hailo and Gi back,and it is crazy how they are still very much in love with each other.for Ty,I don't know if to sympathize or laugh at him because he kinda deserve it for going for his cousins pussy.i still wanted more of Hailo and Gi and hopefully their babies.I need more of the couples interaction with their children, especially Gi.there Is still hailo's sibling and father issue and her ex too, would like to see Go deal with him, hope all these will be covered up in the next part.thanks for the good work author

If you're going to do a spin-off then it would be great if the details from the previous book matched up with this one and in this one there were way too many inconsistencies, for example we all know Skylar was shot in the chest but in this one it's her shoulder and I'll only mention this one because it's how the book starts. Another thing this is called a standalone but you definitely had to have read the first one to know exactly what is happening because a lot of what happened prior is referenced quite a bit. Overall it isn't a bad book but they were all over the place.

While this book included everyone, it was more Solana based. The Meraux princess who resided in a gilded cage. Solana goes and makes a decision that leaves everyone up in arms, but I'm glad she finally decided that her happiness was more important than anything. Now Ty, I hope he finds happiness for himself once and for all because their parents really did a number on them. I love me some Gi and Lo - those two are hilarious. Mack and Sky definitely march to their own drum. Happy Reading Y'all!💋

I liked this follow-up and particularly enjoyed seeing Solana get her HEA in an unlikely place but I confess it wasn’t as tight as the first i.e. it felt at times that things were being dragged out with the Solana’s situation and also with Skylar. Also felt like after what we saw in the first book, the Tyson and Kyerra resolution was a head-scratcher and could’ve been done off page if that’s how things were gonna play out.

Loved every second of this. To still get a peak into Lo and Gi’s unwavering commitment to each other, Sky and Mack love for one another *chefs kiss*. Quest and Solana’s story was just the cherry on top. I loved them as a couple and how Quest was always so sure about his love for her.

Pretty good follow-up
This was a nice recap from the first book. While I appreciate catching up on all of the characters, like someone else’s review mentioned, there were just too many POVs for me. It took me quite some time to really get into this book and some of the stories seemed to drag on. However, in the end I think it wrapped up nicely.

The drama came full circle and I was here for it
This was an awesome continuation to Meraux Family Saga.
Hailo & Solana really came into their own in this book. While well put together, Sky and Mack were the ones falling apart.

For me it's always Gi!!
I loved loved this book it was awesome catching up with the couples!! Gi and Lo are always that couple! Mack & Sky are just that awesome, and Solana surprised me!! Tyson continues to grow and I'm here for it! And I still can't stand Kierra dusty self!
