I am shocked at all the positive reviews. It reads like a first draft of a first novel. So many characters, left me thinking “who is this again?”
I loved the scenes between Garrett and the FMC’s eight-year-old daughter. So sweet!
I skimmed so I’m going to chalk this up as a DNF. I did read the last two chapters because everyone was talking about the amazing twist at the end.

this was a weird one
I was torn on this book. I liked it but I didn't like it. I felt like Emmie was kind of annoying at times. The end was a good twist though.

This is not a religious book but it does have a hint of religion which is not pushed down one's throat. I'm an emotional bloke and emotion comes aplenty in the story of Bob. My reviews never give too much away about the storylines, but I will say that this is one heck of a good ghost story. Even though it's been 12 years since publication, it's still getting loads of reviews and I'm so glad I discovered it and it's author Jacqueline Druga. I've read a few of her other books now and just added another two to my Kindle. I did laugh out loud (a lot) and I'm not ashamed to say I shed a few tears. I'd give this more stars if I could, and I'd love to see a miniseries come to TV. It'd make great viewing.

A Wonderful book that moved me to tears but the final page brought laughter...
This was no a book I would ever have expected from Ms. Druga... I love her horror and apocalyptic works of terror...but from start to finish this was a moving story of star crossed lovers and a mismatched triangle of deep and abiding love. Seldom, if ever, has a book moved me to floods of tears mere pages from the ending only to have me bowling with laughter in a mere half dozen more pages! Seldom have I enjoyed a book as much, m' am... and I now can look forward to all your books I have yet to read knowing that whatever type book you may choose to write, it will be outstanding!

The best read in a long time !!!! Wonder full wonderful !! I enjoyed the whole book.
I didn't like the disrespect about the BIBLE, but write more books like this ..... Loved the humor and love that you experience. !! Can't say enough good things ..fast read ....touching ......

Great Book!
I have only made 1 comment after reading a book. That was Stephen King on The Stand. But Ma'am, this was awesome. I laughed out loud and hubby thought I was crazy. Thank goodness he wasn't here at the end. I was balling. I really love your books, but this one takes the cake! Thank you again for it.

Amazing!
I was a bit on the fence about this book
As I started reading, it didn't take long to be hooked. 100% in! Do NOT let yourself miss reading this one. I am so impressed with the characters, the story, and mostly, how perfectly it was written. Start reading this one NOW!

This isn't my favorite Druga book. It's a bit silly but worth a few giggles. It was definitely longer than it needed to be.

What a great read! Very much enjoyed the story, and the ending was *chef's kiss* perfect.
