Iris was a slave to her father and brother, they abused her mentally and physically for years. Iris met Alek and he always treated her kindly. It’s been years since they have seen each other. Alek is a wolf shifter who is part of the Silver Wolves Black Ops. All the other members have found their mates. While he is hunting with a friend in wolf form he scents a familiar scent. He goes after the scent and finds Iris being bullied by two men, he assumes are her father and brother. Alek takes her to his house to keep her safe. He tells her that he is a wolf shifter and Iris is scared because of what she has grown up hearing. Iris gets pregnant by Alek and his wolf knows that they are mates. Will Iris realize that Alek won’t harm her? Will Alek and Iris become mates? Will Alek and Iris find love and happiness together as mates?

I liked Iris. She had an inner strength that Alek helped nurture. She was mentally and physically abused so this may trigger for some readers. I loved how she overcame obstacles, not just with her father and brother but with a shifter as well.
I also liked Alek. I liked the way he helped solve Iris problems. How he found her again after long years and then as the title said kidnapped her. It put a smile on my face that he would go to such extremes to keep her safe. I also liked the way he helped her "trust" him and shifters. Especially after her brainwashing of what a "wolf man" would do if she were to be caught by one. Very clever.
Excellent twist , some I did not see coming. Steam to the romance. I loved the HEA. This like all of the books in this series is a standalone. No cliffhanger. Action throughout. The flow was good. I couldn't put the book down, I had to see what would happen next.

Iris has been treated badly by her father and brother especially after her mother died. Iris had a friend Alek but had to leave him or her father would hurt him. One day when she was in the woods Alek came to her and took her away. There was one big problem though, Alek was a wolf shifter and Lisa was terrified of them. There are a lot of surprises in this story and betrayal as well. This is a well written story that had me turning the pages to see what would happen next. My favourite character was Malcolm, he was ruff and tuff but a softy at heart. I received an advanced copy and the views and opinions are my own.

Fate

This was a great read. It was different then other bookmark have read. I liked the fa r that she didn't turn into wolf that she was able to carry both babies and not die. I would gave like to read about her birthing the twins so I could have a visual since it's not the normal beast meets human and get s her pregnant.

Did not see what everyone else seen

OK, I did not see what everyone else saw in this book. It sucked so bad. I should have known something wasn't right when the guy on the cover looked like crap. But I read it anyway, and I finally just skipped to the end. The sex was horrible, nothing hot about it. Read at your own risk

Iris and Alek

Iris was kept under the control of her father and brother. She was not allowed any freedom until she met Alek on a rare moment she snuck out. This ignited discord from the human village and a few shifters who do not approve of human/shifter relations.

Aleks gave Dan too many chances. Iris should have followed her instincts when it came to Dan and told Aleks. Dan the creep was at the forefront of all Aleks' troubles.
