I need Rae and Atleys story RIGHT NOW. Holy hot cowboy.. and the way his voice was in my head.. god he’s delicious!!! The story of two strangers meeting over delayed flights and a baggage mishap leads to one incredible night in an airport hotel.. and boy do the sparks fly.

Excellent short read. This is a prequel to Michelle‘s next book and it leaves you wanting and excited to read the rest of Rae’s and Atley’s story. Their one night stand is a girl’s dream of meeting a very special man and letting go of propriety to simply enjoy yourself for once. You definitely need to read this prequel. Book comes out soon.

Just a Stranger from the Elmer, Texas series
Michelle Donn has given the reader amazingly real and believable main characters in Atley and Rae. Their words, emotions, and actions are what I have either seen in my own life or the lives of those around me. It makes the story feel as if you are in this with Atley and Rae. You will find yourself wanting to move to Texas to join in living with the people Michelle Donn has created.
An out of town meeting between Atley and Rae gets steamy, not realizing they will see one another again soon, can you say awkward? Two forty something, relationship challenged, successful people work their way through being thrown together in both their working lives and where they live and their friends and family.
Cameron and Wilson from Just a Client, appear and continue their story while you get lost in the world of Texas hill country and the ups and downs of Atley and Rae as they to figure out their happily ever after.

I rate this about 2.75 stars its a novella so it's so short ewhich is why it's not rated higher went into this simply because I needed a read with the letter j and couldn't find much this is technically the 2nd book in the series but it's a novella that's leading up to the rest of these 2 characters story I might have to go back and read the 1st book because it's about her brother and I guess technically his boss I believe I did enjoy this one so im guessing I'll probably enjoy there's and the rest of these 2 story isn't out yet so I'll try to read her brothers first though it didn't spoil anything but that's because we didn't even see them until the end which I'm sure will be different in the full length one of theirs so I'll probably read it to be safe it was a really quick read probably won't read the 1st book this month but maybe next month or March but that is when the rest of this story takes place so I'll see

Rae is going through a midlife crisis that has her running away to her brother's ranch to start over again. Unfortunately, not everything goes according to plan or does it? She's on her way when she gets tripped up at the airport, and things don't look so great until they do, she meets a cowboy that she decides to spend one hot night with as she's stranded, and it was SCORCHING! She thinks that's it after the night is over, but fate has other plans, and I for one cannot wait to see what happens. Just a One Night Stand is a super fun, spicy short read that was just what I needed after the hustle & bustle of the holidays. I'm not usually down with cowboys, but man, I'm hooked to Atley so again, CANNOT WAIT to see what happens with them! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This short and sweet introduction to the new series was eventful and hot.
This was about Rae down on her luck who meets Atley, a ranch foreman at lost baggage at the airport when their flights get postponed.
Atley was a hot cowboy that knew what he was doing with a woman's body, definitely all alpha.
Rae with her life falling apart, is still open and searching.
Well done and this certainly makes me excited for the new series. Can't wait for more. This short tidbit just enough to get me interested.

I loved this. A quick read about two strangers who meet at the airport when their flights are delayed and proceed to have a one night stand never expecting to see each other. The only issue is Atley's employer is Rae's brother. Imagine their shock when they come face to face once more. I enjoyed this book and I am so eager to read more of their story. This was so hot, hot, hot and I cannot wait for Michelle Donn to write their full novel.

This is the second book in the Elmer, Texas series and it is one novella that you want to read. This is the prelude to Rae and Atley’s story and what a story it is, from their first meeting to their attraction and all the fun and games in between. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts. If you like steam and a cowboy meets a girl with a precious puppy, then this is the book for you. I will say that it does end in a cliffhanger. I cannot wait to see what is coming next…Elmer, Texas you have me roped in.

This book is a 5 star read for me if you love one night stands,hot cowboys, and cute dogs you’ll love this book!.The spice in this book is a 4/5 nice short read I would definitely recommend. The two main characters are both relatable in their own ways and the dog is straight up adorable. BUT if you don’t like cliffhangers I would not recommend reading this book…I also appreciated the mention of bucee’s. Over all I have this book a 5 out of 5 stars 10/10 would recommend this book to anyone!.

This novella is worth the read! Atley the ranch manager from book one is getting his story! Rae is running from the end of a bad relationship to a fresh start. Her flight is delayed, her dog is lost and while waiting for news she meets a very sexy cowboy waiting on his lost luggage as well! A spicy novella linking the first book in this series Just a Client to the second book coming soon Just a Stranger.

Just a One Night Stand is exactly what it is. I really enjoyed this short and sweet novella...a cowboy meets a girl and her pup while traveling. This short story left on a cliff hanger, but I am excited to see what happens next. I can wait to see what happens next in Elmer, Texas.

This was an awesome novella of a one night stand and no attachments. It is hot hot hot and lots of steam. Atley and Rae meet at the airport when their flights are cancelled. Little did they know that they were both heading to Elmer, Texas. I can’t wait to finish their story in Just a Stranger. Hurry hurry, hurry. I have love Michelle’s series of small town romance. What an excellent series.

OMG! Wow. I just love Atley and Rae. Short, sweet, hot and steamy! Strangers with an absolutely incendiary connection. And there’s a dog too! I can’t wait for the rest of their story in the next book in the series - Just a Stranger. I’m not usually one for a cliffhanger but this was good!

Oh my, what a fun, sexy prelude to Rae and Atley's story. When they first meet in the airport lost and found you won't believe what Atley lost. It had me laughing out loud. From there, let the attraction begin. I loved this quick read. You won't want to miss it. I'm loving Elmer and definitely looking forward to Just a Stranger!!

Two strangers meet at an airport and end up having the most fantastic night before heading off on their way but is that truly the end of it?? A fast paced, well written novella that is the start of Rae and Atley's adventures. A fantastic read where our characters have off the charts chemistry and I look forward to more!

So so good! I am not usually a fan of a novella but Michelle Donn created a great story with enough background information to do Just a One Night Stand justice. Loved it!
