As the story continues Clara and James are together almost constantly as they continue to work to solve the town's mystery of what really happened to Samuel and Eleanor’s disappearance. Was it murder? Or did they run away together? Read on to find out. James wants to find some answers for his grandfather before he passes away about his sister Eleanor because the town kept quiet about anything they knew. The ones that may have heard anything still will not share anything with them, but one lady Ruth. What does she know & will she be any help to them? Clara found a map in one of the books that was donated to the library. She hopes the map will help them to get some answers & maybe help them find the pearl necklace that no one has been able to find. They keep searching & looking & getting clues a long the way, hopefully they will finds some more information & get the answers they are hoping for. I think this is one of the best mysteries she has ever written! Anxiously awaiting the next book! Hope they find something to lead them to the real answers before James’s grandfather passes!

I got this Advanced Reader Book free & am giving my review for free & in my own words. This is a very interesting series.

As things unfold, it turns out that Eleanor was James grandfathers older sister from the wrong side of the tracks.
As the story is believed, the Wentworth family had Eleanor killed and sent Samuel away.
But the Wentworth's owned the town and it's official's , so there was no trace of anything anywhere. Eleanor's disappearance was never even investigated.

What a strange and interesting story. Let's follow Clara and James as they continue their hunt for the truth.
Great story line Grace.

Clara and James continue to spend time together. The pair works to find more information about Samuel and Eleanor. James takes Clara to meet his grandfather, and Clara opens up to her daughter about James. After a map is discovered, the pair set off to investigate the sight of the old mill. What will the pair discover? Are they in danger?

Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.

Clara and James find another clue

As Clara and James continue their search for what happened to Eleanor and Samuel, they find more clues. First they find an old map, then a picture with Eleanor and Samuel. Can they find what the map is trying to show them? Will Clara's visit to an elderly lady provide more information.

So much more exciting searching going on. James and Clara are trying to find clues and then solve them. Two former town residents have made history years ago and now they’re trying to figure out if the stories everyone has told are real.
