This is my first arc, so thank you!
I felt like this second book had way more action and depth to the realm of Amethystia. The main character, Ebony while stubborn and independent for the most part did seem to rely on the male characters for more support to me. Was not a big fan of the romance in this one, I think I would have been ok if it was more about her coming into her own.

I had the pleasure of being an arc reader for this book and I throughly enjoyed it. As a person who normally takes a few days to finish a book; I was able to read this all in one day.
