I started reading this book because I was curious about what things mean in dreams, but by the end, I was more impressed with how to deal with dreams and dream interpretation. As Mari says, the meaning of what appears in dreams is not universal. Lately, I've been having a lot of different dreams, and I've been deliberately avoiding thinking about them because they somehow seem to show me fears that I've buried deep down inside. Thanks to this book, I'm determined to honestly face the unconscious and the deeper meanings that my dreams reveal.

Very informative

I really enjoyed this book. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about dream interpretations. There is extensive knowledge on the subject including that of dreams with animals, situations, objects, and different scenarios. There is a plethora of information in there that one would need to read multiple times in conjunction with a dream journal to fully understand. This book is so very helpful!

. A very brief history giving enough information to make it interesting but pacey enough to get the reader to want to know more. The writer goes onto to share common symbolic examples and then talks about the language of dreams, the emotions of dreams. The following chapters on lucid dreaming were also interesting. All in all a good read.

Not a bad book and has some useful interesting information but not exactly what I had expected it to be. Seems like something that may be more of a guide for me to look at in the future when trying to interpret dreams but a lot of information that didn’t feel necessary to be reading in the moment.

Difficult to get through. Truly felt like I was reading a paper someone wrote for college, using the thesaurus every time things get repetitive. Spelling and grammar mistakes littered throughout made it difficult to finish.
