Lyra's journey is far from over.
After her deal with Alekzander Black blew up, Lyra was forced to confront her biggest fears and stand up to her own mother, the Goddess of Light.

The balance has been disrupted, and it's up to Lyra and Alek to fix the rift before hell breaks loose on their world.
Alek's life hasn't been the same since he crossed the veil to the other side. He fights battles he can't tell anyone about, including Lyra.
The two must navigate the new dangers of their world while facing their own changing identities.
Is their love enough to keep them together through the evil that threatens each day?
Or will Alek and Lyra be ripped apart along with their world?

I love a good HEA.

This was much more action packed, the plot twists just kept twisting 😂 Im so glad I was able to read the story of Lyra and Alek. They were two peas in a pod, sharing the same life experiences, they were honestly meant to be.

Loved every second of this book 🖤

I LOVE Lyra and Alek!!

This was such a satisfying conclusion to the Duet! It’s dramatic, spicy, and kept me engaged the entire time. It’s a relatively quick read so it is easy to binge read in a single afternoon if you set your mind to it.

We left Demons and Darlings in the midst of some drama, and the story got more action packed and intense from there. The relationships became more complicated, the enemies became more daunting, and the stakes became even higher than they were before.

Such a fun read!! And yes- it does have a satisfying HEA!

This book had a great HEA and our main characters beat the bad guys. It was very fast paced. If Alek wasn’t protecting Lyra he was running from her. Quality time ruling the world was in short supply as Alek agonized over wanting Lyra’s blood. Perhaps I’ve read too many vampire books, as my first thought was “and so what? At least it was only her blood he craved and no one else’s.”

Overall a good book and entertaining.

I loved being able to finish Aleks and Lyra’s story! This was a shorter read, with that being said, the action packed in here, and the constant twists kept me so intrigued, and finishing their love story before I was ready for it to be over! If you read the first book of this duet you will definitely want to read this and finish it up! I gave it four stars because I simply wanted more from the ending!! It closes nicely, but also leaves room for interpretation. Enjoy the ride!

The first book was more fun than this one.
I expected this one to be more dark according to the content warning but I was definitely expecting it to be darker.
Love a hea though so that was cute.

I loved this conclusion. It has all of the ups and downs needed to keep me turning pages. I was a little disappointed with how some things were stretched out and some others were wrapped up too quickly but overall it was a great book and impossible to put down!

This book had me.interested and I finished within 24 hours however the ending was lacking. I wanted more of an explanation for some of the story line. Overall I enjoyed the series though. Spice level 2/5 maybe even one out of five for the while series.

It was a disappointment after the enjoyment of book one. There was no breath for suspense and it felt like everything had to happen at once.

More spice then book one, some of the story gets a little muddy in the book but it was so lovable and a quick read. I adore all things from Emily Blackwood’s. Such a good start to 2025
