A World in Which Death Forgets He is a God and Accidentally Becomes Detective Sherlock Holmes

London
Great Britain
October 29, 1880

Dearest Reader,

Due to a series of rather heinous incidents that took place in A Kingdom of Blood and Magic (book one of the Hallowed Fates series), the God of Death drank from The River Oblivion to forget his excruciating past, lost his memory, and virtually all sense of self. Such as the fact that he is, indeed, a god. Mors' memories eventually return, but as the event of his memory loss was an unprecedented catastrophe, we, at the time, had no idea when.

The events taking place in this book all culminate to Mors recognizing his limitless potential, and the fact that all his perceived limitations were merely a figment of his wild imagination. We also learn that all he needed was a little love and tenderness.
Oh, and sex. Lots and lots of sex.

With all the love in my engorged… heart,

Detective Sherlock Holmes
Beguiling & Handsome Devil Extraordinaire
Love Slave to Siaorse Rathbone
Loyal Friend and Unlicensed Therapist to Dr. Watson
Archnemesis to Lord Cecil Ash McCullough (more accurately known as Cunty-McCunterton)

P.S.
If you’re reading this Cecil-Weasel, I have a little surprise for you.
I’ll give you a clue.
It begins with ‘D’ and ends with ‘eath’. And no, I have not developed a lisp.

This series is intended for readers 18+ only due to explicit and highly descriptive scenes of a sexual nature, graphic violence, and trauma healing.

Originally, I'm from just outside New Orleans. I had my first son at 16. He's my best friend and we cry laugh together pretty much every day. I also have a 3.5 year old son who is far more refined than either of us, and he keeps us both in line. My two tiny angels are the heart and soul of me.

I've been writing since I can remember- was a bit of (a lot of) an outcast when I was a kid so books were my only friends, and the MMCs within them my true loves. Still are, honestly. I'm a single mother and prefer to keep it that way until I meet someone as worthy as the morally grey MMCs in my books. Until then, I dedicate my spare time to constantly getting my ass handed to me by practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai almost every night, meditating, and spending time in nature as often as possible.

Things I also love:

Music (bossa nova, epic film scores, alternative rock, classical music, funk, soul, and jazz)

Anything creative- from painting to sculpting, to probs even underwater basket weaving (if that were a thing) I'm obsessed!

Water! Whether it's swimming in it or drinking it, I can't get enough. Pretty sure I was a mermaid in a past life.

Magical stuff- from astrology to tarot, spirituality, mythology, yoga, meditation, occult history, Ayurveda, etc. Anything spiritual, I'm utterly fascinated with.

The Cosmos- from quantum physics to aliens- if it's not on planet earth, chances are I dove head first into a rabbit hole of theories on it. Anyones else who shares this passion, I would highly recommend checking out Melodysheep on Youtube. Their videos (and the scores in them) are absolutely breathtaking and mind-blowing. Best NYE ever was staying up until 4 am watching their videos with my 17 year old son. We laughed, we cried, we watched enraptured and in awe. *I am not affiliated to melodysheep in any way, I am just that passionate about them*

Kindness. Plain and simple. Costs us nothing to be kind and considerate of one another, and we are all going through our own sh*t just trying to do the best we can do, and sometimes our best isn't that good (and that's ok!), but sometimes it's f*cking amazing- and that makes it all worth it.

Also- I love you and all your glorious potential. Hope you're enjoying yourself out there.

FOR FELLOW AUTHORS:

I do not leave bad reviews. Every book is the work of someone's heart and soul. If something is simply not within my realm of favoured tropes or writing styles, I will still recognize the individual talent of the writer and shout it from the rooftops. If something is offensive or truly abysmal. I would rather contact the author directly than publicly shame them.

If you'd like me to review your book, I'm more than happy to give you my thoughts and leave a fair review.
